Finally!!! I have been waiting for this video for literally months
So, I finally have my new speedcube, and yes, a Valk Elite. I've been cubing for almost five years, and the only speedcube that I have (and still living until now) is YJ GuanLong. For so many solves, the YJ cube bacame my main. It's just last week when I received my Valk and it's the black one. Honestly, it's kind of different feeling specially doing U2/M2 moves. I need to practice more using Valk, at the very same time, set the cube up. I just recently put the strong setting center caps and at least it reduces the turning speed a little bit. It also satisfy me to watch these kind of unboxing videos so, a big thank you!

After setting it up, I actually thought of the opposite, with the Elite being unique in feeling, and that makes it my current main, so it prolly just boils down to personal preference 😅
I am still trying to find the right setup.
It's been months trying to figure it out.

I use green springs and red magnets because i like the loose feel but the stronger magnets keep the stability in check
I bought a valk 3m back when magnetic cubes werent really a thing yet and the cubicle put in the magnets themselves. Its still my main :D

I swear. Sometimes when you turn, I feel like the vid is on 2x speed
I left the cubing community for like 2 years and there is so much differences like I remember when the 356 x came out and it was about $60 and when the 354 came out or when I got my valk 3 jeez so much differences I might get back into it lol
JRCuber just seems different. In more than 90% of reviews I watched, the reviewer really liked it and started talking about it's unique feeling and ended up with this cube as theirs main. I got it myself and I can tell that this is for sure the best 3x3 ever. And you said, that you don't see this cube sticking around, or that you don't see many people using it and that is bullshit. So many famous cubers are already using this cube.

the valk elite was an ok cube, it feels good but the gts3m was still better in my opinion and when i got the max gan xs (which was last week) i am considering having it being my 3x3 main
This one is actually my main right now. Clear magnets and springs. I think it has similarities to the X.
What about GTS 3m ?

Just ordered 1 for 55 USD. Added Vortex core lube for speed and nebula piece lube because why not lmao. Btw Roux solver here. Also, I got my first SUB 30 yesterday (The day I got the cube) hehe
My Valk Elite didn't turn so good. It had less than 45 degree cornercutting. But when I loosened it until it can cornercut 45 degrees, it was too loose and pops when I solved. (it was dry as hell). I tried using WD 40 to it (im so dumb) it slowed down too much and thought it was unusable and changed my main into the Tengyun.
Overall I'd pick another cube even with less customization.
Edit: this cube is very good if you do not change the settings, just dont change them yourself because it would make it worse

Yu Xin has weak magnet and its a very fast cube ,the corner cut is around 45-55°.
MF3RS3M 2020 has weak magnet,it can corner cut so well,its a smooth,flued,and not to fast

Me too. The new cubes are pretty much just made to have more ways to customize it. I like my Valk, GTS 2 and SM and I'm happy with them.
there's nothing wrong with using old cubes as mains as there hasn't been much innovation in the cubing industry lately (besides customization options and magnets)

I would recommend the GAN XS it's 56.95USD
I’d suggest either of the following:
MGC Elite: If you’re looking for a cheap cube that’s almost as good as the others
Weilong WR M: If you don’t mind sacrificing customisability for the best performance overall.
Valk Elite M: If you like stable and customisable cubes with not the best corner cutting (I’d suggest this if you’re an accurate turner).
GAN XS: If you love light cubes and don’t mind spending a lot of money on one of the best cubes ever, and care about customisability and corner cutting overall.

I have never regreted my decision
I got it for Christmas and I use the red magnets and green springs
Dayan Yengyun v2 or Valk elite m
If you have the money then go for the valk elite, if you don't have the money and life smooth and plush cubes then go for the tengyun v2

I was extremely disappointed in this cube, especially for the price. I'm much better at setting up cubes than I am at speed solving them, but I could never get this cube setup to avoid the catches (even verging on lockups). Could just be a lazy turning style, but I don't have this problem with any other cube other than the YJ MGC Elite (which had similar problems for me). This cube is too high priced not to work better right out of the box.
