Last week I posted part 1 of my Grocery Shopping on a Budget (for weight loss) video on the Live Anabolic UA-cam channel... And I've finally got around to getting part 2 on there. There's been some foods that guys agree with... some that other don't... But one thing I DO know... Is if you're trying to lose weight and you're on a shoe-string budget... You won't want to miss today's video! Comment below and let me know what you think.
Thank you for the great video! The difference between fresh cut meat and pre-packaged meat is that there's a lot more preservatives and garbage added when it's pre-packaged so it can stay a lot longer on the shelves. Get fresh cut meat so you don't eat the unnecessary crap!
Hi Mark, you have inspired me. Have you put part 3 out yet ? I am 56 @ 240 lbs, my only workout is at McDonalds. I have bought 2- 15 lb dumbells, 2- 25s on the way. Not looking to be bodybuilder, but want to build arms and chest, and get my eating right. Thank you for the inspiration.
Another great video. One of the things I like in the mornings is to cook up an egg, throw a couple slices of lean meat (ham, roast beef prepackaged), maybe a slice of pepper jack cheese and a squirt of hot sauce. then wrap it in a carb counter soft tortilla shell (4 net carbs). Good for on the go.
Hi Mark. Thanks for all the great advice. 1 question: in other videos you mentioned soy is bad for men because of estrogen. The Kashi cereal line all have soy flakes as the 1st or 2nd ingredient. please clarify.
Hey Mark, Go down the isle with white rice , brown rice, wild rice, minute rice , uncle Ben's rice, quinoa, couscous ,and barley and tell us what you know about those foods. Thanks.
Great video, full of interesting information, & tbh I could've listened for a bit longer, but i guess that's why the video is broken into parts, thank you & i look forward to the next one👍❤from NZ
Keep up the great work guys! Some fruits and veggies have carbs in them so I have to be careful. Grass fed, grass finished beef. I keep carbs down to under 50 grams a day. So Delicious coconut milk ice cream is very low in carbs. They are not bad either. The Red Wine is good once in awhile, not a daily thing.
Did you take any kind of metabolic tests? If so what were they. I took a test at my gym where I had to breath into a machine for 10 minutes and it then printed out the results. The test said I need at least 1700 calories per day just at rest, no work outs. My buddy did the same test and his came out 1200 calories at rest. My question is how many calories per day should I eat over the 1700 calories? Thanks much for your videos, they have really good intel & content. Out.
Mark's being a little silly about tuna being almost 100% protein. Not by the longest shot. Protein by %: Tuna (canned): 25% Salmon (canned): 23% Beef (ground, 85% lean): 26% Chicken (breast) 31% Regards canned fish, I'd go for salmon every time. Great taste, good monosaturated and omega 3 fats, calcium from the bones.
@@chrisphelan2419 What on earth are you talking about? I posted the protein amounts above. It doesn't matter if it's drained or not. 100g of tuna--drained tuna, actual tuna flesh--gives you about 25g of protein. So if you need 100g of protein per day, you'd need to eat around 400g of tuna. Here's the USDA nutrition data for skipjack tuna which is even lower at 22% protein: fdc.nal.usda.gov/fdc-app.html#/food-details/175156/nutrients When Mark says it's almost 100% protein he's causing quite a bit of harm since anyone who believes that is going to eat a small can of tuna and think they're a re getting a massive dose of protein. They're not. Again, tuna is about 25% protein by weight.
@@chrisphelan2419 And he's wrong! Tuna is 25% protein. It's a very inaccurate statement to hold up cans of tuna and say "...and remember guys, 100% protein" as Mark did in the video.
@@rosselliot8971 just pulled a can of Bumble Bee albacore tuna from my cabinet. A full can has 130 calories and 29 grams of protein. That means 116 of those 130 calories are protein. Not quite 100% but pretty close. I think you are missing his point and thinking of something else. Where does your 25% come from?

Try using Pork Rinds for Nachos instead of Triscuits.

Don't eat microwave food guys. Take your microwave and throw it out.

Love the channel. It’s inspired me for sure. Out of interest, how big are your arms? Cheers
Check out the Triscuit "Organic" Original Non GMO crackers...only 3 ingredients...Expeller pressed sunflower oil, sea salt, whole grain wheat
I'm going to have to try horseradish the next time I eat some tuna. I also need to cut back on the alcohol.

What should I snack on at the golf course Mark?
frozen veggies get too mushy stir frying any tips too avoid that ?
Hey Mark you never talked about sodium. I don't eat beef jerky but doesn't that have a lot of sodium in it ??
Question, what about sodium?
Better to feed the local butcher than industry with beef in plastic covers.
Of course if you force a mouse to eat a box of sugarlow everyday, that box won’t cause cancer to human … LOL
Mark, you missed my favorite meat..............BACON!!!:)
Did you really say that vegetables don’t have any protein?

Tuna is almost 100% protein if you get the water packed like Mark was talking about.
