It's NEVER too late to get rid of the gut... And it doesn't matter how much "damage" has been done either over the years in terms of weight gain... With the tried and true tips I'll share in today's video... You can ditch the gut and begin revealing those abs!
Man, I love the straightforward no-bullshit approach! A lot of these I'm already doing; no sugar, lower carb intake, weight lifting four to five days a week but still have this belly. Then you said it, alcohol. Looks like I'll be cutting that out. Gotta get rid of this belly.
Your advice has been great. I’m 58 and have been working out half assed since I was in high school. This last year I have put on more muscle than anytime in my life. My diet, rest, three of your supplements and a consistent commitment to the gym… four to five days a week, an hour and a half to two hours per visit. I eat Cheerios on my work mornings but I’m gonna try this Kashsi now and see what it’s like. I need to cut back the fruit juices as well… I guess I thought natural sugar wasn’t as bad. Thanks Mark! I appreciate the gains I’ve made through your advice!
Real Common Sense tips & techniques . . . Mark, you have such a 'down-to-earth', casual presentation and conversational style I really appreciate. . . Your a really good sensei & mentor. Thanks.
Hi Mark & Gary. Greetings from Ireland. I just stumbled across your channel while looking for fitness advice and videos and I really like it! I'm a 46 year old male, trying to get back into shape after years of sedentary life. I'm 211 lbs and 5'10" with 31% bf so I really need to do some fat burning! Your videos are so helpful. Thanks, Denis
Love this information, and wish I would have found this a few years back. Being 50+ years old, I need advice thats age specific ... not this Instagram, Facebook crap, posted by a 28 yr old. I'm a believer! Keep it coming!
I recently started following your channel and have also started some of the workouts you suggest. I love the fact that I dont have to spend 7 days a week in the gym to have a nice physique
I was in the wine and spirits business for over 30 years but never a big drinker. When I retired and started to up my workout regimen I started to physically feel awful after just 1 drink. Pretty much gave up drinking all together even though I don't have to. It just doesn't even give me that much pleasure anymore, and I used to love the occasional single malt or premium red wine. My tolerance is practically nil now.
Exercise, eat healthy, good proteins, good carbs, increase high intensity short burst workouts is helping me. Soft drinks are the worst, high fructose corn syrup is bad on the liver and yes sugar is poison to our body. Being married can make you drink, bachelor now 👍🏻
Genuwine6799G if being married means you don’t have to work (including ones body) to impress the woman you claim to love above all others, then marriage might not be the problem. 🙂
@@mobaygirl6243 I don't know about that. Men and women sometimes use the wedding ring as an excuse to let themselves go. Someone I used to work with married a man who was 150 pounds on the wedding day and 250 3 years later.
Great information, Mark. With the obesity problem in this Country becoming so pervasive in all age groups, your suggestions really apply to everyone. Unfortunately, what most people lack is self-discipline and the desire to change their life style instead of searching for the latest quack diet/exercise program that promises results in 3-6 weeks. It's something you must commit to for whatever time you have left and you're a great inspiration that shows what dedication and education means to get a body to be proud of. I enjoy your videos and apply much of what you teach.
Thank you for this. Excellent advice, drawn from obvious success. Great credibility. But, please, loose that annoying, repetitive music. I feel like I’m on hold with Comcast.
Of all the items on your list I feel that the two toughest, in the context of discipline, are eating habits and sleep. An exercise regimen, when done correctly, easily becomes habitual. At least it has for me. My sleep and eating? Not so much, but I have made great improvements in both through discipline.
What would you recommend you do when you are a type 1 diabetic and have a low sugar episode to get elevated again? By the way, your videos are excellent , I have learned a lot from you. THANK YOU!
Think of it this way: when you drink sugary liquids and eat processed foods, it's like consuming *already processed* food and it becomes "instant glucose" that gets stored quickly as fat.
Hello Mark. I recently found outa out your workout for older men over 40 and above. I’m 59 and will be having another birthday on August 6th. I love to workout but about two 3 months ago I got tennis elbow from doing an exercise routine 3 to 4 times a weeks that I found online. There we’re all kinds of exercise routines for every area including aerobic, strength training, workout with dumbbells, yoga, and recovery exercise for your muscles before you start another workout for the next week ahead. I’m an African American, weight is 174 and some days it goes up to 180. I do have some injuries from past experiences when I was working. Some lower back injuries and pain from an I got when I fell on ice here in Minnesota on my right BUTT chick. My question is I know I’m getting older, but I would like to find another routine for my age that’s going to help me loose this belly I have and gain muscles. I don’t want to be looking like a man with muscles popping out everywhere on my body. Just do some exercise routines that I can do to help me stay healthy at my age. I don’t have a lot of money to purchase a home exercise routines because I’m on a fix income. I need something that I could do at home doing this COVID-19, and afterward. As I said before I came across you from an email you sent me and I thought it would be a great workout routine for me. If you have time look over all I have said and give me some feedback. Thank You Charles Cole
Ok have a question what do you suggest for guys who get hungry after 9pm at nite. Me I eat like one big meal for dinner then I will get hungry late at night after 9-11 at night so what can I do to lose my belly fat thinking about using a protein shake instead of reaching for a bag of chips or something
Brother,, I used to have the same problem. It became a mind battle as well as body. Even sleep was based on me eating a bowl of cereal or ice cream before going to sleep. I know everyone is different, but , I started not eating such a heavy dinner, and actually spread out eating smaller across the day. And it was almost like quitting smoking, to make myself not have a snack of some sort before bed. Maybe switch to a hand full or 2 of almond's or walnuts for that snack. I had to remind myself, it's ok to go to bed ,not stuffed, but satisfied. It takes time and a changing of the mind. Praying you find what works best for you. ✊
I hope I can be as handsome and attractive as you are, when I reach my 50's. Well done to give us such tips!! Thanks 5* Dan xx (And I don't mean you are 50!)
You Look great, and I am following your, and using, your exercise videos. Dietary advice, I look to others, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker and Dr Jason Fung to name a few. Following their dietary advice I lost 100 kg (220 lbs) in 18 months. The science of diet is changing, and the food pyramid is no longer relevant in their opinions (which they back up with references to controlled studies and decades of clinical experience). 🖖🏾🥩
Disagree about the eggs, 4 eggs a day is good for anyone. Make sure they are quality eggs, pasture raised and organic is the best of course. I'm 54 and they are helping me get ripped. IF 18 hours a day is the way to go as well. Need those eggs to fast that long.
But there is no such thing as lean beef. The last time I grilled a lean Beef-Burger ina George Foreman Grill, TONS of FAT came out in the dripping tray. Chicken breasts are the only ones that are lean.
I eat this cereal every single morning Kashi original,I use to eat Cheerios all my life and into my fifties found out how unhealthy it is gmos etc... Low protein nothing good about it, disappointed me because I loved eating Cheerios, eat Greek yogurt s, low fat milk, salads, lean beef, chicken, fish etc.
I am 51 years old from India. I use to do lot of exersice till 3 years ago. But now I cannot do . There is severe cramp in muscles every time I try . Can u advise reason and remedy

Question? My understanding of Kashi cereals is that their protein comes from soy, which messes with mens estrogen levels.
That’s a myth. Dairy is the problem. Use plant milk on your cereal. Your prostate will thank you.

I agree with Nick (two days ago) could not read the cereal box because things are backwards.

iA little more idepth would be to cut simply carbs as much as possible and eat more complex carbs like sweet potatoes, potatoes
I used to drink to kill the pain. But that was illegal so instead I divorced the pain and no longer had the urge to drink.
And the box of cereal I will buy it.

Can resistance training with bands or springs (specifically the Bullworker) be thought of as similar to resistance training with weights?
Tubes and bands probably work better
