the charging case does connect like an external device. You only need the software if you want to connect the transmitter individually...... and noise cancelation in the DJI is like 2008 final cut denoiser
I hear you. Thanks for commenting and letting me know about that case. I was wrong about that. And, I hear you about “2008 fcp”, I still think it’s worth mentioning though.
Thank you for your presentation. I do have the RODE PRO and to be honest, If I had to do it over again I would get the DJI 2. Not because I am unhappy with Rode, it's because DJI is user friendlier. You do find quite many reviews comparing these two wireless mics to many others, and this in my opinion is totally wrong. They should be only compared to each other. They differ only in one area, RODE offers T C, DJI does not. The recent scuttlebutt is that DJI appears to have some sound tech issues, which may have been addressed in the new firmware update. To be fair, both mics are great and deserves their accolades.
I agree with you, and I have watched some of those videos about the dji "issues'. I have to say, I don't necessarily agree. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey I am a beginner. I don’t want to be messing around with the levels during a recording. I just want to plug in the phone and have good audio. This mic will be used in real estate so I will be using it inside empty and full houses as well as outside (with wind) What’s the best mic for this case? I don’t have time to be changing and monitoring the audio levels (I think it’s called gain)
Thank you for correcting me. I never pretend to know everything, and try to do all the research I can, but sometimes I miss the mark. Also, thanks for watching and commenting!
though i like rode's audio quality more than the dji's, i got the dji because of convenience. i have an old laptop and the rode central app wont upload there. 😅

Yup, shows up just like any external storage!

You’re right. I totally missed that. Hanks for watching and commenting.
Love the review!!!
Glad you liked it!!
The DJI also supports only a subset of lavs because their plug is too shallow so only their mics work.
That’s so true!
I should have brought that up. Thanks so much watching and commenting.

I would purchase the Rode Wireless Me. I’ll add a link to the microphone here.

@@iampatrickmurphy Thanks for the reply.
Can you explain why do you prefer Rode Pro instead of Dji Mic 2?
You don't necessarily need Rode software for downloading. And you did not even need it on the previous model.
