Wow! This was an awesome breakdown of the prices between the major grocery chains. Thanks for putting all the work into this.
You’re welcome! It was pretty fun to do!
I think it’s exactly as you stated. It’s cheaper for anyone not wanting to work at lowering their bill. I think I save wayyyy more using Kroger sales. I fill in with walmart and heb combo locos.
Yes! Since I’ve started doing more price comparisons in my video and obviously couponing, I can definitely see where I can save more at other stores!
Great video! Just recently tried our new aldi, 2 quick trips. The one thing i did notice about aldi, their brands of certain products, taste a lot better than walmart great value brand products! And love the specialty cheeses! Definitely not enough choices on most products!
Thank you for your insight! Yes, the cheeses are cool!
Yep, I have felt this way about Aldi every since we got one back in 2015. I felt the options were limited and the prices weren't that great when you're someone who shops at kroger and target always looking out for the mega deals and cash back
Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way!
I have a few things that I get at Aldis because it is generally cheaper....peanuts, lifeway milk, cheaper spices, baking items and sometimes selective produce but only if needed and not on sale or in my other stores. The strategy is to stock up sale and coupon/rebate items and then use all the stores around me to find the best price for the healthiest ingredients. Note that sometimes items are significantly cheaper because they are made with cheaper inflammatory oils or tons of added sugars....Aldis has some foods that are cheaper and healthier ingredients and some that are cheaper and loaded with fillers. Aldis is a great addition to the stores in my DFW area but I am careful about price vs value in trying to make the least expensive but healthy choices with each shopping trip. I am lucky to have so many different stores around me that I truly have choice. Rebates apps, digital coupons and especially following and stocking up on sales is the way to truly reduce the grocery bite in budgets. Having good pantry space and a good extra freezer means that you can really get the most bang for buck. Thank you for another good video!
I like this thought! I definitely just picked 14 basic grocery items without a lot of variations to be able to best price compare. My mom likes shopping for organic/healthier items there so I get it!
I go to different stores for different things. I love Aldi because they are small and I can be in and out in 20 minutes. I shop Kroger for the sales too.
I can never stay out of the aisle of shame 😆
@@txfrugalfinds9115 all our savings straight out the window when that happens 😂😉
I love these store comparisons
Thank you for watching 🩷
I’m not that impressed with Aldi. I stop in, when I visit my MIL in Houston. But it’s always a big of a let down, overall.
I live in San Antonio area. Glad to finally at least have Kroger delivery, but it suuuucks not having a store for the rebates/receipts.
Agree with you! 😊 I love this vitro. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
My aldi and kroger are in the same parking lot. Then the Costco is less than a block away. Those are the stores i price compare. Im lucky since it's close
Dang! Ya that’s convenient!
Plus, if you curbside or Instacart Aldi, they charge you more. Kroger & Walmart do not.
I think Kroger you have to spend a certain amount to get free curbside. But it’s like $40 and that’s easy to hit these day lol
Love this video!
Thanks for watching!
Aldi is great for produce and specialty snacks and deli items in my state but otherwise it’s not that impressive and it’s far from my house.
Frys my Kroger affiliate or Safeway sales are always the best prices in town
They do have some cool snacks sometimes!
Girl, then why am I shopping at Kroger’s. 😭😭😭 I’m about to switch unless Kroger get off their tail!
If you shop the sales, Kroger prices are lower than Aldi. I share the deals every week that beat Aldi prices
Aldi took inflation and ran with it. I rarely go there anymore and it's just as close as Kroger and walmart are to me.
I pop in there from time to time when I’m close by but it’s usually to check out the aisle of shame or some new cool food finds that they might have!
@@txfrugalfinds9115 lol... The aisle of shame. Girl, I went to get a bag of potatoes last week and saw the adorable shopping buggy. That was HARD to leave behind. I stopped in the next day to get it and they were sold out. 🤦🏼♀️
I have all 3 stores within 5 minutes and across from each other. Usually shop sales at Kroger and if I need something else jump over to Walmart and Aldi for the best price available. 😊 Store hopping, lol.
@@gabbygaytan7213 I do that to an extent, but I'm always torn on what to do about cold food. How do you go about that?
