Once an item is twice as expensive as it was 2 years ago, I make an alternate selection. I bake my own cookies and biscuits now, and I'm frying potatoes to resemble chips. Remember how supply and demand works. Peace and Blessings everyone 🌻
Word! ❤thanks for the reminder that I will share! God bless you back!🙏
I've been busy the last couple of days. My cousin ( lives down below me), was admitted to the hospital.
His name is Jimmy. He called me at 10 am yesterday and asked asked me me to take him to the hospital. He went into surgery at 10:30 pm to close a hole in his stomach! And thank the Lord he is recovering.
Glad you were able to help out your cousin. What a blessing you are! Prayers for a speedy and full recovery for him.
Sending prayers from Mississippi🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@ultramagapatriot5874 Thank you
Prayers for a quick recovery and good health!
Hi guys, I remember before the C-19, the small can of mushrooms cost 44 cents at Aldi's. Have a good one. Thanks to you and Jess! 😊
I watch for the mushrooms marked down to .99 about then I can my own. I can get 5 4 oz jars of shoots and 3 8 oz jars or broth out of that .99.
@@crazygrandmaweaz8942 When they are of sale, I buy and then dehydrate mine!
I love watching these videos. So much of this over priced/shrinkflated garbage food I don't buy. Big Food is going to drive us back to real food with this greed.
It’s not greed. It mismanagement of our government. Not the shopkeepers fault. All joeblow
2 years ago I paid $39 for a peach tree. 2 years later I harvest 48 pound of peaches, and will be making preserves and freezing for smoothies. The tree has now paid for itself, and will live another 10 to 15 years.
@@debralabarge614 I don't see how you can claim it isn't greed when they can lower prices at will now that they have figured out we can't afford the current prices. It most certainly is GREED.
@@CraftEccentricity That is the way to do it!!!
@@chris5942 nope. Shopkeepers are suffering the same increases. Your shit is not free to create.
REMEMBER.. Hershey fired all their un..j@bbed workers! I refuse to buy any Hershey branded good ever since. BUILD BACK BROKE going on everywhere!
I've avoided Hershey since NAFTA, moved equipment to Mexico... something big industry wanted & lobbied Congress for.
I did not know that🤬
Me either! Thank you
Hostess is the one I stay away from because I remember when they shut down just to hire back at cheaper. Menards home improvement store chain got caught gouging after 911 and again as soon as covid started.
Heresy comprises 19 brands, not all choclate, and is MARS assoiated.
Aldi is still ok compared to other grocery chains. However the quality of the produce and fruit there has dropped. Stuff is spoiling quicker.
agree, produce is cheap but poor quality and hard/ not ripe. sometimes the broccoli and oranges look spray painted not natural
I agree, I stopped buying fruits and vegetables at Aldi, I eat plant based and I need my veggies to last more than a day or two, back to Publix for me. The only things I’m buying at Aldi is frozen fruit and everything bagel seasoning…
2020 Aldi oats were $1.25 for the large container. I can't wait to vote
You can’t vote against greed of these companies, same with oil companies just pure company GREED.
I knew they were super cheap then i wasnt sure the exact price.
it's the wild spending, trillions in new debt and money creation that's at the heart of Bidenflation, companies are passing on the costs caused by reckless fiscal policies
Lolol yeah. They are both on the same team and it ain't ours
😂😂😂,you think Joe Biden has anything to do with grocery stores 😂😂😂😂😂. Google is free do some reading 😅
We get ground chuck for $3.99 on sale usually the second week of the month (at our local grocery store). Then, when they have beef bottom round at $3.99 about once every four months, we get several packages. Cut them into steaks or small roast and vacuum seal them. Pork chops on sale are usually $1.99 about once a month and we grab those and vacuum seal them. Chicken we get at $1.99. We split packages into smaller ones and vacuum seal those. We date each package in upper right corner and vertically store them in the freezer. Over time, this saves a lot. Hope this helps someone. We won't pay more than those prices. When the good deals come around, we snag them. We use baskets for each kind of meat in the freezer. When the basket is full we don't buy any of that kind of meat.
I do also have to these days if you want to save and stock your freezer up everyone is cutting back and passing by things that we use to buy .
Yes, totally agree with your approach to stocking up when it's on sale. It usually works out for me when I'm on my last bottle or pkg or carton that it will go on sale and then I really save $ overall 😊 Can't imagine just buying the same items week after week with prices nowadays 😢
Sometimes we buy white milk and squeeze chocolate syrup in ti make chocolate milk.
Lol
We don’t buy chocolate milk. Dairies make chocolate milk out of the milk that has blood in it, they can’t sell it because of its appearance, so they add chocolate or strawberry to it. I don’t know if there’s any health concern in this but to me, it’s a little gross.
Need to go to Aldi today for Organic half n half. Will "check the shelves." Have a blessed weekend everyone!
My Aldi prices outside of Pittsburgh keep going up. Getting harder and harder to get good deals.
Canned beans now are as much as they are at Walmart
I buy dry beans and put them in the Crockpot.
15-25 minutes for unsoaked dry to cooked beans in the Instant Pot
Just did that yesterday! Delicious, I forgot how much! :)
Yes the caramel topping is really good!
I will be heading to Aldi soon and had several items I hoped you would cover in this video and you did not disappoint! Thanks!
Hi danno . My fridge broke this past week so we had to buy a new one. It was only 4 years old ugh. Anyway gotta get more food today just me and hubby but your right it's getting out of hand. We just do basics but I feel things have doubled if not tripled plus meds since I have to have to live. God be with us all.
Be prepared to pay Biden's Enviro prices.
Ours went out 2020, then the cloths washer, the the oven. Not wishing that on you, we bought a used frig. It leaks water I have a bucket in the fridge trying to catch it , all the draws fill with water even the bottom. Not fun..
@@stainedglass8401that’s why I don’t buy 2 nd hand. Not trying to criticize but I don’t trust people
I feel you just 17 days after the 5 year warranty my fridge went out 5gs nowadays 😢went for a much cheaper one 1500
When buying garden soils, potting soils, and the rest - Take the time to read the ingredient lists. Often you will find why some are cheaper than others, some are more expensive than others, and which lesser, store, and off brands are a good bet.
Some also have mulch, to make it cheaper
We don't have an Aldi, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, (Kroger) & Winco dominate in that order then we have the terribly expensive CO-OP, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. I do know apricots for us this year will come from the store as trees in the area lost their blossoms after multiple late deep freezes. Chop kits here are over $6 at Albertsons. The prices of EVERYTHING have gone up here in Boise. From unaffordable rents, homes for purchase, utilities.... my parents bought their house in 2013 for $289,000 it is now valued at over $800,000. Unfortunately they refinanced to pay off credit cards and are mortgaged at $599,000 at 3.99% and with interest rates now they can't do a damn thing. Happy to watch and wish for Aldi!
Still better than ANYWHERE else in my town.
Everything is getting expensive everywhere, even the $1.25 store is changing to $1.75
My aldis raises almost everything by at least a dime ever week
Thanks . I will be going to Aldi's soon. 👍
I remember when also bread was 25 cents a loaf. Canned veggies 19 cents. Bless the 90s
It's Biden's fault. Anyone buy senile old Biden.
I remember when bread was 1 cent God bless the 1800s
@@felipenunez2058 what’s that supposed to mean. Smart Allek
Red bags chicken went from 7 pieces to 4 so becareful with that . I pass on them now.
And $7.99 a bag, the other breaded chicken $5 ish
It's based on weight.

Hi Danno and Jess I hope your enjoying your day thanks❤
Good morning from Atlantic Canada. We had frost last night. Common this time of year. Will plant my few garden boxes and buckets in a few weeks. Even though we have different stores (except Walmart where I don’t shop, and Costco), I like to see what’s on your shelves and your prices. Have a super day
Are your prices out of control there?? Hello from Mississippi😊😊😊😊😊
Yes it’s world wide, same with our gas is over $6.00 a gal. Greed by these food and oil companies.
I bought the garden soil yesterday and it was excellent
Thanks for saying so. I was wondering if should buy some. I appreciate the feedback 😊
I shop at Aldi weekly. Mostly for eggs and some produce and cheeses, yogurt. The condiments are cheaper than Walmart, things like relish and banana peppers without additives are a good deal. I can only buy gluten free grains, and we don't eat a ton of them anyway so that saves me money I can spend on meat sales at the supermarket or the beef processor.
I love the dairy they have at Aldi…so good! However, last week here in TN some Aldi dairy was recalled…
So many of Aldi products now have bioengineered ingredients. I did not have to be such a label reader there, but now I do. I do like their dye free stance in many of their products.
We have been eating bio engineered food since the early 90s. Only recently food manufacturers by law need to label it.
Yes they do!! I barely buy anything from them anymore
All the coffee is at almost a 100% markup. I remember when a big tub of coffee was $5 pre pandemic. All the processed food prices are out of control! Time to start making everything from scratch at home
Thanks for the Aldi report.
Kroger prices are sky high, I bought 4 12pks. of Mountain Dew and it came to $42 and change🤯!! I then went to Dollar General and they had a sale going on for 4 12pks. of Mountain Dew for $16. A $24 difference 😳 Kroger got their 12 pks back 😉
Very informative video. FYI - those cornichon style pickles are pronounced ... cor-nee-SHAWN .
I think a lot of companies are just taking advantage and raising prices because they can. I went to get an oil change today and it was $89.00. It was 1/2 that few years ago. Everything is just getting out of control!
With the regional transportation, decreased sales in storm areas, and other more localized suppy and demand issues, do keep your eyes open for potential unadveetized sales and mark downs. It often takes 1 to 4 weeks to get supply redistributed and re-routed. Once rerouted and semi-stabalized, we can probably expect some increased prices to cover the costs and also the lost revenue.
Great video today it's funny how their sale prices are last week's regular price
Good morning,enjoy your day❤
"Goya Red Kidney Beans recalled in Puerto Rico and St. Croix over swollen cans" Food Safety News.
Spoiled.
It surprises me that Goya is having that issue rather than the other brands who have made their cans cheaper and thinner, when Goya still has a thicker can.
We need to make the cans better again too.
@@AKayfabe Depends on the product, veggies, especially acid tomatoes, I Re-can them in pint glass jars. Fruit has to be glass jars, I taste the tin can, and it ruins the taste. I do a quick canning on frozen veggies, in purified water, about 30 minutes. Canning anything relies on your altitude. W TN is low under 1,000 feet. Find a Amish canning book or an old Ball one. They work best. I do water bath canning.
Just saw where Aldies announced they were going to lower prices ....
Sometimes a store will hold stuff in back to create a "shortage" then when they bring some out at ANY price everyone snatches them up at a very high price so they won't miss out. Then the store most likely leaves it high. If folks were able to go without long enough, prices would drop. But people got to eat.
Depression / economic collapse.
yup been sayin that 4 yrs since dems bozo in ww3 is on take cover freind
Biden destroyed our economy and our country.
the sanctions against Russia are working really well, though, and that's why we need to have sanctions against China on top. Can't make it up...
Single bar of Dove Soap $1.25 Dollar Tree, I’m allergic to many, just got 3 pm of Ivory bars $2.47 @ Meijer. Also found that in grocery section! The 2 pack in health & beauty was $1.99 but only 2, pays to check both areas
I do love the vacuum sealed corned beef w/spice packet. Last summer around $12.50, don’t know about this summer. Kroger always over $24.00…
I wish you could pas one of those wafer cookies through the phone. I now want one.
Love my Aldi s ❤ 😊

Thanks Danno for the update
Berryhill fudge is fantastic! Hi Danno🐯
Going to Aldi tomorrow. Thanks for the video on prices.
Ha. No corn syrup yet loaded with sugar ...all natural which often mean nothing. Caffee B juncko. But they do have a good sour cream. Healthy.
Prices are just outrageous these days….
Worse by the week. I track prices. Please don't plan to vote for Biden again.
The blossoms are good. The studels are awesome. Fruits of the forrest are my favorites. But the carmel blossoms are pretty decent. I bought a ton and threw them in the freezer. I will never see them again. Thats how it goes at aldis.
Being told in UK that inflation is falling.. "Cut price" stores are causing bigger supermarkets to compete. Your Aldi prices there seem higher than ours? Do you pay extra tax at the tills in Als or is it included in the shelf price?
We have tax added, the amount being different in each state. Tennessee adds 6%, California adds 10%, for example.
Thank you Danno ❤️✝️
Few years back i think pre pandemic, lidl had salt for dirt cheap. I bought to use in my weeds. ( sidewalk) i had a few in the cabinet. I also bought some post pandemic.
I saw the prices if certain things creeping and I buy in bulk. Or i would see them "run out". This would signal when they retocked it would be a higher price. Trash bags , tin foil etc. I stocked up. I was good for a few years. But now im searching for deals.
I just recently got a great deal on trash bags at cvs of all places. With the 10.00 back deal. Im hoping it comes around again.
Someone did the same thing here in UK crazy prices .
READ THOSE LABELS!!! I was shocked to find some products I've always bought to have the GMO ingredient added to it and I would never have known if I wasn't watching sodium percentages. Ice cream, cereal, bread, name a food and you'll find it GMO ingredient in one of the brand names! Also watch for the APEEL coating on fresh produce. You cannot wash it off!!
Same price smaller packages. Your right, fruit and veggies do not last and be careful of the apeel.
I know Quaker and General Mills have been reported to have glyphosate. Does anyone know if other cereal and oatmeal brands are safe, or should I not stock up on any of them? 😕
You need to buy organic to avoid glyphosate residue on any grains.
My chuck roast was 24. I hate to see what it's like at Publix.
Stay safe.
I don't do gyms but I've watched numerous car/van life vids where people seem to rely on Planet Fitness. They have just doubled their basic $10 membership. " Quick! Don't miss out! Sign up for Planet Fitness now before they decide to triple the price. "But Planet Fitness executives said consumers have grown accustomed to price hikes and the move will not hurt business." As long as corporate grubbers across the board use "consumers have grown accustomed to price hikes" attitude excuse, the only thing coming is higher prices. Moving onward from double to triple the cost of anything you touch.
Planet fitness is being BUDLIGHTED for allowing men in women's restrooms!!
That attitude is exactly what would keep me from joining ... if I "did" gyms. How arrogant!
Plus, they allow biological men in their women's locker rooms.
Go for a long walk ,it’s healthier
I stay away from Aldi bc their German goodies they have I would get myself in trouble
Man, i want to move tothe US. Manderines are 6.99, pineapple are 3.49, chopped mixed salads are 5.49....other stuff is the same price....but our gas is 7,56 a gallon.....cake mix for 0.99..... freak we pay 2 dollars something for it....stevia is 12:00 here!!!!! Either way....all countries are fleecing their citizens. Pecans here are 30.00, bucks for about 1 lb...... Going to cry in a corner now....
We in England don't get good stuff like u guys
Those ice cream sandwiches are delicious. I caved 😂
Watch the stevia, some contain dextrose.
Americans, your groceries are still a lot cheaper, than here in Canada.
The basket would make a good ide for people trying to grow herb or onions and other snall food in maybe cucumber
I love buying Aldi paper towels and to but here in eastern central Indiana they haven’t had any of their big packs of paper towels for the last 2/12 months although the shelf area where they are continues to be empty like they are going to get some in but have yet too
Walnuts are a much better buy at Costco, $7.99 for 3 lbs almost 1/2 off the Aldi price
Jesus those prices look amazing next to dollar general
Finding so many items to be cheaper at Walmart. ☹️
Greedy Corporations with record profits that’s who is doing this
Walmart is better supplied and lower prices but really like your videos.
Many Aldi items are cheaper & taste better. I trust where Aldi items from( Walmart hides the where from).
I save a lot @ Aldi compared to Walmart. Kroger & Meijer & aldis ru sales, Walmart s roll backs are not a sale.
Not around here.
Chia seeds at Walmart was 7.98 for a 1 pound bag 3 months ago...Now 10.47.
Thanks Joe. Great job with the economy.
What differentiated Aldi's from the competition was their prices, they need to find a way to make that the case again.
Edit: i spent this morning rewatching your videos of Port Orleans and Cornado Springs lol.
Prices up everywhere. Just wait... Biden bucks are basically worthless.
Never Any bacon (turkey bacon is available) has been unavailable for over a month now, there still is a space for in in the cooler…
Even tootsie rolls shrank lol. Its ridiculous! I am so thankful I can go to Costco with my son and bulk buy. This clown show is far from over. 2025 is gonna be terrible IMHO!
