Hi, I have some problem with octane if you can help please, i have a very big scenes and it take a lot a time to render 1 frame, so i decides to separate the scene to 4 parts (foreground, background, subject and the grass) but the problem is how can i separate all of this in render because with the method of separating each parts in multiple layer doesn't work with Octane. I don't know if you can help me with this, thank you a lot guy
"Thanks, @Teteercks! When you work with a raw alpha in Blender, it multiplies automatically. However, in Octane, it's set up differently for professionals. They like to keep it unmultiplied and multiply only when necessary, especially in programs like Nuke or DaVinci Resolve. It's easy to use a pre-multiply or undivided node when needed."
can you make a tutorial on how to import quixel bridge materials to blender octane and how to use simulations and particles on blender octane please
Thank you very much! So helpfull!
Glad it was helpful! Don't forget to sub🤓👍🏾

Thank you! I only have one problem now, the black layer shadow pass is not denoised, how do I do this?
Just add the standard blender denoiser optics denoiser run it through that in the compositor

Can you make an updated version of this. Cuz some options u showed are not available in the new version of ocatane blender
Yep working on that
I moved from C4D to Blender!
Do you have any plans to teach how to extract passes and composite them in AE if you get the chance?
Yep working on it now hopefully I'll post in the next two weeks

I still don't understand why my layers with ID "2" aren't displaying any reflection or shadow. How can I resolve this issue?
the alpha render is dithering so bad at the edges of the picture. idk how to fix it
I talked about that in this video and why and how to fix it

add a alpha convert node in the compositor and set it to premultiplied. or choose EXR as a format to have the option in the output settings!
