Yeah, it's way too small and annoying to pick up. And I find it nonsense that it counts as a heavy object, so carrying a tiny mug slows you down to 50%. It should have been a mineral item that you can carry in your pocket imho
@@asmallpers0n Yeah probably, then the movement speed penalty would have made sense. Because the mug's small size I often forget where it is since it blends into the terrain too much (especially in Azure Weald) so a larger model would have helped a lot
In my adventure for the lederhosen. I found lost equipment in 5 of those missions. My Drg luck is wierd. It's nice to me in some moments, and it others is like it actually wants me to suffer. Cuz I tried to help my friend get it and we stumbled into a cave with 3 spitballers, Bet-C, a menace and mini swarm as soon as we landed.
One time, i was grinding for a machine event, and i found a compressed gold, a bittergem, TWO ERROR CUBES, and only one machine event. Not to mention the oodles of lost packs and cargo crates i found.
The probability system is self-aware and forgetful. It forgets to give you certain things - such as lost equipment - for many missions and then panics and gives them all to you consecutively. It's currently giving me my fill of error cubes and korloks, but what it remembers exists swaps around all the time.
This video is oddly chill, and feels like a Dwarf talking to his friends after retirement about a recent mission he went back into the business for, and how it slowly dredged down upon him until he remembered the reason he was there. Not for the Rock or Stone, but for himself
@@aSmallGreenDot Really? I'm running that mod and couldn't recolor it. Unless it updated recently that I'm not aware of. Checked it 2 days ago and no recolor option was there. If it's not I'm sure they'll get on it eventually, like they did with the elf "armor."
@@moy9948 You totally can! Most drg mods are clientside meaning only you will see them and the others dont need to have them, but any major gameplay affecting ones give you an alternate save to play in so you dont get any unfair advantages or permanently ruin your main save.
Started this assignment and got Harold 3 times in a row lol and none of my teams knew how to kill him. I did get my first ever jet boots (it's been this whole damn season and the closest I got to jet boots is the hidden ones on the rig) finally so that's nice
Got my Lederhosen last night, but the last mission broke me and my friends. Swarmageddon, which nobody prepared for, max length and complexity dense biozone morkite mission. I had the M1000 and crossbow, my gunner had the minigun and forgot to switch to bullet hell, and my driller was the only one who had any chance with the flamethrower. That friend of mine has a habit of running extremely far ahead and splitting up though, so me and the gunner were fighting for our lives against honestly the most DENSE amount of swarmers I've ever seen in my life. We had to hold out for a really long time, since there was a big meteor, and it was a really long mining mission. I never want to see those flesh colored ants AGAIN.
I need a Stardew ost mod for DRG now. Some days it does feel like I'm in the depths of the Skull Cavern; running low on gold ore for my sling shot, waiting for a resupply.
You need to ascend to a higher tier of gaming by LOOKING UP ALL THE TIME Edit: the more i play driller the more i like to use my drill as weapon like its rate of fire is fast enough to stop a stingtails tail attack and spitball ball attack
I got Harold three times in a row, and the Egg Hunt was us jumping into a radioactive pit with two hordes, a Nemesis, Harold, and Betsy. Absolute carnage.
At least you finished all the missions in one attempt each. I had a (modded) 6 player team and we lost 4-5 times. Made zero progress on the assignment. Regardless, congrats on the Lederhosen, man.

Mods like Anti-Mineral scatter, or mods like the hundreds of mods that change specific features. There are quite a few possibilities really. I concur that the modded probably refers just to the 6 player lobby, yes. But I am still curious if there are others.
When fighting Herald... Please don't forget to clean up the area whenever possible. Because that spot you left alone can bite you in the ass while fighting herald. I always get teamates that tunnel vision Herald during the fight. So people who grab the litho foamer. Please spray the rock pox on the ground. So your litho vac teamate can clean the area too.

The mining mission I ended up going "Ah its just a short mining mission, I can do this on haz 4" and then I proceeded to not find a single crumb of Nitra all mission, ending with me running back to the drop pod with 0 ammo left on everything I owned. Yeah that assignment was PAINFUL.
My friend and I had the worst luck for the on-site refining for this assignment. Had to try it three times before clearing it. Glad we aren't the only ones that struggled with this assignment

I love this game, I doubt I ever won't, but holy shit this last week of drg was a slog for me. I had like 5 rival events which all weren't fun. Still gotta do the rest of the lederhosen assignment
I used to do point extraction as my go to quick and easy mission, but at some point a couple years back the scaling on the mission got ramped up like crazy. Nobody else has mentioned it either,w which is odd, because its not like a minor thing. It went from the easiest mission type which I can complete on a higher haz level than my usual skill level, to one which I have to drop the difficulty down on.
a few seasons ago they upsated point extraction map generation to be slightly more complex then they had been before. So you have more complex layouts now making point extracts harder
im so mad that i didn't complete the leederhosen assignment, i was doing it on the last day and decided to complete the next day without knowing the event will be finished :(
ngl I think my game was cursed or blessed cuz while I was doing my journey for the Lederhosen I found either a cargo crate or lost equipment in all these missions, and it pretty much set me up for a good while (3 whole upgrades) but it came with the added curse of literally multiple bulk dets spawned at the same time trough the course of most these missions.
god i wish i could paly DRG right now, my GPU fried itself as season 4 got out and it hurts me to miss all these events, it would have been my first ever oktoberfest too.
It's a mod, "Rancor's Rig HUD" that shows the current buff beer at the bar, and the missions that have warnings/anomolies. Very handy so you don't have to sift through every single biome to see what Interesting(eg: mineral mania, etc) missions exist. Very handy.

I played on hazard two-3 and even in a lobby with multi hundred level players with multiple promotions as teammates on hazard two we got our shit stomped. Didn’t help it was in a biome I’ve never seen before and wanted me to mine 400 not 320 morkite.
Ive been playing DRG for 2 weeks. I play on haz 3-4 and have had the same amount failures in haz 3 even with lv 100+ players. I think level 100 players who still Queue haz 3 are more casual or grinding while watching UA-cam
I think the interaction box for picking up the beer mugs found in missions should be bigger.

solo is pretty hard

I did haz 4 with full team and for some reason it was harder then many EDD, so dont uderestimate haz 4

It's the only mode in the game that increases spawns based off time passed. So after so long the spawns will literally be nonstop
