The weather is playing Jumanji at my area. One day its sunny, the next day its a whole day of rain, then the day after its like we are participants of Project Blowtorch, then a few days later its flooding
Dude with the 72 hour drizzle that finally ended yesterday, humidity has been horrible. I definitely agree tho, i lived in Midland and higher temps are way more bearable with no humidity
Oh, man... tell me about it! We're suffering at home right now with partial electricity and NO AIR CONDITIONING! ( ua-cam.com/video/Qop4SzMbKX4/v-deo.html) I was somewhat thankful for the rain and overcast skies last week, but this week is sunny and hot. We're cooking indoors with 95°F+ temperatures and high humidity. I'm hoping that the electricians and insurance company get their act together this week so we can restore service here! 🥵 --QM
Thanks for the support! Good luck on your upcoming ADV160... those look like great scoots. I might rearrange my stable to fit one in there before next year so I can take it on the 2025 Scooter Cannonball ride. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Got rid of all my small-wheeled bikes early this year. Don't miss the slow-ass ride and no guilt about it sitting in the garage. I'm sure the new teenage hooligan owner appreciates it more than I ever could. Maybe I'm finally "growing up". Did you get your meat smoked that night?! If you were seen on the Navi, chances close to 100% no, lol!
I'll never "grow up"... that means I've given up! 🤣 Small-bore life is where the fun is, man! I stopped at Spec's Liquor and got a couple varieties of Jose Cuervo margarita mix AND my Chi-Chi's Long Island Iced Tea! I liquored up (mental lubricant) for the sweat-fest outside, and smoked 16 lbs of brisket and 8 lbs of chicken breast... ended up finishing the batch at 10 pm. 😎👍 --QM
@pinball2002 Thanks for the tip! That fuel nozzle area is already cramped for space, so I have a routine of setting it on top of the pump. That reminds me to grab it as I get the fuel receipt. 😉👍 --QM
Buddy do I know what you mean about hot and humid. South Louisiana and Houston weather is almost indistinguishable. Unlike most around here though, I refuse to ride naked. The struggle is finding that balance between protection and comfort in the heat.
I knew a guy in Oklahoma several decades ago that bought a CAR that way! He had a rare blood type that was in high demand (specific RH factors), so he donated blood 3-4x/month. He had a virtual money spigot on his arm... lucky bastard! 🤣👍 --QM
I just can't get over how enjoyable a 110cc scooter seems to be. Such low power, even lower than the damn 125s you've got, yet it seems so much more/or different fun! Any insight/thoughts? Blessings as always!
Thanks, Derek! The Navi is surprisingly quick for having just a little 110cc air-cooled engine. Acceleration up to 35-40 mph is quick enough to stay out in front of all but the most determined cagers. Above 40 mph is where is falls off and begins its leisurely climb up to 50-53 mph. My biggest gripes with the Navi since day one have been the terrible fuel economy and the rediculously small fuel tank... just 0.9 gallons... really?! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard Right I remember you bringing that up in a few videos etc. You would think SOMEONE by now has figured out a way to take out the top tank, the storage compartment and combine them or secondary somehow etc.
Howdy, Marc! No, I haven't replaced the Cub's remote/fob battery yet to see if that fixes the smart key error. I've been dealing with no electricity and no air conditioning at home for the last couple of weeks, so life is still throwing curve balls at me. 😉👍 --QM
Now that I saw you cheating on i10, im definitely getting a navi. I think i wont die on my fry to mason morning drive 😂. I've watched almost all your navi videos. Keep up the great work 👍🏾
I don't recommend anything more than quick on-and-off's for the Navi, but it can manage 50-53 mph fairly consistently ( ua-cam.com/video/a26BbelWzZg/v-deo.html ). I don't dare take it up there when traffic is running full speed because that's 85+ mph in Houston life. When traffic is really thick and backed-up, then average speeds are under 45 mph... right up the Navi's alley. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
well if its mail in ballots they have the wrong name on it now. LOL. and i cant find any 17 inch tires period that will fit our trail on Amazon at all other other than the 241 i have on mine now. and i love them Except they dont last. i didn't make it to 2600 miles and my rear is gone. i might make it to 2800 and i think it will be touching the cord. so next week i might be making a trip to houston and look around and see what i can find. the dealers dont even have any around here but we only have 2 and Harley and you know they wont have one.
i just posted a short video of 3 of my babies from 2015 i sure miss them mostly my wing it was a 2009 and turbo i dont know how fast it was i always chickened out about 140 i think 145 is the fastest i have ever had it.
Right?! That's my biggest complaint... abysmal fuel economy compared to the rest of the mini-moto fleet. My Super Cub 125 easily gets 135 mpg around town, so that's DOUBLE the economy of the Navi... and it can run 65+ mph at WOT while achieving 110+ MPG! 🤔 --QM
@@7thsignthenorthcoast146 Nope... it's just a little 110cc air-cooled engine! It's surprisingly quick and capable for a 110, but the fuel economy sucks. 😉👍 --QM
You can see the top speed at 39:11 in this video... that's it... tapped-out at wide-open throttle. I have a set of Dr.Pulley 12g sliders in the variator that helped acceleration a bit, but the top speed didn't improve over the stock roller weights. I think a larger rear tire and maybe an aftermarket ignition unit (CDI) might increase the top speed, but anything beyond ~60 mph is unrealistic for this little 110cc beast. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Houston streets stay jacked up. All they do is just lightly patch it and move on until that patch gives in ad infinitum
Missed the Navi, glad to see you back vloging after your accident

I got myself light weight mesh jacket orange color for hot weather of Texas! Mr Aaron 🍻

Nice to see the NAVI out again is that the one with High fuel consumption?
