Thumbnail clickbait.
Why?
Until a week ago, it irritated me to a different level to click on a video & not see what caught my eye in the thumbnail picture. I have learned that at first UA-cam selected 3 thumbnail images for the owner of the channel to choose from. Then, it was said that UA-cam narrowed down to 1 thumbnail of UA-cams choosing.
Since I have found out I am a bit more lenient & less irritated. I have watched 3 car videos this week with Jay Leno in the thumbnail pic. Not 1 of 3 said videos had Jay in them.
@@sticknzmud2723 That's not correct. The owner uploads the thumbnails and the UA-cam algorithm gives feedback on what thumbnail performs best based on user interactions. Why does every UA-camr doing a give away feel compelled to destroy the item being given away before they actually give it away. Reminds me of the saying, “With friends like these, who needs friends”.
*with friends like these, who needs enemies
Legal reasons. If it is a new item, it is considered a lottery and for that you need a special license. If they use and abuse it, it's not considered a valuable prize and thus it's not a lottery... Stunt riders use a hand rear brake
Some dirt bike/dual sport guys run left hand brakes after installing a Recluse auto clutch. Works awesome off road.
Hand brakes are just better. Far more control in your hand than in your ankle with a moto boot on. Also, it means no compromising on foot position to use the rear break. Only reason foot brakes exist is because of the need to use a clutch with one hand. Anyone who can ride a pedal bike can use duel hand brakes. On a 72v 40AH battery, my commute is a 25% of my battery. For reference, I'm 205lbs. I was 170lbs last season and got better range. $3,700 Cdn vs the $5,200 in service I put into my car in the last 2/3yrs.... The math ain't hard. Go electric.

I get that you aren’t the biggest fan of electric cars and bikes but the technology advancements from those are transferring to other areas. I’m disabled and mobility scooter technology has gone crazy from the trickle down. Once I save the 5000 I will be able to get one that has 30-40 mile range and give me more opportunities in life.
I truly appreciate the carbon balance. It's important in this day and age. Consider retrofitting a 2-stroke Detroit Diesel in Klaus, just to really give you that edge ya know....
Just got my motorcycle liscence! Ive been watching for a long time now and you inspired me but jeez are bikes expensive LOL cant even afford a honda monkey but some day ill be riding!
Look at used Hondas, and other Japanese brands. Don’t go for a junker. But you can find running bikes that need a little love, and learn some wrenching. Have fun!
Cfmoto 300ss will do you well
I wasn't aware that people who worry about what construction workers think of them are a thing. If your wife respecting you is dependent on the propulsion system of your motorcycle, then you are your motorcycle by extension.
The ignorance is killing me
Your just a boomer
me: wow, one of the coolest E-bikes ive ever seen.
Me after seeing price: *MAH HEART MAH SOUL!*
@5:45 we call that a "Kettle lead" but isn't that a US plug on the end? With a British plug on the end (Square, 3-prong), it's a very common 3-wire power lead for laptop chargers and PCs and... yep, kettles. It's 3-way because it has an earth to stop you electrocuting yourself if the device shorts. I don't know if the US has figured that out yet with their 120 V, or has to solve the gun issue first, but yeah. That's what the lead is. And Your confusion is, I THINK related to why, growing up watching US movies, I thought that throwing a hair drier or toaster into the bath would kill someone. No, any short is earthed and/or the fuse blows. British Human = alive. So yeah, the humble kettle plug.

I would actually LOVE to have one of these things to get my son into riding bikes. I ride with the combat veterans motorcycle association, but i STILL cant get my son interested in riding.
There is something wrong with your son...
Can I make a suggestion a couple of months ago I just bought my first electric bike and it's a aerial Rider grizzly dual motor dual battery it's a class 2 bike that goes 21 mph if you wanted to go faster you watch a video and you adjust some buttons and it has pedals because if it doesn't it's a motorcycle and it has to be registered but electric bicycle does not and there's a lot of different bicycles out there to choose from and I guarantee you once your son gets out there and start riding he will love it and he will never want to stop I rather ride my electric bicycle to go to grocery shopping then use my car and I'm in my middle 60s I love my bike it is so fun and your son would love it too
Take care and God bless
Maybe he just doesn't like bikes, and that's okay. Better to let him be himself and show interest in what he likes. Don't end up like my dad who puts down everything I like and pushes his opinions on me. I can't stand him anymore.
This man definitely has more money than sense and I'm not judging from just this video, I'm judging from all the ones I've seen. In fact if I could post a picture of his sensibility, he would definitely be right beside the turtle.
But yet you kept watching. Cant buy that kind of fame.

In North America, it's common to have our rear brake lever on the right and the front on the left, whereas in the UK, Australia, and India, among others, the standard is to have rear brake actuated by the left lever and the front by the right.

Never had a bike, a moped as a kid, this e bike looks pretty cool, I want one to commute to work 15 min away. Gr8 vid ty
Holy smokes! $7000?!?!? is that cheap?
No it's not, you can buy a surron or talaria for waay cheaper, I'm talking 3-5k and they are just as fast if not faster and a bigger brand. He's just probably sponsored by these people
For 8-10k you can get a Surron Storm Bee. A bit more expensive, but about double the power output (10kW vs 22.6kW Max) but it also provides some 600NM of torque. It does 0 to 80kmh (0 - 50mph) in 4 seconds
A caofen f80 is fairly similar to this, cheaper with a liquid cooled 72v 48ah battery.
Surons are 60 volts stock and pretty slow but with good torque. You're looking at 4k+ to make them 72 volt. The eride pro ss is about 5k and does 55 mph and is closer to this. You can also get a race mode 15kw version of this for 800 more and both are street legal.
State laws are still evolving how to treat e-bikes. This is a motorcycle and you should ride it like one with protective gear.
Opening packaging with a chainsaw looks so much easier and more efficient than any box cutter lol it's science
Didn't do any research on the company that makes the bike. Said some racist crap about chinese writing, even though it's made in the UK. Doesn't know how to use a 220-110 converter. Says mehhhh I'm not going green, I just got this to review! Then literally says "They think the demographic is someone new and not people who are moving from motorcycles onto this." AND IT'S NOT EVEN THE BIKE FROM THE THUMBNAIL. Oh, and I'm just 7 minutes into the video smfh this guy........
will trade ya a 36 pound goldfish for the bike and scooter
Good video, loved the truck backing into the property set table, I’m still laughing over that
''Put it in a bag of rice", lol.
*_HOW DARE YOU_* ?!?!?
You should hook up with Edison Motors, and create a hybrid bike.
I should
Glad I watched this vid. Thought it might be to early to take plunge but this made watch more YT vids and now I want one.
The Whistling Diesel style content is not appreciated. Just test the real world scenarios and maybe pick one sponsor to push. Is this a ebike or a camera video?
It's just a sales pitch for a whole slew of different products.
There's no link in the description about the bike like he said there would be???

Bro i got click baaited😂😢😢😢
Until a week ago, it irritated me to a different level to click on a video & not see what caught my eye in the thumbnail picture. I have learned that at first UA-cam selected 3 thumbnail images for the owner of the channel to choose from. Then, it was said that UA-cam narrowed down to 1 thumbnail of UA-cams choosing.
Since I have found out I am a bit more lenient & less irritated. I have watched 3 car videos this week with Jay Leno in the thumbnail pic. Not 1 of 3 said videos had Jay in them.
A little tip : A MAGNET would help tell you that piece was METAL or not. If it was METAL the magnet would stick and if it wasn’t metal the MAGNET would NOT stick.
I would help instead of scraping it to see.
That would tell you if its steel or not. Aluminium isnt magnetic, the only METALS that are magnetic are Iron, Cobalt, Nickel and Manganese.
😂😂😂 are you 7 or something? Who told you that all metals are magnetic?
This comment has simultaneously made and destroyed my day 🤦♂️
My best advice with any Solar vehicle. Get a proper GPS tracked speed, never take their word for it, or even whatever it says on the speedometer, they are often innacurate.
They mainly do E scooters, they have a whole bunch of them. There is one specific e scooter the P1 (they claim it does 40mph) then they do a big brother version the P1 Pro, which is supposed to do 50+mph. So i bought the P1 pro.. Yes its really fast, when going flat out the speedo says im doing 49mph (thats close enough to 50 to let it slide), But if you also run a separate GPS tracked speed app on your phone, you see its actually doing 37mph. The fastest i have ever got out of it is 41mph and that was after contacting solar to get the optimum settings for most possible speed AND riding down a big hill. Don't get me wrong, they make some decent kit, but they like to be a little over confident with their speeds.
£4999 for an electric bicycle with only 70 mile range is NOT cheap and in no way should be promoted with sponsored videos like this. Banished to Kanye Discussion.
Similar problem with going from RC aircraft and toy drones to manned vehicles: they put the red lights on the front (control reversal) and the green on the back (normal control response). In manned aviation, the red lights are on the left wing (aircraft on the right has the right-of-way) and the green lights are on the right wing.
Respect for doing what you do, I have an 07 mercury montego (white) with a replaced side mirror and has has the engine light on since last year. I have been “saving for an electric bike” but this car eats gas and maintenance having the engine light on and “empty windshield fluid” but I use my Gatorade squirt bottle to add water to clean the windshield xD.
Been to the mechanic 2 times and engine light and oil sensor remain on (0% oil AFTER oil change)
It seems you're not aware but just FYI, electric bikes seem to be matching the brake layout to that of a human powered pushbike. I'm not sure, but I assume this is also how scooters layout their brakes as you have no need for your to change gears or pull a clutch. Auto gears and no clutch means the left handle-bar and left foot are free, so the right foot brake gets moved to the handlebars so all the controls are in one place.
Picture of this had lightweight fairings and improved aero.
Random information but I worked for a company that made the seats and body panels for the Ariel Atom.
Wow!! ❤❤❤ That bike looked awesome Sean! This is something i would love riding around my place here in Norway. I would have painted it in the famous GULF collors and themes as i have done with my 3 latest bikes. I would be so honored to have a comment from you on the video i have made from you. You showed me the way of Jesus Christ and your verses is something that i am enjoying so much. And ill tell you i didn't have belief before, but you Sean changed me over these years. Actually you alone have allowed me Jesus into my heart as a 49 yr old man and that is a good feeling. And especially since i lost the most important person to me on 9 of November 2022 my mom. That was my 911. I never even had chance to say goodbye. Blood clot, then a massive heart attack and then her heart bursted and i wouldn't keep pressure and i lost her.
Her heart was the strongest heart and the heart that was filled with most love ever.
And my mom was the only person that always rooted for me, and she was the only person also that sat down and looked at my bikes i had made and really took her time also and asked about details and so on.
Its kinda like im seeking recognition Sean, having just that 1 person that i care for and have shown me Jesus to see me.
Thank you, I am hiding under my red icon here and hope you like the KTM, the HUSABERG and the HUSQVARNA i have all made into GULF theme.
Much love from Norway.
Toby.
Loved the illustration of Matthew 28:19, hilarious!
This whole video felt a bunch of commercials. I imagine (i could be wrong) he got something to test the bike. Then the hyped Craig cameo was a radio commercial. And finally the constant camera mini commercials sprinkled in.
