    Retired anesthesia here. if you have stones in your gallbladder then a laparoscopic cholecystectomy is likely in your future. If there are sand grains and sludge partially blocking the common bile duct, then an ERCP (procedure done in the GI lab) is likely. Either way this will require attention as it will occur again. Trust me you don’t want a gallbladder perforation or gangrenous gallbladder. And yes reducing high fat content foods may help to delay future episodes. Typically gallbladder attacks occur several hours after eating. Take care.

    Quasi, I had the same kind of pain you described five years ago and it led to emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder. I'd had no warning signs and no previous pain until it hit. Hope you feel better soon!

    Sorry to hear about your health issues. Glad to see that you are back on your feet. I'm in the west of Ireland and we've had about two weekends where it wasn't wet/windy all summer. I've been camping once and hammocking once. And the camping weekend, was basically peg the tent down and wait for a gap in the wind. Summer was a total waste of the warmer weather.

    I'm glad you are doing better. The same thing happened to me about a year ago. The E.R. doctor thought I was a hyperchondriac until they got the test results. Then, I was rushed off to operation, and my gallbladder was removed.

    I had my gallbladder removed in 2018. Those were the worst pains I've ever experienced in my life. I quickly learned specific foods were triggering the attacks, so until my surgery, I was eating a very bland basic diet to avoid that pain again.

    Here’s hoping you get to feeling better. Gall bladder….several years ago my wife thought she was having a heart attack while we were on vacation. 24 hours later and $18k in tests at a local hospital was told they did not know what was wrong but was not her heart. A week later at home another attack, and a visit to our family doctor. Within 5 minutes she diagnosed it as a gall bladder attack. Trip to the hospital, surgery to remove the offending organ and all is well. So yes, a gall bladder attack is almost identical to a heart attack with all the symptoms.

    Hey brother! So sorry to hear about you're health issues. Sounds scary man, 🙏🏽 especially when you didn't have any clue wtf was going on.
    I'm glad to see you're doing better. I haven't finished the video yet so I'm not sure what level of details you go further into.
    On a lighter note, I have the City Grip 2 on my Genuine Roughhouse 50cc scoot. And I LOVE THEM!
    The factory rubber were cheap ($35 Maxxims) and they didn't not inspire confidence on any type of wet pavement. They're had no tread depth and felt like slicks rolling over any small road debris, gravel etc.
    The Michelins are a world apart. And I also notice they have a tendency to weave more if you're not focusing on what line your tracking. 🤣
    But damn do they turn in and stick to every surface. They felt physically sticky/tacky to rhe touch before they were installed. 😂
    Yes, you're correct they are dual compound and the silica they use is hydrophobic to literally push water away.
    Obviously I have a small scoot so these are 120/70/12's in the front and 130-70-12's in the rear. Whaf size foes the Silverwing use?
    Also, is it just me or does the way the front tire mount look backwards to you also?
    Yes, I know they're supposed to be, but damn, it still looks weird to me!
    Birch had the same thought and issue when he did his Navi video. I was like Nope that's backwards bro but I get it.🤣🤣🤣
    Feel better soon my friend. Be safe. And Godspeed your travels! Much Love from VA brother!
    Also, thanks for the small bore shout outs Love!
    Two wheels down. ✌🏻

    i have to be honest after i got home got mom taken care of and put my friends mother in the ground. and thinking about it the scoots of ozarks was about organized as a train wreck. but the 4 days there i had a great time just riding on my own. after reading reviews i think city grips is what i am going to put on my wing. i have read where people are getting 6k miles on the rear tire.

      @@mattalger2325 i'v always ran Dunlops and they seem to be good tires. and the rear tire is a little over a year old with less than 500 miles on it and the front tire looks great no cracks or anything but its 12 years old. so i will be changing it anyways soon i hope.

    What is the video overlay system that you use on your videos. Glad you’re feeling better 👍

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard  8 днів тому

      Howdy, Christopher, and thanks for the well wishes! The telemetry data for the heads-up display is recorded by my GoPro Hero11 camera (and my Garmin Zumo GPS when I'm riding with it). The gauge overlay is generated using a third-party program called Telemetry Overlay: goprotelemetryextractor.com/
      I stitch everything together with Adobe Premiere Pro to create the final videos. Creating the overlays is a lot of extra work, but I think the end results are worth the effort. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard  4 місяці тому +2

      Man, you're not kidding! I felt like I'd been shot in the stomach and was having a heart attack at the same time. That pain was crazy. I've experienced some 10-level pain in my life, so I'm no lightweight... dry sockets (lower jaw, wisdom teeth removed), pelvis dislocation, and a broken femur... all heavy hitters and worthy of morphine drip. That gallbladder attack was right there in the top 3 ouchies for me... yikes!
      The swelling and bruising in my right knee is still going down from that first blackout. I'm looking at treatment and/or surgical options now so I can avoid a repeat of that experience. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

    I was just wondering if you or some of your subscribers might be able to help me out with some information I have been looking at scooters online and also trying to find a good recommendation for a person my height I'm 6'5 And trying to find some information on a good recommendation for a scooter for someone that tall. I'm glad to hear that you are doing better back in May of this year I also had a health scare they thought I was about to have a major heart attack and rushed me from the Dallas Oregon hospital to the Salem Oregon hospital love watching your videos.

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard  2 місяці тому +1

      Howdy, Leslie! Sorry to hear about your health scare... I know that's not any fun.
      You're definitely on the taller end of the scale for most scooters, so you might have trouble finding a good fit with enough leg room. You will probably need to look at the full-size "maxi-scooters" like the Suzuki Burgman 650, Honda SilverWing 600, or other 400-650 cc options.
      If you find a scoot that fits your frame well, you might need to upgrade or modify the seat. Most maxi scooters have lumbar supports (bolsters or bumps) at the back of the rider's saddle that limit your ability to scoot back and get more room for your arms and legs. Most upholstery shops can do the modifications to remove the hump and recover the seat.
      The next hurdle will be the winscreen. Before purchasing a scooter, I recommend checking the aftermarket to see if there are good windscreen upgrades. You'll want a taller "touring" screen to give you good coverage and direct the wind over your helmet. Tall riders usually have more problems with noise and helmet buffeting, so it might take some shopping and measuring to find a good solution.
      Good luck with your shopping, and I hope you find a good fit. Let us know how it goes, and we'll try to help if possible. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
