🔥🔥🔥🔥 Pro tip - separate the meat from the shell so it doesn’t stick like it did in the end. Just make sure to leave the last part by the tail fins attached
I’ll have to give that a try, Thanks!
But the flavour be missing???😢
I would say separate the meat from the shell but put the shell back on so you capture the flavor.
@@Sherlock245 The flavor of a 20$ homemade mac and cheese was going to get rid of it anyways.
@@iro9486 cringe
Pro Tip - Mixing oil with butter doesn’t change the smoking point of butter. That’s a myth. Simply cook at high temp with oil, then add butter towards the end for flavor at a lower temp, same as you would when searing and cooking a steak.
I hear you on the science that butters burning point can’t be difference. If you do it in practice you can tell that it does have an effect on it. I’m not sure if the oil is a barrier between the hot pan or not, but the butter definately doesn’t burn as easy. My chef taught me that trick years ago.
Please tell me where do you get the butter from
we get ours from Costco. But Irish gold at Kroger is the same thing.
@@TheUrbanHunter.you would be less likely to develop cancer using the other method though so that's why it's recommended as its also harder to mess up
@@infernaldaedra Cancer from butter?
Man…Out of all the ways I cooked lobster I’ve never cooked it like this. I’m going to try this very soon. Maybe with some pasta!! Thank you looks delicious. ❤❤
Can’t wait for you to try it. Let me know it goes!
We cook lobster in various ways in the Caribbean. Coconut curry lobster is probably my favorite. We're always packing our crayfish and other shell fish with flavor.
Sounds great! Thanks for the comment. We love all seafood in our home.
If you eat the same thing everyday, makes sense to get creative.
When you splurge to taste something every few months, you want to taste the meat, not the seasoning
Why coconut curry?? It will overpower the delicious flavor of that lobster 😅
Lol I was waiting for a comment like this cause there was absolutely no seasoning or flavour added here 😩 just butter
@@valdiviana1he's in the carribean so it's possibly not a luxury food like it would be at a landlocked place LMAO
It looks delicious ❤. Thanks for sharing love ❤️
Thanks!!
@@TheUrbanHunter. You’re welcome love ❤️
Oh lord, this looks so delicious. Can't wait to cook our lobsters. Love your channel❤
Thanks so much I really appreciate it!! Def have to try it. We try to eat this once a month at least.
I just cooked lobster tail for for the first time and it’s one of the first meats I’ve ever cooked and it turned out great thanks dude!
Loved reading this. Glad I could help my guy. Lobster has a lot of flavor even just in butter. We had it again this week
Seems easy, gonna try cooking Lobster tails🦞
Definitely try something new!
He is absolutely right. I've tried other ways. Most were very expensive failures. This one works.
Thanks!
The fact that your skillet has marks on it tells me that you cook COOK. Go ahead brother!
Thanks my guy 🤙🏻. She def gets the work.
😂😂
let's be real isn't it suspicious how they always use a fresh pan in all the shorts
@@infernaldaedraA pan will only get marks if you use a metal utensil on it. It's not a mark of being used or not. Don't do this on a non-stick pan, as you'll remove the protective enamel and it'll start sticking.
@@Tsusday even worse don't use non Stick at all it causes lung and brain damage
Great video brother It worked for me. I added some seafood seasoning and the lobster taste great and it didn’t take long to cook. Thanks
Glad to hear it my friend. Sometimes we use seasoning just depends on the dish. Seafood has great flavor.
I think it's missing something, maybe a little pepper. And lemon or orange for acidity and also might go well with lobster since it's a sea animal.
Sounds like all good suggestions!
Had me in the beginning there not gonna lie 😂
With what? Lol
@TheUrbanHunter. I thought it was gonna come out weird. I've never cooked lobster this way but it looks great.
I don’t see nothing wrong with the pan a Pan is a pan it’s going to cook regardless, But no seasoning? I can’t eat lobster whith just butter😂. But you know everyone got there on taste buds
Try the grass fed butter it has so much flavor!
@@TheUrbanHunter. I like a little grass fed salt with mine
Lobster really only needs butter, maybe a little lemon and pepper.
Love this 😊
Thanks!
Use clarified butter or ghee. It has a very high smoke point. Then add butter before serving.
Clarified butter is a good idea. We will give that a try.
Nice and simple ❤
Simple and delicious!
looks delicious I think i little bit to learn 😁👍
Gotta try it!
❣️❣️Add garlic to that butter and wow wow wow ❣️❣️
Sounds good!
Ok I gotta step up my butter game! Country crock is not it no more! Gotta try grass fed for cooking!
Ur lobstah looks delicious
Yeah leave country croc in the 2000’s my friend lol. Thanks!
Oh yeah, country crock, any kind of margarine,is trash. Real butter is actually better for your body anyway.
Looks good
Thanks!
Americans dont season food?
We def do! But this has so much flavor on its own with that butter 😛
lol!!!!
@@TheUrbanHunter. i see
AMERICA LOL
Not all of us are like this, I promise
Lobster is a delicate flavor, all it needs is maybe some butter and lemon. I don't know why a bunch of people in these comments think it needs to be seasoned. It doesn't. Leave the seasoning for shrimp. Shrimp can taste delicious with all kinds of different seasonings. Leave the lobster alone.
I know I have been as shocked as you were. My thoughts are the same
😋❤️
👍🏻
all the people saying WhErE's ThE sEaSoNiNg have never eaten lobster. Lobster needs NOTHING EXCEPT butter MAYBE parsley and lemon. And MAYBE garlic but jeez, those are really overkill. I just know that you've never had lobster if you think this needs seasoning. Plus he used salted butter so boom theres ur seasoning.
Thanks I needed this…
@@TheUrbanHunter. I bought lobster today and gonna cook it same way u did. I even happen to have the same butter u got lol
@@westonhood6277 you must shop at Costco. Let me know how it goes.
Make sure you don’t overcook it and it’ll be delicious. Seafood cooks fast. We made rubber a few times (we eat this about once a month).
@@TheUrbanHunter. was way more difficult than I expected. Threw 3 tails on, cooked, started eating, 1 was raw and had to throw it back on. The other two weren't raw but could use another 60 seconds on the heat. Not bad but I'm just gonna get the king crab next time. That's what I wanted but they ran out today.
@@westonhood6277king crab is my fav food. It’s crazy overpriced right now. But yeah seafood does get cold quick. Do you ever eat lobster? Maybe it wasn’t fresh? Sometimes I eat this and it’s the best thing ever and sometimes it’s pretty average. Sometimes depends if the lobsters just molted or not as well. If they’re about to molt they will have a thick piece of skin on the tail that’s pretty tough.
One of the only meats where I dont season it, just bathe in lemon garlic butter and enjoy
It has great flavor on its own! I agree!!
LOBSTER MAC!?!? I must make it!
I’m surprised by the amount of people in these comments that haven’t heard of that before. Gotta try it sometime!
🔥🔥
😎
No seasoning hu
Thanks for the comment, Joe. The butter and lobster flavor is plenty delicious on its own!
Black people over season everything
I'm black so I'm allowed to say it
❤🎉😊
😁
Nice feed 👌 🎉
Thanks!
I tried to feed my butter grass it just lay there and melted, what did I do wrong?
That’s it. You nailed it.
Grass fed butter.....ive officially seen it all now😂
Go to the store and see for yourself lol that’s what it’s called
So, butter is actually made from cream. Cream is a product produced by cows. And what do cows love to eat?
Thank you lol
He feeding grass butter 😂
You know grass fed butter is a thing right lol?
Just ordered 8 2.5 lb lobsters for my wife on Mother’s Day dinner. Planning on making it this way for sure.
Awesome. Let me know how it turns out. Don’t overcook!
I look everywhere and I can't find grass feed butter! Do u feed the butter grass?
Most groceries carry a brand or two. Irish gold I think it’s called is grass fed, Costco has their own brand. Kroger has it. I’m not sure where you’re located tho. Def should try it.
How long should i boil it first if i want to do both? Since im not experienced enough to use a knife. Id want to boil for a bit and then finish off in something else.
It’s an easy cut. Don’t think too much about it. Just use a strong sharp knife. I would either boil or pan sear. Not both. Let me know how it goes
I cook mine the same way except I add a lil salt
Yeah that sounds good. Our butter had a lot of salt in it so we held off on the extra.
Bro said GRASS FED BUTTER😂😂😂😂
It is grass fed butter lol. The cows are grass fed. You can really taste a difference. Try it and you’ll be convinced.
Same with King Crab Legs, no seasoning required. Steam’em and melt some Ghee butter on the side…all i need.
Absolutely. King crab is def my fav food
Pro tip - add seasoning. Salt, pepper, old bay
Sounds good!
Always steamed lobster first.
Steamed it before skillet? Interesting. I feel like it wouldn’t absorb as many juices that way..
Thanks for the comment!
Stay out of the kitchen please
🔥🔥🔥 Pro tip- Oil does not stop butter from burning. Dairy burns at 250° F. If you want to use butter, use clarified butter.
Lobster Mac looked good!
Thanks! Having done both, in my experience it does help with the burning point. Maybe just acts as a buffer in not sure. Learned it from a chef friend my mine
How long should this cook on the meat side? Trying a new recipe 😊 No idea why ppl are hating on your pan. I love my fave pans and they show it lol
Thanks! I did about 45 seconds on each side. Maybe a hair longer on the shell side. They cook quick and if you overcook them, it turns into rubber so don’t do that!
Who feeds butter grass. And how do you get butter to eat grass
Same way you’d imagine they do
Looks 🔥 too bad im allergic to lobsters
Poor guy :(
The butter eats grass?
Idk why people are getting so hung up on this lol. The vows that make the butter are grass fed…
@@TheUrbanHunter. They say vows before making this butter??? That's a commitment.
If people can’t connect the dots there that’s on them in my book 🤷🏻♂️
Can’t wait to eat this again, so good and so simple. Next time we’ll use our nicer pans☺️
Nice
So tasty
want a simpler recipe? eat it raw lol but no joke, lobster sashimi is delish
Maybe cause I don’t like Mc and cheese… I’ve tried many times but I can’t develop a taste for it the recipe was good though the frying that I’ll do thanks😊
That sounds tragic! I eat mac n cheese at least twice a week. Lobster plenty good on its own tho!
Pro Tip: Don’t put your skillets in the dishwasher, wash them by hand. That way they don’t look dirty when you make a cooking video.
Favorite pans only last so long!
Mantap
Saya suka
Thanks
Bland lobster with no seasoning
Lobster meat has a delicious flavor! Give it a try
That butter STANK!
It’s so good!
Unreal the hate this vid is getting in the comments from people who likely don’t even cook their own food. Great tips throughout looks awesome
Thanks 🇺🇸🤙🏻
Yum nonstick forever chemicals pan 😋
The best!
Pro Tip: Split and Devein your lobster tails, unless you want to use that as seasoning when you cook and eat them. 🤷🏾♂️
They were split and deveined.
Grilled based with butter
Yep!
Why did you not put any salt or butter for taste ?
It has plenty of butter in there. Salted butter. Cheers
What is a nutral cooling oil??
Oil that won’t pass on a flavor. Olive oil actually isn’t one of those.
All these white folk are saying thank you left and right with the garlic or pepper advice but that’s missing way more seasoning than just butter garlic and pepper.
Everyone has their preferences culturally I have found out. I enjoy the taste of the lobster just in butter. Sometimes it’s nice to add seasoning. All are good.
How long on meat side down?
Uhhh kinda depends on how big of a tail you got. 4-6 oz tail is day about a minute on each side. Maybe a hair longer on the shell side. Cheers
Do you cook them frozen or thawed?
Def thawed
Gotta throw in the parsley lol
Parsley doesn’t have a taste it’s just green lol
Where do you buy your lobster tails from?
Wish I had a better recommendation for you but here in Ohio, we’re far from the ocean. We do have a place in Columbus called Franks that gets stuff frozen and fresh as possible but it’s expensive. Sounds bad but whenever Kroger has them on sale that’s when we buy a bunch. I’ve seen it as cheap as 5 bucks a tail there. Balling on a budget until that UA-cam money starts rolling in!
I live no where near the ocean as well but, your Lobster Mac n Cheese looked so good it looked like you bought your Lobster somewhere near the ocean
Oh I appreciate that. Nope, just regular grocery store frozen lobster tails. Freezing seafood right when it’s caught usually keeps it pretty fresh for a while. Just make sure it doesn’t smell super fishy when you thaw it out or it might have been bad when it froze
Add garlic and chilli powder 🔥
Sounds good! We will give that a try
your favorite way maybe, but not the "best" way, the best way is to dive for a whole lobster yourself then steamed with butter for dipping, no seasoning needed folks.
I agree I think they taste great on their own. I have caught a lobster by hand and grilled it up before. That was always a life goal of mine.
I had no idea that Butter ate Grass... The more you know, I reckon...
Don’t blame me read the packaging
@@TheUrbanHunter. Ok.
Not even going to remove the bile vein 🤮
Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t. Not a huge deal 🤙🏻
Mixing butter and oil does not change the burn point. That's a myth. Use clarified butter which can go to 450
If you cook regular butter, it burns quickly. If you cook oil, it has a lot higher burning point. If you mix the two it definitely makes a difference. I’ve never used clarified butter so I can’t speak to that.
No garlic at least?!?? Goodness….
Butter was enough for us. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Garlic is pretty strong!
Everything was good until the macaroni and cheese in my opinion…
How about filling an half avocado with the lobster..
You can figure out with what sauce to mix in to it 😊
Haha. The Mac is optional!
Where is the seasoning? Just butter?
Just buddda
Butter is butter…
Trust me. I used to think so too. Now this is all we use. Way different flavor.
GRASS FED! PASTURE BUTTER IS FAR SUPERIOR! HAS A RICH FLAVOR.DOENT HAVE ALL THE UNWANTED MOISTURE LIKE CHEAP BUTTER.
Pro tip. Remove the shit vein and sack before cooking
She gone!
So, no seasoning at all?
Lobster has an enjoyable taste lol
How does butter eat grass?
Butter=cow cow=grass fed
Lol I know just messing around. I heard if you eat a cow that only eats grass It's still vegan too.
That math checks out to me’
that skillet needs to be buried in the backyard LMAO
It’s perfectly fine. You should see the skillets they have been using for years in restaurants and that will open your mind.
Having recorded this a year ago, the pan has since been retired.
I wish you would set some time aside to Season that dang Skillet of yours. Do the responsible thing dude. It's showing oxidation. 😒
I appreciate the concern lol. I worked in a restaurant for 6 years and I’m used to seeing worn out pans. You’ll be happy to hear that we have a new set of pans and this has been disposed of. Lol
No seasoning 😮
Lobster tastes good!
@@TheUrbanHunter. Absolutely but it still needs season, I think black and white folks have different taste buds lol lol! Black folks add lots of season and white folks sometimes don't add any. But it's all good, keep on keeping on
lol. I think it’s maybe more of a cultural thing. Meat has a flavor on its own (grass fed beef vs corn fed beef tastes noticeably different). I don’t mind seasoning on food sometimes, but I also enjoy the flavor of the meat and don’t want to disguise it too much. I still want to taste the lobster 🦞. Butter enhances that flavor. To each their own!
Where is the seasoning
We’re a butter family. I’ll have to try it with all these comments eventually.
Dude put oil in the pan before throwing butter in it. Hahahahaha!
Let's start by frying some butter...
Butter didn’t burn in the whole vid! Have fun w it my guy 🤙🏻
I feel responsible for you using grass fed butter
😶
Ummm he didn't add no seasoning to the lobster!! Put some garlic in the butter at leash😂😂
The butter enhances the flavor of the meat. Lobster meat tastes good! I don’t want to hide it.
Rookie
Liar
Grass fed butter is the game changer? Hahahahaha!!!!! It’s all the same bro butter and grass fed is all the same. Hahaha!!!
I see you haven’t don’t a taste test before. Night and day difference in taste my friend. Way more than grass vs corn fed beef.
@@TheUrbanHunter. I raise beef for a living dumb dumb
For the low price of 75 dollars you can make this at home!
That’s possible if you buy large lobsters. We live near Kroger and they sell them 6 bucks a tail. This was about 20-30 bucks of lobster.
@@TheUrbanHunter. omg I’m jealous, I just bought I think it was 1.5 pounds of lobster meat and it was literally like 75 dollars to make 1 pasta dish…. I was like next time I’ll just go out for dinner 🤷🏻♂️
Ouch! Hopefully they were some huge tails! Costco has good prices on big tails as well if you are close to
One.
That was Mac and noodles
*cheese
45 seconds a side isn’t long enough to cook shrimp. You lobster will be completely raw in the center.
They cook quick. Def don’t want to overcook them and end up with rubber.
No Mac n cheese, just butter and lemon squeeze
Love it both ways!
No seasoning 😢
Meat has flavor! Lol
45 seconds each side? I didn’t understand You said each one
Just depends how big your tails are. These ones are average size (4-6 oz) and need give or take 2 mins total. As long as the meat is white you’re good. If it’s clear still it’s raw.
WHAAAAAAAAAAA
Yes!
Did he say Lobsters or Shrimp lol 😂
🦞
I dare you to add seasoning. I bet it won’t kill ya
Believe it or not I used some fish seasoning yesterday and it was pretty tasty. I do enjoy the pure butter and lobster flavor but it’s very good seasoned as well.
Seasoning was absent in the making of this video😢
Butter and seafood are like pb&j. They taste fantastic on their own. Seasoning is good too tho sometimes!
Didn't pull the poop tube. Pass
Already pulled it
Then whats the point of boiling lobsters live if people cook obviously dead lobster tails all the time?
Can’t get any more fresh than still alive. On the tail are frozen.
Dude... Buy a new pan
She’s just fine the way she is 😄🔥🍳
Tht lobster Mac was sad 😢
Tasted pretty good just didn’t mix it in yet so people could see the lob
How does butter feed on grass hahahah
Butter = milk from cows
