I don’t think anyone believes me, but I think that Barry ended up in the Schumacher universe, because a lot of people hate that universe, just like Batman (George Clooney), probably Brandon Routh’s Superman too. Ezra’s Flash ended up there to basically kick him out of the DCEU that he’s been into the universe he belongs in. The Flash in the regular movie universe with Ben Affleck is probably still Ezra if not Grant now. I wish it would’ve been an additional scene showing Grant as the universe’s new Flash. That really would’ve been the money-making scene right there. But we’ll never know because they’re both done with the role. 🤷🏾♂️

I think because Flash tried to go back in time again to try and fix that too with him telling Aquaman that he was the same dude in every universe but Bruce Wayne was always a different guy
Finally saw this on Max, this movie was much smarter than the critics gave it credit for, told a great a story about overcoming childhood trauma and loss.
I feel like the ending with Clooney is saying that the flash is trapped in the Clooney verse and depending on how the movie does will determine if he is stuck there for good or if dc uses Ezra as DCUs flash

We probably won't see this one again as Gunn's DCU will be a wholly separate and new thing (disregarding the Suicide Squad, Team Peacemaker, and Waller who will have some faint memories of their past experiences). Momoa will probably be Lobo after this year ends

My only question.... While he was in the speed force, why didn't he get tired or hungry? Both Barry's kept going at it, while Dark Flash has been doing it for years?
I guess cause food is a running joke throughout the movie but barry has been trapped in the speed force before and nobody ever asks how did he eat in there lol. feeding off the energy of the speed force since he's literally at the source of his power I guess. It's like supergirl soaking in the sun and getting jacked in 2 seconds.
This is answered in the comics and I believe in the cw show that the speed force can sustain whoever is inside it while they are inside it. When he uses the speed force he is only tapping into it while he is in the chronobowl (stupid fucking name) he is IN the speed force itself and as such doesn’t need to eat and won’t age as long as he stays in it.

I honestly do NOT think Clooney is coming back as Batman. For one, George Clooney despised batman and Robin, and does not want to come back as Batman. And two, this was awhile ago, but when someone asked James Gunn if Clooney was coming back (due to a rumor going on), James Gunn said "absolutely not," or something among those lines, meaning that George is definitely not coming back. It's very possible that George being in the film was a gag, and possibly meant that Ezra's flash is trapped in the universe with George clooney's Batman.

I think George Clooney showing up is probably a gag lol. I honestly can't imagine George Clooney wanting to come back as Batman. That being said I understand why people will be disappointed with the gag, but I think it's freaking great.
Got a feeling if he does he’ll cameo as Bruce Wayne maybe retired from being Batman and just a mentor to the likes of Barry but after watching the movie I don’t think Andy Muschietti put that much thought into anything in this movie
They originally were going to have Keaton, but because they nuked the Batgirl movie they scrapped it. He was supposed to be her mentor and was a big part of it, but since the test audiences hadnt seen Flash yet they were super confused.
To be honest they should have Pattison at least even if just for a small glimpse, since his Batman is the only one that currently has a guarantee for a sequel.

The post credit scene with aqua-man is there to suggest that Batman was and will continue to be completely different characters in a variety of timelines; but Aqua-man stays pretty much the same (actor) going forward in the GunnDC-verse.
Watched it an hour ago, good and enjoyable movie. It did not, in fact, give DC a clean sheet by resetting the timeline. Had a blast watching the movie though.

I interpreted the ending as confirmation that Ezra's Flash is now converged into Clooney's timeline instead of the one he was in. From there DC can do a movie about rescuing him from that timeline or they can move on if they want. Probably depends on box office performance. This might be a really good way to write in Wally instead... the next movie could be about Barry mentoring Wally and end with him sacrificing himself to pass the torch to Wally (a la Crisis OIE) and uphold a more canon-adhering timeline. Despite the weak VFX I really loved this movie -- way more than I thought I would. I'm openly anti-snyderverse so I just want it (and everything related to it like Ezra) to disappear... but I have to concede Ezra killed it here. If they can write a proper iteration and depiction of Barry Allen I'd be okay with them continuing in the role. BUT if not, then please recast and start over. I completely hate the Snyderverse's take on Barry. And it's worth noting even though this iteration is improved it borrows heavily from Wally's character rather than Barry's. So.

The way I interpret it is there are 2 variants of the Burtonverse in the Multiverse and the 1 with Clooney at the end is from a variant where the Schumacher movies are still canon to the Burton ones and the version of Keaton we see in The Flash is a variant from another variant where the Schumacher movies aren't canon.
I love the idea that Ezra is lost in the multiverse and the DC universe reset means that everyone in the old universe is gone. We get a new complete set of heroes
Clooney's batman could be just a setup to a potential sequel, not necessarily the new DCU batman. It makes sense to me because we did see a lot of Barry develop and mature in ways but he really hasn't because he gave in and moved the cans around, resulting in clooney timeline. I'm all for a sequel and it's a perfect opportunity to bring in jeff dean morgan as flashpoint batman. Love to see bruce wayne try take down thomas wayne. Good batman vs bad batman and flash fix things while also taking on another threat.

I think I left the theatre confused, and I say that because Barry explicitly states to Auqaman in the post credit scene that he is the only Aquaman across all the universes. So I’m confused as to why they want Clooney in this movie (and considering they reshot) and phase out Michael Keton if there isn’t a potential future for that iteration of the character. I think we’re all confused and just need some clarification because I feel like there’s wayyyy more confusion at the end of the movie then the beginning 😂

Love your videos....Yes,I loved The Flash....I'm 72 and grew up with comics and super heroes...We didn't have the internet and youtube.The Advenures of Superman,Batman,the serials they would show at the movie theaters...I need more.
My personal viewing of the ending is kind of a ditching of that universe. Ezra, Clooney and Mamoa are still their respective superheroes, but they are all rumored to not exist in the new DCU. Ezra's likely to not come back, Mamoa is rumored to be Lobo and Clooney confirmed not to be Batman by Gunn. I think they're like "since we are restarting this universe, let's make a little gag", so the new DCU will be basically completely new.
Why would Barry decide to stay in Clooney’s universe if he could easily time-traveled back to his timeline? After all, he has learned that it's okay to let things go.

For me, Clooney symbolizes the effects of the Flashpoint are not done, and if you know the comics there's a few more hurdles coming the Flash's way. Suggesting that DCU hasn't finished resetting just yet. I'm expecting a Thawn at the end of Aquaman 2 as well as a new Flash, setting the Ezra flash trapped in a dead timeline at the hands of Thawn, for Thawn only to find that the Flash is another nexus point that can never be changed (Enter Gustin fingers crossed, and maybe Paradox too lol)
Why are people so adamant about bringing cw flash to the big screen? That show has been terrible after the first two seasons and Gustin's flash is a sappy babyman. CW has done only two decent DC shows Constantine and the first two seasons of Legends.

the specifics of what they were saying in the Ezra/Momoa scene is the key-- Barry says, "there were so many batmans"... my assumption is that somewhere between Clooney stepping out of the car and that bar scene, the real Bruce Wayne showed up on the timeline.
I think Flash is stuck in another timeline/universe. And he’s accepted his fate. After moving the cans to the top shelves. That way they don’t need to bring him back.
i like this head cannon, because James Gunn stated his new Superman will be way younger and with the rumors about Bradley Cooper recently turning down the batman role Gunn is obviously looking for someone to be slightly older than Superman, not a 60 year old batman who’s been active for over 30 years.

Clooney and Keaton played the same Batman in the same universe. That Bruce was also played by Val Kilmer. So I think theyre explaining how Clooney, Keaton, and Kilmer could all play the same person.

I really like the film, it was very entertaining and funny I several parts, I would’ve love to see a reversed flash hint but it’s all good. what I think is sad still is the reboot, we’ll have new actors to play the roles, I liked Ben Affleck as Batman, and Cavill as Superman but oh well …

Thought the movie was great, I can't understand why it flopped, regardless of what they are doing with the universe, it was a really good movie. Had nostalgia, great cameos, really engaging story (wasn't just obsessed with the mother, was also about fixing what he broke and people), heartbreaking as well, great acting.
this is my favorite DC movie but mostly because of nostalgia. Then again my second favorite is Batman VS Superman mostly because of how serious it is and how good Affleck Batman is. The Superman Cage cameo ALONE warrants watching this movie. So sad he nevet got to play the role but at least he named his son Kal El.
I really liked it! CGI was awful tho and I don't get why Barry as a kid changed clothes in the flashback. Was that a mistake or did he feel like changing clothes? Overall I think the 2nd and 3rd act were the best. I give it a 7/10.

Just saw The Flash, it is far from the "best comic book movie" as some say. If you're a comic purist then you are better off watching the animated Flashpoint Paradox, which this movie borrows some key points, but it goes haywire. Basically all the stuff you see in the trailers & TV spots are the main action sequences. Also the third act is where the cameos are. Hello Christopher, Nick, and George! 🤣
I think it would’ve been absolutely insane if Barry was the one to actually kill his own mom to maintain the timeline. Like, yes, by removing the canned tomatoes from her cart at the store led to her death, but what if he was actually the one who physically killed her in order for his future self to become himself. I feel like that’s something Snyder would do.

Actually Clooney being in the ending does not mean he's the dcu batman. It just means ezra's Barry is now in an alternate universe where Clooney is the batman . And he's more likely to just stay there and not try and go back to the original dceu timeline because his dad is proven innocent in the Clooney timeline unlike the OG dceu timeline. Also, the aquaman at the end isn't the same aquaman we saw in peacemaker for example . It's the aquaman that exists in the Clooney timeline. He is a drunk, on his own and isn't king of atlantis like he is in the OG dceu timeline. Basically confirming that Ezra's Barry stays in the Clooney timeline now . In that scene, Barry even says that in another timeline , while batman is different, aquaman still is Jason momoa . So that pretty much confirms that this is a different aquaman where he isn't king of atlantis since bro is out getting hammered at a bar dressed like aquaman in ZSJL instead of being king Arthur . They Basically have Ezras Barry just continue to exist in this new timeline where his dad is proven innocent but Gunn's dcu takes place in a diff timeline/universe entirely . It does reset the dceu as it sets up the existence of alternate timelines that exist at the same time so Ezras Barry continues to exist in this new timeline where clooney is batman , outside of the timeline where the new dcu will take place. The only weird thing in all this is what exactly is gonna happen in aquaman 2, a movie that is pretty much redundant now.

It seemed like the writers couldn’t decide if they wanted to do the multiverse thing or a time travel thing and they mixed the two together. In the beginning Barry traveled back in time to help his mom buy the tomatoes, this makes his dad stay home and his mom doesn’t have to die. So if Barry had successfully gone back to the present his mom would be alive, dad would not be in prison and he would not be the flash because he would never have become a csi and wouldn’t have gotten hit by lightning. Therefore, as soon as he put the tomatoes in the cart he would have ceased to exist in that moment. The Barry that became flash would instantly become a completely different version of himself living in 2023. Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the JL would still be the same people. But in the movie Barry is pushed out into a different universe (not a different point in time). He is not interacting with a younger version of himself that grew up with both parents. He is interacting with a totally different version of Barry. This is why Batman is a different Bruce Wayne and Superman is supergirl. It’s a different reality. Then Barry “fixes” the video of his dad by somehow making him look up at the camera, which doesn’t save his mom and wouldn’t change anything in the past of his reality but does help get his dad out of prison in the present. But this shouldn’t have had any impact on who Bruce Wayne is. So Barry must have come back to a completely different universe where his mom is dead, dad is in prison and he became a csi and the flash. But If it’s a different universe like the one we saw in the movie with the younger Barry then there would also be another Barry in this universe that occupies the same place in the world as the Barry we know. So what did Barry do about that guy? Did he murder Barry from the Clooney-verse and take his place? Or did the writers just get themselves confused and make a movie that contradicts itself? That would be pretty on-brand for DC. But I think they did this on purpose so the Barry we know can go on living in the Clooney-verse and DC can reboot the JL in the Afleck-verse we know without the flash altogether since Ezra lost his marbles and can’t be part of the cast moving forward. Maybe they’ll replace him with an Oliver Queen Arrow.

Actually in my head canon, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Ben Affleck are all the same iteration of Batman. In Batman and Batman Returns, Bruce Wayne has no qualms killing villains and enforcing his version of justice. In Batman Forever, gaining Robin as an ally forces him to try to put Dick on a different path, so he kills Two-Face (indirectly) so Robin doesn't have to, and then begins true justice by arresting his villains (Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane). By the time of Batman V Superman, Dick Grayson is dead, and Batman has gone back to his original brand of justice, him putting together the Justice League is what pulls him back to the "light" as it were.
I think Clooney is not the DCU Batman and this was just a gag but between this and the post credit scene and Jason Mamoa returning as Aquaman later this year I have to say.....why make it so darn confusing??
How sure are you that those tomatoes got put back on a higher shelf? My recollection is they went snugly alongside the other tomatoes. And even if he did, why would he reach for one can on the top when all the rest were down below? I certainly agree the film would’ve made way more sense of he did move the tomatoes. He should have done, but I don’t think he did.
Just watched here in Brazil and I loved! Really fun, good action and Ezra is really good CGI is the only downside but nothing that ruins the experience.Great hit from DC

Just watched it online. Happy I didn’t pay to see it, not even an accurate flashpoint story telling, little to no fighting at super speed, cgi was alright.

I kinda want to say they can have this Barry run through timelines where he gives himself up to another time line. One where he accepts his Moms death, but gets his dad out of jail and the world has a super man that doesn't Lose to Zod and there are super heroes like wonder woman an aquaman. given enough time you can find that time line. and this is where you can change actors but give them similar rolls.

TRAGIC that Nerds needed this "Ending Explained"... The DCEU failed.... badly. What BETTER WAY to put it out of its misery, then to bring in one of DC's most famous blunders... Mr. Bat Nipples himself, George Clooney. Who's also an A list movie star... and end the whole thing on a joke. It's the PERFECT ending to a cinematicu universe which never had a chance-- thanks to cocky, foolish, inept, overly-involved Studio Execs... AND partially responsible is Zack Snyder, who made all his films 5 hours long, forcing the Execs to trim them down (thus leaving out all its connective tissue, resulting in crap films). Aaaaaaaaaaanyway, glad it's over. I LOL'd & clapped in the theater when Clooney rolled up. A+

We probably won't see this one again as Gunn's DCU will be a wholly separate and new thing (disregarding the Suicide Squad, Team Peacemaker, and Waller who will have some faint memories of their past experiences). Momoa will probably be Lobo after this year ends

I guess cause food is a running joke throughout the movie but barry has been trapped in the speed force before and nobody ever asks how did he eat in there lol. feeding off the energy of the speed force since he's literally at the source of his power I guess. Keaton Batman modified Barry's suit to feed hot dogs into his anus whenever his calorie count dipped below 90.
This is answered in the comics and I believe in the cw show that the speed force can sustain whoever is inside it while they are inside it. When he uses the speed force he is only tapping into it while he is in the chronobowl (stupid fucking name) he is IN the speed force itself and as such doesn’t need to eat and won’t age as long as he stays in it.

I honestly do NOT think Clooney is coming back as Batman. For one, George Clooney despised batman and Robin, and does not want to come back as Batman. And two, this was awhile ago, but when someone asked James Gunn if Clooney was coming back (due to a rumor going on), James Gunn said "absolutely not," or something among those lines, meaning that George is definitely not coming back. It's very possible that George being in the film was a gag, and possibly meant that Ezra's flash is trapped in the universe with George clooney's Batman.

Just back from seeing it here in Ireland. Thought it was amazing. Loved how it didn't even feel like a multiverse film.
They originally were going to have Keaton, but because they nuked the Batgirl movie they scrapped it. He was supposed to be her mentor and was a big part of it, but since the test audiences hadnt seen Flash yet they were super confused.

The post credit scene with aqua-man is there to suggest that Batman was and will continue to be completely different characters in a variety of timelines; but Aqua-man stays pretty much the same (actor) going forward in the GunnDC-verse.

Watched it an hour ago, good and enjoyable movie. It did not, in fact, give DC a clean sheet by resetting the timeline. Had a blast watching the movie though.
It was very ambiguous with its reset. But it definitely did reset. If not they wouldn't have to confirm Aquaman stayed the same.

I interpreted the ending as confirmation that Ezra's Flash is now converged into Clooney's timeline instead of the one he was in. From there DC can do a movie about rescuing him from that timeline or they can move on if they want. Probably depends on box office performance. This might be a really good way to write in Wally instead... the next movie could be about Barry mentoring Wally and end with him sacrificing himself to pass the torch to Wally (a la Crisis OIE) and uphold a more canon-adhering timeline.
Despite the weak VFX I really loved this movie -- way more than I thought I would. I'm openly anti-snyderverse so I just want it (and everything related to it like Ezra) to disappear... but I have to concede Ezra killed it here. If they can write a proper iteration and depiction of Barry Allen I'd be okay with them continuing in the role. BUT if not, then please recast and start over. I completely hate the Snyderverse's take on Barry. And it's worth noting even though this iteration is improved it borrows heavily from Wally's character rather than Barry's. So.

The way I interpret it is there are 2 variants of the Burtonverse in the Multiverse and the 1 with Clooney at the end is from a variant where the Schumacher movies are still canon to the Burton ones and the version of Keaton we see in The Flash is a variant from another variant where the Schumacher movies aren't canon.

Clooney's batman could be just a setup to a potential sequel, not necessarily the new DCU batman. It makes sense to me because we did see a lot of Barry develop and mature in ways but he really hasn't because he gave in and moved the cans around, resulting in clooney timeline. I'm all for a sequel and it's a perfect opportunity to bring in jeff dean morgan as flashpoint batman. Love to see bruce wayne try take down thomas wayne. Good batman vs bad batman and flash fix things while also taking on another threat.

I think I left the theatre confused, and I say that because Barry explicitly states to Auqaman in the post credit scene that he is the only Aquaman across all the universes. So I’m confused as to why they want Clooney in this movie (and considering they reshot) and phase out Michael Keton if there isn’t a potential future for that iteration of the character. I think we’re all confused and just need some clarification because I feel like there’s wayyyy more confusion at the end of the movie then the beginning 😂

My personal viewing of the ending is kind of a ditching of that universe. Ezra, Clooney and Mamoa are still their respective superheroes, but they are all rumored to not exist in the new DCU. Ezra's likely to not come back, Mamoa is rumored to be Lobo and Clooney confirmed not to be Batman by Gunn. I think they're like "since we are restarting this universe, let's make a little gag", so the new DCU will be basically completely new.
Why would Barry decide to stay in Clooney’s universe if he could easily time-traveled back to his timeline? After all, he has learned that it's okay to let things go.
But Momoa can play Lobo though. When he handled his ring to Barry, it might be a sign that he is giving up his mantle as Aquaman.

For me, Clooney symbolizes the effects of the Flashpoint are not done, and if you know the comics there's a few more hurdles coming the Flash's way. Suggesting that DCU hasn't finished resetting just yet. I'm expecting a Thawn at the end of Aquaman 2 as well as a new Flash, setting the Ezra flash trapped in a dead timeline at the hands of Thawn, for Thawn only to find that the Flash is another nexus point that can never be changed (Enter Gustin fingers crossed, and maybe Paradox too lol)
Why are people so adamant about bringing cw flash to the big screen? That show has been terrible after the first two seasons and Gustin's flash is a sappy babyman. CW has done only two decent DC shows Constantine and the first two seasons of Legends.

the specifics of what they were saying in the Ezra/Momoa scene is the key-- Barry says, "there were so many batmans"... my assumption is that somewhere between Clooney stepping out of the car and that bar scene, the real Bruce Wayne showed up on the timeline.
I think Flash is stuck in another timeline/universe. And he’s accepted his fate. After moving the cans to the top shelves.
That way they don’t need to bring him back.

Thought the movie was great, I can't understand why it flopped, regardless of what they are doing with the universe, it was a really good movie. Had nostalgia, great cameos, really engaging story (wasn't just obsessed with the mother, was also about fixing what he broke and people), heartbreaking as well, great acting.
this is my favorite DC movie but mostly because of nostalgia. Then again my second favorite is Batman VS Superman mostly because of how serious it is and how good Affleck Batman is. The Superman Cage cameo ALONE warrants watching this movie. So sad he nevet got to play the role but at least he named his son Kal El.

Clooney played the role of Batman for the vision of the movie he was in. He’s a great actor that can handle the role that is going in a new direction.
I really liked it! CGI was awful tho and I don't get why Barry as a kid changed clothes in the flashback. Was that a mistake or did he feel like changing clothes? Overall I think the 2nd and 3rd act were the best. I give it a 7/10.

Just saw The Flash, it is far from the "best comic book movie" as some say. If you're a comic purist then you are better off watching the animated Flashpoint Paradox, which this movie borrows some key points, but it goes haywire. Basically all the stuff you see in the trailers & TV spots are the main action sequences. Also the third act is where the cameos are. Hello Christopher, Nick, and George! 🤣

This movie is also nowhere close to the comics for Flashpoint. There's so many different things.
Actually Clooney being in the ending does not mean he's the dcu batman.
It just means ezra's Barry is now in an alternate universe where Clooney is the batman . And he's more likely to just stay there and not try and go back to the original dceu timeline because his dad is proven innocent in the Clooney timeline unlike the OG dceu timeline.
Also, the aquaman at the end isn't the same aquaman we saw in peacemaker for example . It's the aquaman that exists in the Clooney timeline. He is a drunk, on his own and isn't king of atlantis like he is in the OG dceu timeline. Basically confirming that Ezra's Barry stays in the Clooney timeline now . In that scene, Barry even says that in another timeline , while batman is different, aquaman still is Jason momoa . So that pretty much confirms that this is a different aquaman where he isn't king of atlantis since bro is out getting hammered at a bar dressed like aquaman in ZSJL instead of being king Arthur .
They Basically have Ezras Barry just continue to exist in this new timeline where his dad is proven innocent but Gunn's dcu takes place in a diff timeline/universe entirely . It does reset the dceu as it sets up the existence of alternate timelines that exist at the same time so Ezras Barry continues to exist in this new timeline where clooney is batman , outside of the timeline where the new dcu will take place.
The only weird thing in all this is what exactly is gonna happen in aquaman 2, a movie that is pretty much redundant now.

It seemed like the writers couldn’t decide if they wanted to do the multiverse thing or a time travel thing and they mixed the two together. In the beginning Barry traveled back in time to help his mom buy the tomatoes, this makes his dad stay home and his mom doesn’t have to die. So if Barry had successfully gone back to the present his mom would be alive, dad would not be in prison and he would not be the flash because he would never have become a csi and wouldn’t have gotten hit by lightning. Therefore, as soon as he put the tomatoes in the cart he would have ceased to exist in that moment. The Barry that became flash would instantly become a completely different version of himself living in 2023. Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the JL would still be the same people. But in the movie Barry is pushed out into a different universe (not a different point in time). He is not interacting with a younger version of himself that grew up with both parents. He is interacting with a totally different version of Barry. This is why Batman is a different Bruce Wayne and Superman is supergirl. It’s a different reality. Then Barry “fixes” the video of his dad by somehow making him look up at the camera, which doesn’t save his mom and wouldn’t change anything in the past of his reality but does help get his dad out of prison in the present. But this shouldn’t have had any impact on who Bruce Wayne is. So Barry must have come back to a completely different universe where his mom is dead, dad is in prison and he became a csi and the flash. But If it’s a different universe like the one we saw in the movie with the younger Barry then there would also be another Barry in this universe that occupies the same place in the world as the Barry we know. So what did Barry do about that guy? Did he murder Barry from the Clooney-verse and take his place? Or did the writers just get themselves confused and make a movie that contradicts itself? That would be pretty on-brand for DC. But I think they did this on purpose so the Barry we know can go on living in the Clooney-verse and DC can reboot the JL in the Afleck-verse we know without the flash altogether since Ezra lost his marbles and can’t be part of the cast moving forward. Maybe they’ll replace him with an Oliver Queen Arrow.

I think flash talking about 'all these batmans' in the post credit scene suggests the batman was once again changed from george clooney
That’s exactly what I thought. It seems clear that he went back to his original timeline. I thought it was pretty self explanatory.

Actually in my head canon, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Ben Affleck are all the same iteration of Batman. In Batman and Batman Returns, Bruce Wayne has no qualms killing villains and enforcing his version of justice. In Batman Forever, gaining Robin as an ally forces him to try to put Dick on a different path, so he kills Two-Face (indirectly) so Robin doesn't have to, and then begins true justice by arresting his villains (Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane). By the time of Batman V Superman, Dick Grayson is dead, and Batman has gone back to his original brand of justice, him putting together the Justice League is what pulls him back to the "light" as it were.
I think Clooney is not the DCU Batman and this was just a gag but between this and the post credit scene and Jason Mamoa returning as Aquaman later this year I have to say.....why make it so darn confusing??

How sure are you that those tomatoes got put back on a higher shelf? My recollection is they went snugly alongside the other tomatoes. And even if he did, why would he reach for one can on the top when all the rest were down below?
I certainly agree the film would’ve made way more sense of he did move the tomatoes. He should have done, but I don’t think he did.

Just watched here in Brazil and I loved! Really fun, good action and Ezra is really good
CGI is the only downside but nothing that ruins the experience.Great hit from DC

The movie is all over the place. Really just a joke, there is no excuse for a movie of that budget to have those horrible effects.
One thing that I feel like hasn't been mentioned is that the flash is not in his original universe, like the last universe he went to there must be another Barry Allen.

Just watched it online. Happy I didn’t pay to see it, not even an accurate flashpoint story telling, little to no fighting at super speed, cgi was alright.
I'm a 72 year old that grew up with super heroes,LOVED Michael Keaton in this, and all the other spots of our old friends.....I'm Batman,indeed...I loved it.
This might be very problematic, but I want Miller to stay as The New DC universe Flash, he's really likeable and my favorite Flash

Just saw the movie, bruh its confusing, 6/10.
I kinda want to say they can have this Barry run through timelines where he gives himself up to another time line. One where he accepts his Moms death, but gets his dad out of jail and the world has a super man that doesn't Lose to Zod and there are super heroes like wonder woman an aquaman. given enough time you can find that time line. and this is where you can change actors but give them similar rolls.
After 100 Batman reboots, they decided to give us a new one (even though we already have one) they chose to go back to George Clooney 🤦♂️. I actually face palmed so hard when he showed up

Are you all sure you've seen the film? Barry literally told Arthur that "how many times he went back and came back it was a different Batman" but not the original one. Clooney definitely isn't the new one. Just watch the after credits please.

TRAGIC that Nerds needed this "Ending Explained"... The DCEU failed.... badly. What BETTER WAY to put it out of its misery, then to bring in one of DC's most famous blunders... Mr. Bat Nipples himself, George Clooney. Who's also an A list movie star... and end the whole thing on a joke. It's the PERFECT ending to a cinematicu universe which never had a chance-- thanks to cocky, foolish, inept, overly-involved Studio Execs... AND partially responsible is Zack Snyder, who made all his films 5 hours long, forcing the Execs to trim them down (thus leaving out all its connective tissue, resulting in crap films). Aaaaaaaaaaanyway, glad it's over. I LOL'd & clapped in the theater when Clooney rolled up. A+

wait, didn't Barry tell Jason Momoa that he has seemingly jumped to multiple timelines and, while every Batman is different, Aquaman seems to be the exact same in every world(?) So.. of course, Clooney is just a gag.. but we possibly not gonna see Jason as the new Lobo(?)
