Speeding bullet has momentum, especially with how its shaped. I think its supposed to release that it takes more than guesswork and intuition to be the flash. You have to understand physics on a whole different level. Kinda how people automatically assume weight affects gravity. Also this is young Barry, he couldn't even shift through the manhole cover without coaching.
Damn. Almost none of these deserved to be deleted. Either hilarious or very revealing. I realized after rewatching that the initial movie probably had Keaton being brought into the DCU as Batman post-flashpoint instead of the Clooney gag; assuming the story with his child would’ve been included as well but didn’t get filmed. Thanks for the upload
Most of the humor attempts were Miller being super annoying. Heck he annoyed himself in the context of the film. I can see why they cut these out. Editing isn't about keeping all the "cool stuff". Sometimes you have to cut the best parts for the sake of the story and pacing to work.
Yes. Essentially, the original ending had Ben Affleck's Batman erased from existence and replaced by Keaton. Then James Gunn happened, and that was scrapped. Unfortunately so, in my opinion.
It's cool how they got the same stunt double to portray both Barry versions. The scenes with both Barrys conversing were the most convincing special effect setup in the movie. Especially in contrast with some of the time travel chrono-theater scenes.
people were so quick to trash talk about bad cgi but nobody could tell which of the Barry's face was cgi. The best effects are those that are completely indistinguishable.

I don't see an extended cut coming. They cut their losses a year before the film hit the theaters. The FX looking like a playstation 2 game footage at parts and his rescuing plastic babies kinda screams that. They just got it out so they could do a soft reboot of the DCU
I hope to see one day all the deleted scenes including the original ending with Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle in Barry’s new timeline. Also the reshoot with Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot that James Gunn and Peter Safran ordered to cut from the film
I feel like the end credit scene with Aquaman was left over from one of those other endings cause what Barry is trying to explain to him is totally different from what happened
Well, it was due to a number of factors; not the least of which was Ezra Miller's bizarre, dangerous behavior, especially concerning women, the decline of the DCEU, word of mouth, etc. The film was doomed from the start.
@@comyxcon4gaming860 - 100%. There's a case to be made that this film was never going to turn out good. It was in development hell for years, initiated near the onset of the Snyderverse and likely kept getting pushed back/rewritten based on public sentiment about the DCEU through its various films. The final product doesn't know whether it wants to be an origin story, a sequel, a prequel, a reboot or a pseudo-finale to the entire DCEU. They played with so many ideas in this, some of which could have turned out extremely well if they coalesced better, but threw it all together into (to quote this version of Keaton Batman) a "hot mess" that just seems to veer from one story idea to another without ever pausing to let the audience get invested (or care) in any of it.
@@crazyrabbits It makes one wonder why they even bothered when the DCEU was gonna get rebooted anyway. Waste of time, talent, and money even though I enjoyed Michael Keaton as Batman; which was the ONLY good thing about it.
@@comyxcon4gaming860 - AFAIK, it kept getting hyped up by the Tsujihara regime, who was dead-set on getting it pushed through production. By the time Walter Hamada took over, they were already knee-deep in development and had already filmed at least one post-credit scene (the one where Barry learns that Affleck's Batman is trapped in an alternate universe). The original ending was supposed to tie into a revamped DCEU timeline that combined elements of both the original universe and the post-Flashpoint changes, which would have been seen in Batgirl -- JK Simmons still shows up as Commissioner Gordon, but Keaton's Batman is still present. (AFAIK, this change was never really adequately explained, which is likely a reason for it being scrapped.) And FWIW, I didn't like this version of Keaton's Batman, who's such a contradiction (even for an AU Batman) that trying to reconcile it with the '89 films is crazy. Keaton still fits into the suit masterfully, but the tonal whiplash of the character is a mess. He keeps having these pratfalls and comical moments occur (flies into a pantry of vegetables during his opening scene, is shown trying to hack Russian tech with a modified flip phone [necessitating Barry II to intervene[, making weird gags like the "how much do you weigh" joke, and giving groaners like the "wanna get nuts" line), and it doesn't really fit with what the tone of the film is going for.
The one about Batman killing the guy and the one where other Barry talks about how he might be in love with Supergirl add so much contest to the movie and the motivations of the characters.
you already get him liking her when she's flying next to the plane and he says something about their children. Even without these two scenes you'd have to be a moron not to know that he was smitten with her
But it doesn't come across as a genuine earned statement. At least this deleted scene added a little gravitas and actually built on this Barry's mentality. Just a little added touches can make a whole lot of difference. - James D. Watkins, artistic director of Phoenix Productions.@@Necrowolf81
Kinda wish they showed this part because I've always wanted to see what happened if a speedster failed to phase through something. Like would it explode? Would they get stuck. Would they get cut in half or something? I've always wanted to know this up till now. Im so glad tbis deleted scene finally shows us viewers what would happen if a speedster failed to phase through something correctly. 6:10
Did you watch the CW show? Barry's phasing ability goes wack in one episode and has to phase his way through the floor into the cell. In that show they speculate if he didn't phase right he could cut himself in half. That was the TV show. Here in that scene at 6:10 you would think the manhole would cut him in half. To be honest it should have but that would of been pretty dark to have him just die right there or at least get morbidly injured would be just as dark.
@@YoonSooSuh I mean yeah, I've seen that in season 5 when Barry and Nora were chasing after this car that had dark matter and when he tried to phase through it it made his phasing go into overdrive and he couldn't turn it off. However, they never actually SHOW what would happen. Theoretically they say they would be cut in half or something or just get stuck or explode the object they tried phasing through. The closest we've gotten to seeing that happen is when Kid Flash from the comics couldn't phase yet and made things explode when he tried.
I'm glad they cut the scene about Batman accidentally killing someone in front of a kid. In the movie they say that Gotham City crime was reduced to practically zero percent and that's why he eventually retired. I'm so tired of movie sequels giving our heroes sad lives. I'm glad the actual final movie didn't do that
At 1:36 you can see a pink sign in the background on the left that says lost 1968 in white, and found 2019 in black. I’m assuming it says 2019 because that’s when the movie was originally supposed to release, and they didn’t change it because it’s an unfinished scene
You know, that was a good point about how Bruce knew about time travel in such detail. 🤔 ...what if the "Bruce" in this movie was also a time traveler version like Barry himself? Though it seemed he was a classic Tim Burton Batman, that world was NOT a Tim Burton-esque time period ... which means... Michael Keaton Batman is still alive! 😱

I can honestly hear the cheap laugh track for every middle school joke. The only deleted scene I found interesting was Young Barry falling for Supergirl. When the two of them are serious not making dick jokes, it makes the movie so much better for that short period of time. It's really sad they felt they had to appeal to such a younger audience.
Thanks for this. In the apartment, they established that Flashpoint movies star different actors. So, in the last scene of this video, Flashpoint Barry should've said the "Tim Robbins movie...where he electrocutes people...". Obviously, Tom Hanks would've been in the Shawshank Redemption, in Flashpoint.
I don´t think the bullet coud have pierced the shovel so easily, at least not without changing trajectory. Anyway I like that they adressed the fact that the bullet is not moving slowly, it is in fact moving really fast and it has high inertia therefore it cannot be easily moved like they did in X-Men:DOFP where Pietro just moved bullets pushing them with one finger.
the greatest tragedy of 2023 was knowing *WE HAVE MICHELLE , WE HAVE MIKE and these idiots couldnt even give us a BURTON APPROVED - DIRECTED FINALE for his saga* have you seen michelle ... thats perfection
I bet the alternate endings are either gonna get leak in the future or released in some special blue ray aniversary edition 10 years from now (if phisycall media is still a thing, which i hope).
It's really clear to me that Barry was original meant to kill his mother. The flashback alludes to her murder being strange and they never found the killer, in the flashback It's a strange bang sound and the killer left no trace. Would have been way too dark, but having Barry constantly talk about a can of tomatoes being the crux of the film and saving his dad in court was way too kiddy. Shame they couldn't find a middle ground. Maybe Barry just watches the murder instead and doesn't stop it. Then he could tall with Bruce about that, watching parents die.
also I just realised how odd it is that when he goes back in time to save his mom he just moves a can of tomatoes. He doesn't wait at the house to defend his mom from the attacker. What if the attacker came to the house and his dad's there, and they just killed both of them?
@@Ed-hh5dpOh boy, let me tell you about a Flash TV show that solves all those questions. But in all seriousness, the weight of a tiny action can significantly change the future, called the butterfly effect. It's the reason why something as small as a can of tomatoes is important. If the father was there, he'd just be beaten up and sent to prison since the killer has always been the Reverse Flash. Zack Snyder originally planned for the whole DCEU to be the creation of the Reverse Flash, just to torture Barry into creating Flashpoint. The Reverse Flash sat back, sipped some wine, and watched Barry do all this to himself. Because what else is sweeter than making someone you hate fall to their own demise?
I really hope that James Gunn builds up the DCU, to crisis on infinite earths. That way you can bring back Keaton again Bring back Ben Affleck Bring back Henry Cavill and Gal, maybe even have an animated Justice League Cameo, as a joke
All of these scenes would’ve made the whole movie 10x better. Especially the flashtime scene with the bullet. Barry didn’t build up enough kinetic energy as the bullet so he couldn’t move it. All of them should’ve been in there IMO

This movie 100% has a great alternate version like Kingdom of Heaven or Batman Forever. It's very noticeable, he's too fast. There are so many amazing deleted scenes to show. Original ending, epic post-credits scene with Affleck, moments with Keaton's Bruce, flashback after RETURNS, moment with Supergirl's ship, more brutal battles with Supergirl. You don't need to include detailed points from this video. This movie has an alternate version with 30-45 minutes of NEW scenes that show the characters better. Andy even said about 4 hour version. I guarantee it. WE MUST TO SEE ULTIMATE CUT
Its interesting to see that middle portion of cgi development to me, to see the work that they have to do to get it to look good. I found this video informative and entertaining.

@@Gotham1230 It makes sense. He wants to start somewhat fresh. Of course some actors are remaining.
only one scene deserved to be kept. It this garbage is what you call hilarious I bet you are extremely annoying
@@kickass2117 a scene of the final fight, when they finish making their initial plan in the middle of the battle field and are facing each other, one of the barry's face below the cowl, jaw down, looks like its floating and has a blue hue. 1 of my 2 big annoyances. the speed force stuff was fine.
The "Do we love her?" scene had me crying laughing. 😂
Same 🤣 bro said ouuuuuu

That was a cringe to me
would love to see the cut Batfleck & Cavil scenes + Keaton at end of courthouse.
I really don't see why any of this was deleted. All of it was really cool action scenes, funny moments between Older Barry and Younger Barry, and some plot progression.

This is amazing. So sad that they will never release the alternate endings tho.
Usually in old movies at the end of it, they always at bloopers to it
I hope they do
They did is dirty by that. I think Gunn absolutely wants to get rid of Snyderverse asap. Could have at least let the universe wrap up. But I understand it. I know plenty of people are going to respond back with DCEU is bad, Gunn did the right thing etc etc. That’s fine.
@@jgordon1374 actually Gunn cancelling the beyond project on his arrival (2022) and creative decisions over DCEU movies ended up killing everything unnecessarily as well… the dcu is his universe… not the dceu, and they’re separate universes so..
what alternate endings?
Hopefully we'll get a extended cut with the deleted scenes, they're all very good!
lol dream on. Those scenes aren't even finished yet and they are not gojng to spend money on this failure to finish them
Not the one with the laundry bag. Cutting that scene was definitely the right call.
Extended version and alternative endings
,
the slow mo bullet scene was really cool ! I hope we get an extended cut with all deleted scenes and some of the cgi fixed.. but i doubt theyd do that much efffort with the whole flop thing, but overall this is one of my all time fav hero movies.
I don't see an extended cut coming. They cut their losses a year before the film hit the theaters. The FX looking like a playstation 2 game footage at parts and his rescuing plastic babies kinda screams that. They just got it out so they could do a soft reboot of the DCU
Look into fan edits
@@Lifesizemortal where?
Keaton was the only reason I went to see this. And he didn’t let me down!
You're really delusional
I hope to see one day all the deleted scenes including the original ending with Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle in Barry’s new timeline. Also the reshoot with Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot that James Gunn and Peter Safran ordered to cut from the film
I'd rather see a real Supergirl than that fake ass one that was in this movie
@@Necrowolf81Wdym a real Supergirl?

I feel like the end credit scene with Aquaman was left over from one of those other endings cause what Barry is trying to explain to him is totally different from what happened
Man I loved this movie so much, it makes me so sad that it underperformed
I agree😢
(AFAIK, this change was never really adequately explained, which is likely a reason for it being scrapped.)
And FWIW, I didn't like this version of Keaton's Batman, who's such a contradiction (even for an AU Batman) that trying to reconcile it with the '89 films is crazy.
Agreed💯
you already get him liking her when she's flying next to the plane and he says something about their children. Even without these two scenes you'd have to be a moron not to know that he was smitten with her
@@Necrowolf81Here here!
But it doesn't come across as a genuine earned statement. At least this deleted scene added a little gravitas and actually built on this Barry's mentality. Just a little added touches can make a whole lot of difference. - James D. Watkins, artistic director of Phoenix Productions.@@Necrowolf81
These scenes are so good and actually really funny. They should've kept them
Damn, Keaton looks amazing as Batman.
You should really check out his other 2 batman movies😆

Should not have deleted a single batman scene

people be like "I don't like you calling me a bitch but I'm going to be one just because you called me one"
Arrrgggg!! Many of these scenes make more sense that the ones we got in the Final Cut
The closest we've gotten to seeing that happen is when Kid Flash from the comics couldn't phase yet and made things explode when he tried.
it happens in the film tho, that’s why barry 2 gets the sharp objects stuck in him

I like the stand in Barry actually
Never confuse motion with action would have been a great philosophy to take to the action scenes in this movie.
makes more sense when you think about snyder movies tbh
Andy Muschietti should go full Blade Runner with this movie and its alternate scenes.
I'm glad they cut the scene about Batman accidentally killing someone in front of a kid.
In the movie they say that Gotham City crime was reduced to practically zero percent and that's why he eventually retired.
I'm so tired of movie sequels giving our heroes sad lives.
I'm glad the actual final movie didn't do that
1 This is not a sequel. Just a random trash nostalgia bait movie. 2 This is a variant. 3 He lived a sad pathetic lonely life in his own mansion lol
I wish they kept that scene where the two Flash's talked about more of Michael keaton's Batman origen....And also the tmnt 3 refrence was pretty cool
i wish they kept the scene where young barry simps for supergirl but made it a little less weird, they had some chemistry
Best and most relevant deleted scenes I've seen in 10 years
At 1:36 you can see a pink sign in the background on the left that says lost 1968 in white, and found 2019 in black. I’m assuming it says 2019 because that’s when the movie was originally supposed to release, and they didn’t change it because it’s an unfinished scene
You know, that was a good point about how Bruce knew about time travel in such detail. 🤔
...what if the "Bruce" in this movie was also a time traveler version like Barry himself?
Though it seemed he was a classic Tim Burton Batman, that world was NOT a Tim Burton-esque time period ... which means... Michael Keaton Batman is still alive! 😱
Man, the Batfleck chase scene looked better without the CGI. A lot of the movie looks better without CGI.😆
Who else came here looking for the Michael Keaton alternate ending?

Also have been waiting for this anyway since it's my favourite film of the year, so I'm happy with more😂(I genuinely thought the petite clip was in the film, sad its not)
These are great scenes tbh. Wish a lot was left in or a directors cut
honestly, they did a really good job with double ezra face, I could not tell which one is CGI fairly often
Barry 2 falling in love at first sight, for zero reason, with Supergirl and making that the motivation of Old Barry 2 to turn evil is soooo bad
After watching these deleted scenes, I'd say that this film needs a director's cut, and with less CGI.
Barry goes off on how beautiful Kara is, and I wonder how he'd react if she said she heard him. He isn't exactly quiet...
Most of these should have been in the film. The main scene that should have been cut from the film was the museum scene.
Dude 103 scene really tell u why he so desperate want to save supergirl and they delete that

James had nothing to do with it, stop hating...
@@Ed-hh5dp The director aluded that Reverse flash was the killer, and that's why they didn't show it, so they can have a plot point for the sequels.
"Is Superman petite?" 😂

All of these scenes would’ve made the whole movie 10x better. Especially the flashtime scene with the bullet. Barry didn’t build up enough kinetic energy as the bullet so he couldn’t move it. All of them should’ve been in there IMO
Yeah but any disruption to its path would slow and or kill its momentum. The scene needed to be deleted or reworked
@@Michael-mt6yb Well he didn't have enough kinetic energy to stop its momentum. he stood still for most of the time, + that barry just got his powers

I don't know, the first hour and 15 minutes of The Flash look great. But after it, movie feeling like very cutted.
