Police should consider everything she accuses her husband of doing as confessions of her own behaviour. That’s how psychos and narcissists tend to work
Correct, speaking from vast experience, I can attest that their projection is most certainly a subtle form of confession.
Yep. They confess through slander of the true victim.
Well…seems she gave the name….
PROJECTION IS RIGHT!!! 😝
This dudes first wife cheated on him? Clearly he didn’t learn his lesson. The second wife was even worse.
how do people think they can so easily murder someone in this day and age.
She goes from a Home Depot clerk to a million dollar home flipper, and she’s not been financially dependent on her husband???

There were emojis, too, believe it or not.
She wrote it behind a screen. Lori Daybell did it right to investigator's faces. Wth is wrong with these people?!
I've actually noticed that narcissistic/ psychopathic people inevitably slip up. As much as they try their best to act in a way that they think is normal, they ALWAYS give themselves away in the little details such as the one you mentioned.
She's a maniac! Telling the investigator what to do is going too far. It smells fishy and obviously it was
Homicidal maniac.

She is covering her tracks or she thinks she is!
As the host said, over explaining things. She thinks she can control the narrative. Loved the investigators response though 😂 He's like...yeah ok, thanks for the essay. I'll go with where the evidence leads me, thank you very much.
you can tell she's gotten by by lying her ass off her whole life and has this delusion that she can lie her way out of everything
Delete the second by and use a comma, I believe.
Very similar to Lori
Couldn’t agree more
Her last paragraph is the most telling. "I just want you to leave me alone and have everything go back to the way it was."
Her letter shows her narcissism. She’s trying desperately to control the police and what they do- she’s a total control freak. Also her referring to the police as “you guys “ is her way of dissing them. She thinks she’s superior to them.
Absolutely
The term “narcissism” seems to get thrown around quite a bit m, considering it is supposedly rare.

Unfortunately, narcissism isn’t actually rare.

I mean, please make it make sense? I guess I find your general sentiment and the linguistics used strange seeing as murder|ng your spouse is frowned upon, despite being a man or woman.

Wow it's like she has verbal diarrhea on paper. When someone yaks too much, it automatically alerts any investigator. It's all about her. Classic type of person who can't be quiet.

Meh. That opinion can go either way. Liars can talk themselves into more trouble. True. Truthful people can also talk themselves out of trouble. The truth wins out as long as no corruption is involved. I've been thru a very contentious civil lawsuit with a fair amount on the line. You couldn't get me to shut up. Because, I knew the truth and spoke it. With that being said... People read people wrong all the time. But, honesty and pragmatic analysis of said words..usually wins out.
Well, after watching true crime , guilty or not I have come to realize silence is indeed golden. As long as you don't say anything nobody can use that against you.

The part that stood out to me the most was that she said she was "looking over her shoulder", that to me is very strange because you shouldn't be looking over your shoulder if you've got nothing to hide. In this kind of situation. I could see people being paranoid and looking over their shoulder if they're leaving an abusive relationship or they're feeling threatened but she's feeling threatened here and it doesn't make sense why.

Yes, but they’re able to do tests on the hair (during autopsies too) and can see if someone’s been using any drugs over time, so they can see the difference between someone who has taken it long term, regularly, or not until they od’ed. as well as if they’re a heavy user I believe

It's so important to have this insight into psychopaths. They are among us and they look like us - not only that, they are often attractive, magnetic to be around, and instill in you the sense that you want to be their friend. I was at University with one such man who ended up killing his entire family and then thinking he would blame it on his wife as a "suicide". He was completely convincing and none of us believed he was guilty until the trial.
There is a real danger to the comment the guest made (and Vinny ageeed with) about people rambling and over- explaining things: this is a common habit for some with ADD/ADHD symptoms. It is very challenging for some of us to organize our thoughts. We tend to over-analyze (also common amongst anxiety sufferers) and provide unnecessary details because we think every single detail is important.
Edit: For those of you who had to rudely comment to demonstrate how superior you are, my point was that Vinny and his guest were stating that Khouri was rambling and overexplaining things and somehow anyone who does this is showing signs of guilt. There are people with disabilities where rambling and overexplaining is something they live with everyday and we are not all guilty. I have lived through this and it's MY experience. So stop putting words into my mouth and stop harrassing me and others that live with this.
As long as anyone with ADD/ADHD doesn’t kill anyone. They will be fine. This over explaining from Kouri only adds to the other evidence that makes her look guilty
What he said makes sense when it comes to this situation
You're definitely not wrong there and that did cross my mind also. She does sound like many women do though. Details are our thing, especially women who run a household with young kids and a full time business. It's easy enough for the defense to look at her texts and emails to see if that's how she usually communicates.
If you watch a lot of interrogations and guilty defendants on the witness stand, you'll understand the difference in what you are referring to, and over explaining in the attempt to convince others you are being truthful.
There's also a big difference in the way a narcissist tries to convince someone of their innocence and how someone who's just guilty of the crime tries to lie. This lady will be the type that takes the stand in her own defense.
@Nightporter She sounds like a 7-yo covering her naughty behavior. A bad liar.

If anything, Narcissis should learn that these detectives will go to every single length they can to gather information about what happened, and the narcissist is overconfident, and will never be as smart is the legal system
I would bet that you can’t even explain to me what narcissism is and what it entails to be considered one without googling it and definitely not in your own words. This is just everyone’s new favorite “buzzword” and they don’t even understand what it means, what it is or who it applies too and it’s very annoying to see people try to apply it to every single shitty person and the term DEFINITELY gets overused and thrown around needlessly in murder cases where it doesn’t apply to the perpetrator at all.
@@bradenharris8718 Calm down, no point in getting your nuts in an uproar, don’t make anything more of the description Narcissis, it’s no big deal, it’s just a garden variety word that describes a self-centered person who has a sense of their importance, if not in reality definitely in their mind, the same way society has taken to using words like vehicle or Kleenex.
