  • Accused murderer #KouriRichins is now also accused of witness tampering. Prosecutors claim deputies searched Richins' cell block and found a letter instructing Richins' brother to lie in court, among other evidence. Richins awaits trial in the death of her husband. The state claims she killed him with a lethal dose of fentanyl. After his death, Richins wrote a children's book on grief. #CourtTV breaks down the evidence.

It chills me that she is doing that "look at the passed out pictures of him on my phone" tactic. My husband works his ass off and falls asleep with the kids in all sorts of places, playing on the floor, reading in a chair, watching movies together. For her to use those intimate, tired out, hard working dad moments for her own sick benefit is nauseating. This man was a stone mason! I hope those boys get the love and therapy they will most certainly need after this demon ruined their lives.

Makes one wonder why Amber Heard was taking all those pics of JDepp asleep in chairs or having 'nodded off' with ice cream running down his legs.Perhaps they take those pics to show the person was at risk of a lethal overdose. Not that this applies to him but when you are living with an addict or have one you are very close with in the family or even a good friend you take pictures because they nod out all the time and they DO NOT believe they are doing it. It will happen in mid conversation! They will be smoking a cigarette and nod off and burn themselves or furniture nod off while driving! And yeah you take pictures and videos to show them in hopes that they will be disgusted and get help. Nodding off and passing out is not the same as falling asleep for those of you who don’t know it’s totally different. I was very naïve in my 20s my husband worked his butt off doing drywall and he would pass out sitting on the floor smoking a cigar or cigarette and burn himself or the carpet and I’d think ohhh my poor husband works so hard.. he was on opiates!! Haa found out years later when it got really bad!

It’s not easy to put a spouse out of the home during divorce litigation. The real question is why was she procuring fentanyl and moving large sums of money out of his bank accounts.
Her phone proved she was active on her phone before and after his death, not in her child’s room for a nightmare.
The nightmare was a greedy self seeking woman murdering her sons father as he laid choking and dying in the next room.
Oh yeah, she was awake taunting and watching him die in the bedroom….. she would never have missed that!
It was his money and success that she fell in love with, it WAS ALWAYS ALL ABOUT HIS MONEY and stature in the community.

If she wrote this letter knowing that her lawyer was going to read it, would she have added the part about "outing" her nieces by sending pictures anonymously to the press? Surely she would want her legal team to believe that she was a good, kind person...not a vindictive pos. That's what really showed her true colours, the nastiness at the end.

If her husband had died tragically of an overdose, and if she had loved her husband and loved her young children who had lost their father, would she have been showing so much hatred toward her husband’s family from the moment of his death? The hatred she expresses in this letter toward her husband’s sisters is scary. THAT is what she felt toward her husband too. She didn’t want him, she wanted what he had. She stupidly gives herself away.

Surely a hair follicle test of the victim Eric will determine whether he was a long term addict and long term user of fent as Kouri claims, or if he was poisoned as a one time event. In terms of toxicology the body truly does keep the score, and hair follicle tests will reveal a lot which I'm sure the prosecution will use as their ace.

I really think it's time to rethink the "everyone deserves their day in court stuff". This lady killed her husband who was a good man, provider, loved the kids and no rumors of him cheating and she still wasn't happy. Then....this guy still let's her stay after knowing she robbed him and was trying to kill him. You can't get more amazing than that. Then this lady goes and write a book, she wanted people to read their kids about dealing with loss. Knowing full well she caused the loss and didn't care one bit about how it would hurt the kids who loved and needed their dad. What is the point of court? Give this man justice already and lock her away for life!! If anybody deserves one of those courage awards its him althought he isn't here to receive it. He still cared about her well-being and allowed her to stay in the home knowing what she was up to. A wonderful man gone for no reason. Was already providing and giving her the world yet still wasnt happy. He deserved so much more from her. Want to see justice come for him, his kids, his family, everyone who is feeling his loss everyday.
    💔👎🏿🙏🏿🙌🏿❤️🕊

I understand your point - I really do - but the due process we have in this country is WHAT the forefathers fought and died for and is a right even KR should have. That said, she is so clearly guilty and the fact she wants a trial is on HER.

I think she did it, but she absolutely deserves her day in court. She deserves defense counsel, everyone does. If we do away with that, there is NO justice for anyone, ever. How can your distaste for a single person make you think due process is a bad idea? If justice is what you seek, the this is the best way (so far) that humans have found to procure it.

My prayers are for the children and families. It's time for Justice. No Bail was the right call In this case. I will never understand how people are so blind to having it all and still being this greedy and cold-hearted.

Unfortunately unscrupulous defense attorneys will perjure and create any falsehood they think they can get a gullible jury to swallow. Their defensive strategy attempts to blame the victim for their own demise or create a false narrative they hope a jury will accept in order to free a guilty client from the legal consequences of their criminal behavior. They will have difficulty proving witness tampering in court unless the witnesses actually testify according to the "Walk the dog" letter. I would assume that since the discovery of the letter, defense attorney Sky will NOT push that narrative as a defense or risk evidence tampering and perjury charges for herself and her client. The discovery of the letter raises grave questions regarding Kouri Richins' role and criminal guilt in Eric Richins' death and creates even greater difficulties for Kouri Richins' defense.

Officers in the jail searched her jail cell and found it. Kouri is so guilty. She had tried to poison him 2 times before he died. He had gone to a divorce attorney secretly. He had also moved all his assets into a trust for the 3 sons. And listed his sister Katie as the trustee. Kouri even had the audacity to buy the 22,000 square foot home the day after he died. And have a party there. Kouri also hired a locksmith and tried to steal $160,000 dollars from the safe. Katie showed up and Kouri physically attacked her. The sheriff arrested her for that too. But that was before the murder investigation.

I'm always curious, just how did she expect this all to end? Her getting to be an authority on grief, writing her "series" or prison, where murderers go. I guess she could still write books from prison, but if this letter is an example, she should stick to fiction.
