Kouri was a checkout girl at Home Depot when they met. Eric was an extremely hard worker and was worth 3 million when he met her. She wanted him to buy her a 20,000 square foot home and he told her he didn’t think it was a good ideal. She buys that home the day after he died and had the audacity to have a party there that day! B - Did you see the gorgeous home they were living in? More than most would ever dream of but she pushed her husband to buy a 2 million dollar unfinished mansion in the middle of nowhere and he refused, so she closed the day after she killed him.

Baffling set of circumstances for sure. The defense is likely going to jump on this to argue that he could not have been so suspicious of her poisoning him if he continued to eat and drink from her. Moreover, apparently while several of his family members alleged that he told them if something happened to him, she did it ... there is no trail of his fears against his wife - no text messages, no email, no written statement to a legal authority that he was in fear for his life. Just the family's word. This is a weakness in the prosecutor's case, but I think the mountain of other circumstantial evidence still stack up against Kouri. She was deeply in debt and he was more useful to her dead than alive.
