Those 1980s toy designers sure had a great imagination on how to make great toys that can last for decades. Great video of the 80s spookiest figures and playset. Thumbs up.
Except for He-Man, Scareglow is terrifying to me because his arms feel like they could break, plus figures made in Malaysia become covered in spots

Great idea for a top list! And very nice job, Michael - a lot of laughs and great selection! :D I had quite a few Thundercats figures including Mumm-Ra, but I don't think I've ever seen that playset, looks very cool :) As for Sectaurs, I do not like spiders LOL... And Decompose looks seriously messed up (in a good way!), he reminds me of the Skeksis from the movie the Dark Crystal :) He-Man does indeed have a great selection of creepy figures and playsets, the Evil Horde baddies were always my favorite figures :D Have a great Halloween everyone!

This is a top 10 list I've never thought of. I have a co-worker that when we work together. All he does is come up with top ten lists. "Hey buddy whats your top ten rock bands. Top ten superheroes"...etc. Fun guy to work with. LOL
I used to have THE FRIGHT ZONE and now I miss it . Sucks to be not fluid with money! And the ones I see from time to time , come without the snake rubber glove , ugh!

Awesome video Michael!! I love this time of year, so this way right up my alley. There sure were some amazing figures, and playsets that came out in the 80's. I’ve not really had a good look at the inhumanoids, they look great! Love the ones you highlighted! I’m not sure they came out in the U.K., I can’t remember them.

Thanks Joe! Scareglow must have been a blast to have. Lots of figures had glow in the dark parts but not too many figures that were glow in the dark from head to toe! :D
Joe S. ...i got the MOTU Classics scareglow and he still lights up bright at night! Even came with the Key of Grayskull...awesome to have!

My mother fell into the demonic scare in the 80's. She used to hate that my dad took us to the comic book store on saturdays while he played D&D. We would sit and read comics and play with star blazer toys etc.. So Inhumanoids were not in my toy box but one of my aunts bought my brother and I the entire line of Sectaur toys. Looking back I'm betting it was in the discount bin but I didn't care. Those puppet vehicles were the coolest and I felt like the toy king for a while.Sometimes I would trade things for stuff I liked but none of my friends were lucky enough to have the Inhumanoids much less Decompose. I would have loved those but it's fun to see videos like this and look back.
Question: Did you ever pick up any Air Raiders? My friend Bobby and I used to love that stuff when we weren't having epic G.I. Joe battles.
Nope, never collected Air Raiders. The toys didn't appeal much to me back in the day compared to other toys I couldn't afford either like Centurions or M.A.S.K. :D
I like the cartoon D'Compose better, no hair. lol
I never noticed the guy that voiced Cobra Commander did so many voices
