That was great! What a great idea with the gold chain. Maybe a custom black Battlecat with a red stripe on either side would be cool. I think you may have sold me on this, lol! I really, really loved the added in voice overs of Mr. T, I mean the figure it self seems to have that something about him none the less, but the added in voice over, excellent stuff!!! The fact they added a Mr. T figure to the Masters of The WWE Universe line is *chef's kiss* perfect. A beautiful combination of 80's nostalgia. Also cool, they got Arabic fans in mind with that translation of Heroic Pitiar of Fools at the back of the box, as a fan from Egypt this makes warms my heart.
'Fabulous Secret Powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my Magic Gold Chains and said "By the Power of Baracus...I HAVE THE POWER, SUCKA...!!!" I became...MR T.-MAN, the Most Heroic Pitier of Fools in the Universe!!!'
You're definitely on the Jazz with this vid, Michael...I love it when a plan comes together...I'd also love it if there was a proper Masters of the Universe/A-Team comics crossover or something...just imagine, Hannibal talking strategy with Man-at-Arms...Face trying to charm Teela, the Sorceress, or even Evil-Lyn(!)...not to mention Howlin' Mad Murdock trying to convince BA that a certain green tiger really can talk, yes?!

my local walmarts have been sold out of MotU Origins for months. Just yesterday I went looking and saw Mr.T hanging alone beside the empty pegs for MotU Origins. Grabbed him without hesitation. definitely my fav wrestler growing up! will always remember wrestle mania 1 & 2.

Mr. T was one of my favorite characters, even in the 80s as well as today, and I have yet to meet him in real life as a Uber driver. :)

The comic has either Macho Man, or possibly Hulk Hogan calling for help, and that last panel is his saying "I ain't getting in no talon fighter!" You know, because he's Mr.T. Easily the coolest toy in this line so far.
I really love the chains it really make the figure look larger than life like the real Mr.T

Great review! All three of those figures look fantastic with amazing color and detail! They did well by including the mini-comics! This is a dream cross over for any old school wrestling and He-man fan! I may look to scoop them up some time.
Great review! Loved the flying bit. So excited to get this figure. Loved the classic A-Team 6" and 3 3/4" figs from Galoob so this is a must have. Brilliant idea by Mattel to do a Mr. T in the MOTU style.

i seen wave 3 once at my walmart here in sarnia ontario, i seen everyone but undertaker from that set that day but i only had budgeted my groceries, needless to say i went back a few days later, what was once a shelf filled with them suddenly they were all gone !!! it still shocks and boggles my mind! also the gold chains u added looks great loved seeing all the comparisons!
I always loved Mr.T as a kid growing up, and then seeing him being a recurring character on Conan O’Brien for a while and seeing his real personality come through once in a while, and then learning he lived with his dear mother, man this guy is a real hero.

This wave of figures are just now trickling into my area, and of course the hardest one to find is this guy. Worth it of you can find him, but that Galoob B.A. figure makes me kinda want to try my hand at making a vintage He-Man style Mr. T to go with him, that vintage head almost looks like it would be the right scale....

Same thing happens in indiana, never get new figures and when we do they always never last as it seems that the people who want them never get them. But we got the origins end cap! So I'm happy and enjoying my new He-Man, Skeletor, Man at arms, and Beast Man!! Love your videos though and I'd be glad if you read my rant Micheal! Whoever read this, I hope you enjoy your day.

Loved Mr T. I had the A team dolls and I had three sizes of T as a kid.
The Galoob one, that's the middle size one I had! I think the two smaller ones were branded as BA and the bigger one was branded as Mr T.
There was also MOTU-style Rocky 3 figures in '83.

You could customize his gauntlets and paint them gold for they are silver in color,like the chains,it's what they should have done.

Found this at a Walmart in Quebec, I was shocked. Bought him right away, and I pity those who don't.
(I have my original van from when I was 7, it's in amazing shape because I was obsessive with my toys and now I finally have B.A. )
I'm a vendor for company that works in partnership with walmart. I work 6 stores in my area (3 supercenters, 3 grocery stores) and I've noticed an inconsistency with these in my stores. Only 1 store has them on the shelf. All 3 had that pallet display with the wrestling ring that came with 2 figures. I've seen G1 transformer reprints more frequently than I have seen these.

@Michealmercy long island new York walmarts dont get much either. 2 hangers of the MOTU, 4 hangers and a shelf of transformers. Very sparse toy section

I think I'm going to lean into the T-Man theme. Might try to get another Battle Cat, paint it black with gunmetal armor and red highlights, name it Vanthor.
Rocky's most capable and hungriest opponent.
Still my favorite Rocky Movie. THey were all great, but I always felt 3 had the lowest lows and the highest highs of the franchise and the most triumphant return. Great show.

I remember being a kid in the 80s and loved everything MOTU and always thought Jitsu was inspired by Mr.T since he was so huge back in the day.
