  • Hair steaming is one of the things that I attribute to my hair growth & length retention. Once I started steaming my low porosity natural hair, it was NEVER the same. In this video, I discuss the pros of cons of using a hair steamer on wash day!

Your suggested steamer comes with a face attachment. Once you steam for 20 minutes with the dome, remove the dome, add the face attachment and let that steam the nape of your neck for another 15-20 minutes. Works very well for my nape and the sides of my hair.

I just got a steamer and tried it for the first time with a hot oil treatment and I loved it! However, I'm almost afraid to keep the one I got because it says to use only mineral or tap water, and I know most other ones say not to do that due to possibilities of that causing build up. I'm definitely not trying to repurchase another one anytime soon just because of the wrong type of water causing problems 😒.
