Wembley - Check out Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins playing with the LEGENDS of Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page (guitar) & John Paul Jones (bass).
Taylor takes lead vocals & sings Led Zeppelin's iconic song "Rock & Roll"! His voice sounds amazing, Dave looks like a kid in a candy shop the whole time he's wailing on the drums & OMG JIMMY PAGE can still destroy that guitar solo! Don't miss this epic performance! 🎸🥁🎤
RIP Taylor Hawkins! He will really be missed. I saw him with Foo Fighters a couple times and he was great! I remember hearing him sing Queen ‘s Somebody to Love. I also loved it when he had Nandi Bushell the young girl up their with him. She has a tribute to him on YT. Thanks Adogg!!!! Watched every second of it.
Yeah I had the luxury of meeting him at the xgames a few years ago when his band Chevy metal played.. bought him a beer and bullshit with him for about 5 minutes telling him that he's the reason I am the drummer I am today. He gave me his sticks and told me keep it going. A memory I'll never forget. And that mother fucker will be missed foreverlong 😥💔🤘🤘
From this same concert.. you should consider watching the video of these guys playing with John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page (Led Zep). They did a couple of songs with Taylor Hawkins singing, while Dave was on the drums. They’re excellent!!
Dave Grohl was Nirvana's drummer... and when Nirvana ended in 1994, Grohl was left w/ an uncertain future... He had recorded an album he dubbed 'Foo Fighters' on which he played guitar, bass & drums and sang lead on... So, Grohl decided to start a band from scratch in 1995. He started touring as Foo Fighters w/ Nirvana's touring guitarist Pat Smear, bassist Nate Mendel and drummer William Goldsmith (Dave Grohl played guitar and sang) ... And by 1996, the first Foo Fighters album was a success.
Taylor Hawkins (R.I.P.) had been a session drummer for years, and had just done a massive tour playing drums for Alanis Morissette in 1995/'96... He became a fan of Foo Fighters. When their drummer William Goldsmith left the band in 1997, Taylor Hawkins joined for the tour and appeared in the music videos. He and Dave Grohl became close friends. He made his debut on the 3rd Foo Fighters album 'There is nothing left to lose' in 1999 and became a permanent band member alongside Dave Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel and guitarist Chris Shiflett.
Taylor Hawkins also recorded solo projects, and sang lead on select Foo Fighters songs... Hawkins singing lead w/ Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones (Dave Grohl on drums) on the Zeppelin song 'Rock and roll' is great 🤘🤘🔥🔥Check out this video honoring Zeppelin in 2012:

I've been following Dave Grohl "best drummer in the world" ever since he played with Nirvana. I was thrilled when he formed Foo Fighters, then the 2nd greatest drummer shined " Taylor Hawkins". Prayers for his wife & children & to his family the Foo Fighters.
One of their best tracks... there will never be another Taylor
He’s putting every piece of himself in the song 👍
The Foo Fighters are at their best live. Something to keep in mind--this is the closing song after playing for the past 2 - 2.5 HOURS--on back-to-back nights! They are exhausted here, but they still coming in HOT! 🔥
It's amazing how the Foo Fighters sold out 2 nights at Wembley in the UK on their 2007/ '08 tour... but in the US, I saw them in an arena in Minneapolis and it wasn't sold out (They put on a great show! Big production... full band. Awesome night!)
It's strange how some American artists like Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Manowar, The Ramones... get more popularity overseas than in their home country...
Amazing reaction!! My heart is broken with the loss of Taylor Hawkins. I feel so sad that Dave Grohl has to mourn another friend and bandmate. This song has so much meaning to me.
Foo Fighters are an amazing band, so sad to lose Taylor, RIP...Thanx for a great reaction, Peace
I love watching people discover this song. This was a great reaction, thanks! The story (as I've heard it) is that Dave was really overwhelmed at the love and emotion from the crowd and turned to Taylor during the down part and said something along the lines of he thought he might start to cry. Taylor smiled his beautiful smile and said something like that's ok man, just go with it. It's so powerful when Dave breaks and really does start to cry. Seeing someone experience something so incredibly special to them is beautiful.(I don't know the actual exchange of words but that's the gist as I've heard the story told.)
Every time I hear a song by Foo Fighters now I swear it seems like it is a song for Taylor. I am heartbroken by his death as if he was a personal friend. Every time I watch him play I am amazed. Thank you for playing this. They have 26 years of songs, so plenty to choose from. Watching live shows is the best way to see how they play their hearts out every single time.
Foo Fighters
My Hero
Now you have to listen to Prince sing it. If Prince covers you, you know you're good
And that’s when I became a fan of the Foo Fighters 💜🤷🏾♀️❤️💔💜☔️
Rest in Paradise Taylor!!! Thank you for the thrills and years of awesome music!!! 🎵🎼🎶🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜
The look between Dave Grohl(the singer)& Taylor Hawkins (the drummer) breaks my heart. They had a connection that very few ever have. So emotional.
Thank you so much! Please honor them with their music, because Taylor Hawkins was an angel. He was with the Foo’s for 25 years. 😇Fly high Taylor!
R.I.P. Taylor! 💜 today is the second anniversary of his passing! You are missed!!🎵🎼🎶🥁🥁🥁🤘🤘
Foo fighters are epic!
Watched this concert on AXS last night. It was awesome!
Glad someone reviewed this gem good video 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Doobie Brothers, "Listen to the Music," 🎸 🎶 & "Black Water!" 🎻 🎶
RIP Taylor Hawkins
You will find few artists with the talent and dedication Dave Grohl has. He broke his leg during the first set, Taylor sang a song while a doctor from the crowd set his leg. He then came back out on stage in a chair and finished the concert while the doctor held his leg stable. He didn’t want to disappoint the fans🙌👏👏
Please Adogg. Every video reviewer has reviewed this video (and shed a tear or two) except the GOAT of video reviews. This is "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters from the memorial concert they did for their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins, in Wembley Stadium this past September. Crowd reaction incredible.
But what makes this video forever special is the fact that Taylor's 16 YO son, Shane, sits in on the drums. Everyone knows how you like drummers. 16 YO Adogg, paying tribute to his father. Can't stop watching this.
16 YO!

Taylor and Dave were like brothers. We are so heartbroken for him. But I’m so glad I got to see them live at work before the pandemic. RIP Taylor!

So good!!! 😭
Rest peacefully my friend .. I'm the drummer I am today because of you.💔😥🤘🤘
Oh you MUST do The Pretender!!!!
once upon a time, not long ago. Live Music was a much more enjoyable form of entertainment than professional sports. Then came corporate greed and it all changed.
Their song Everlong is amazing
Fly High Brother~~~
you are so cool bro. I would love to hang out with you
Fly high and free Taylor, rest easy.
Do the We Run video..
you
Will
Thank me
😍💥
Oooh the first!!
Singer Dave Grohl was the drummer of Nirvana, so sadly this is not the first time he has had to deal with the death of a band member.
Try KRAFTWERK - ROBOTS
P.S. Go Rams!
Man, Dave lost his voice. Still an amazing song and I love Dave Grohl!!
Sorry for Dave..2 bandmates sucks.
I have always been a fan but they lost a life long fan when they made people show a vaccine card to get into their shows. Fuck that....
Boo hoo
