Yes, they are still a touring band. They unfortunately had to take some time off because of the tragic death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins. He was the one sharing that priceless look with Dave in the middle of the video. Dave has shared that they were not only best friends but very much like brothers. I can only imagine how difficult it was to lose him. The Foo Fighters have a very extensive catalog. The lead singer, Dave Grohl, was the drummer in Nirvana and turned to music as catharsis when Kurt Contain died. The very first Foo Fighters album was Dave playing all the instruments and doing all the singing. Only later did he form A band so they could tour the album.
Dave grohl (lead vocals) was the drummer for nirvana and obviously lost the lead singer. Now Dave being the lead singer now lost his drummer (Taylor Hawkins) about a year or so ago. It was heart wrenching!! U need to react to the foo fighters with Shane Hawkins on drums (Taylor Hawkins son 15 yo at that time)
Taylor absolutely wrecked his drums on this. DEAR GOD he slayed every second of this.

I was there! Of course it was raining.. this is England 😄 I was in that video! One of the best nights of my life without a doubt! Dave Grohl is the singer here and used to play the drums in Nirvana! Pat Smear also plays with Foo Fighters and used to play with Nirvana as the 4th member back in the day. Yes they are still going.
Have seen them live 3 times. Was to be 4, but it was when taylor passed away. There are no words to describe it live, you feel every word. It really is a party, a sing along, an experience. Dave has a way to command a crowd with his songs, and it is like for 3 hours (or more) the world is at peace, and we are all friends experiencing the happiest moments of our lives together.
I dare say Foo Fighters is one of the best rock bands of the last 25 years. their music is very powerfull and always manages to get me in a good mood.
I've had the privilege of seeing Foo 5 or 6 times live. They are so much fun. So much energy. They do this for over 3 hours during their shows. Dave is like the Energizer Bunny! Definitely some of the best shows I've ever been to! Fun reaction!!!

Yes they still tour. I saw them last Sat night (Dec 2nd) in Adelaide Australia.

There is actually a story happening at 5:39 . He goes to the drummer and tells him is is in aww of the freaking show they play in front of so many people. And he says to the drumemr he is about to cry. PS: The fact that Taylor Hawkins (the drummer he is talking to passed away few years later) and that Dave Grohl already lost another friend to addcition (Kurt Cobain) and sings "Im tired of starting again somwhere new" in that exact moment is so freaking sad

they have been amazing every time I've seen them in concert!!! Mind you, I've seen Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling stones in concert back in their prime and they set the bar very high... Foo Fighters live up to that!!!!

I was at this show it was incredible, next year I am watching the band twice in 7 days at different city’s 200 miles apart going to be a fantastic week I can’t wait. This show was insane being the crowd close to that stage was one of the best nights of my life easy the best food fighters show I have done and I have been and watched them 14 times to date.
You have to try The Pretender, another strong song from them. The official video is amazing.

They are going to be at Welcome to Rockville Festival in May (Daytona, Florida). Im really looking forward to seeing them.
What's crazy is that despite being one of the biggest rockstars in the world, Dave Grohl (singer) is supposedly the kindest, most down-to-earth person you could ever hope to meet. I know people who have met him and testified that he was the nicest guy in the world. Also, there is an edit of this song where Dave just keeps singing "THE BEST" over and over again for like four minutes. I know I'm childish, but I was sobbing with laughter the first time I heard that. And yeah, they're still playing/touring. Dave Grohl was the drummer for NIrvana, and he started this band around the time Nirvana ended. They've been at it for almost 30 years now. Sadly, their drummer passed away last year, so they took some time off.
People who go through bad things usually become very humble and kind (if the trauma does not break them), because they know how fragile life is and how important connections are, that moment when u lose some1 very important to u, u really start to re-evaluate what is important
While this live performance is amazing I feel you're missing something not hearing the studio version. Incredible song, incredible performance. The audience knowing it so well changes the experience in my mind somehow. Enjoyed your reaction!

Hi, love the content your putting out! I actually went to both shows at Wembley Stadium! Stunning shows, 80k Foo Fans! Got to see Page and JPJ from Led Zeppelin play with Dave and Taylor at one of the shows! It was so good the 1st night, I had to get tickets the 2nd night as I know I’d be missing out! Love from Cali!
I got my tickets to see them in NYC for next summer.
Their concerts are 2.5-3 hour sing along. I was hoarse for 2 days after seeing them. This was the first time they played Wembley.
Just saw Foo Fighters this past year, and it was amazing. I’m sad I wasn’t able to see them with Taylor Hawkins RIP. Dave Grohl seem like the coolest dude on the planet.
Famous talk show host and comedian David Letterman who once hosted the Late Show had The Foo Fighters on lots of times.He said that was his favorite rock band.He had them on his last show on the sign off.

Keep going with the Foo Fighters! As is demonstrated by this song/performance, they are a GREAT band! They have many great songs AND their videos are either really funny and inventive or very touching and heartfelt. Dave Grohl is one of Rock's great ambassadors. He is a wonderful, funny, blessed/talented human being. You should look up the performance he did at The White House, during the Obama administration, which was in tribute to Sir Paul McCartney. It's a total love-fest because Dave is such a huge Beatles fan! Great music! Keep going!

Foo Fighters released a new album in 2023 "But here we are"... Tragically, it was recorded after the death of their drummer Taylor Hawkins, who was found dead in a hotel room in Colombia, S. America on tour in 2022 (likely) from a prescription drug OD 😪(R.I.P.) Foo Fighters were on tour for their 2021 pop-rock album 'Medicine at midnight'... The tour was cancelled.
Dave Grohl (vocals & guitar) played all the drums for the new album and they recently announced that Josh Freese (drums) was joining the Foo Fighters for this tour cycle... Foo Fighters have always been huge in Europe since 1996, so more than likely, u will have a chance to see them in concert 🤘🤘

As I,ts been later told in the comments... band had to take a break, due to unfortunate death of Taylor Hawkins... Very unfortunate. Still its a great live at Wembley.
I almost had a heart attack when you compared the great Dave Ghrol to that guy from Nickelguac. Dave was the drummer of Nirvana and unfortunately last year Taylor Hawkins, drummer of Foo Figthers, passed away in Colombia.

I just saw them perform just a couple months ago, so yes that are still touring but now with a new drummer since the passing of Taylor Hawkins who you saw in this video. What an unexpected Huge loss that was.
