FACTS!
@@goo267 Born in 81. Used to know east 1999 front to back. I'm not grandmaster flash old, but I'm up there.
My opinion & I'll argue this until the day I die.
The 1990's were without a shadow of a doubt, "The Golden Era" of Rap Music.
There will never be anybody like him again
"Dear Mama" by 2Pac is one of the major reasons the OGs keep saying that rap music has changed
This song is one of those eternal masterpieces.
Respect 2PAc
Showing emotion is often mistaken for weakness. Let it go. We appreciate you for your genuine reactions
Not for women
100 %
Tupac has a deep catalog filled with substance
Dear Mama by Tupac is for all single mothers that's been raising children on there own BIG SHOUT out to all the single/married/divorced mothers 👩👩👩👩👩🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯💯💯💯
Pac was a poet before he was a rapper. His book of poetry is called the rose that grew from concrete in addition to beautiful poetic songs like changes, keep ya head up, brenda’s got a baby, life goes on, and so many more
The only unconditional love a guy gets is from his mother and dogs. Facts.
All black women should appreciate this song
ALL BLACK SO CALLED MALES SHOULD APPRECIATE THIS MASTERPIECE OF A SONG..T
PAC is HANDS DOWN THE GOAT EVEN EMINEM SAYS IT
I suppose you ain't heard of Rakim, Krs1, Kool G Rap, Ice T, etc etc
@@lexrus7786 Guess you haven't heard the song Brenda got a baby..
Bro all them guys you mentioned can be considered are my favorites but none of them can pull tears out so easily. Pac us the GOAT 🐐

Dear Mama is another great one. This dude here was a gem. Rest in peace Pac.
But everyone slept on “So Many Tears”. It’s one of the purest and most poetic songs of all time, outside of hip-hop. Period. Go and listen.
I will never get tired of this song. After all these years and till this day.
You are Appreciated. Dear Mama is one of the greatest songs of all time.
Facts
This is what happens when one listens to a legend. Epic.
This song makes me tear up every single time. So simple but so effective. You should react to the music video. Definitely adds to an already brilliant song. Worth the double dip!
I agree
PAC IS THE GOAT!!!
Debatable
@@colterwilliams3152 most everything is.
@@mikemartins4994 exactly
@@colterwilliams3152 I’m not understanding lol. You don’t agree that (I) think pac is the goat.. Lolol.
@@mikemartins4994 I said it’s debatable. Claiming someone is the greatest is a big statement. I believe there are numerous rappers better than Tupac. If you are talking solely on impact and impact alone, then yes, I would call him ONE of the best.
I White And I LOVE THIS ALBUM..! I Grew Up in the '90s Listening to 2pac One of the Greatest of the Rap Game..! This Album Still Gives me Chill's, Up and Down My Spine, And HEART, and leaves my HAIR STANDING UP, EVERY TIME I HEAR IT..!! MAN what a MILESTONE ALBUM, for the Rap community..!, As well as All African American people..!
If your new listening to pac...get ready. He is the most incredible rapper of all time. Thank you so much for listening to the GOAT! It helps to have the lyrics of to completely understand his lyrical genius.
I fight back tears every time I hear this. I remember freshmen year of college playing this in my room; my roommate was gone at the time. My friend Jordan came to the door and I had been vibing to this and soaking it in teary eyed and I had to act like I wasnt emotional right then. And my bro is cool af so he wouldn't care but he was talking to me and I couldn't pay attention to anything but the song. It was Mother's day too btw. Admittedly I play it on random days when I feel it. Love my momma
The beauty of a song of beauty is it is around forever. Tupac will forever touch people’s hearts in a way very few could.
2Pac will change your life...
Storytelling, deep social issues, flow and like you have said just Music... he is very easy to listen to... many things ahead for you :-D

2pac was something special miss u Pac
Man in 55yrs old and this dam video got me about to cry.
What a legend what a real true music what an inspiration rest in peace 2 pac you will always be missed and loved
No shame of crying!
Anyone with a soul and the heart in the right place, would react differently.
Love from Sweden 🇸🇪❤️
Great reaction. 2pac will change your life. Learn his life and you'll completely understand why his music gets more violent. What this man accomplished in only 4 years is outrageous. The GOAT of hip hop on so many levels. Let's not forgot people, he was dam good human! Who stood up for right. Dont let the news fool you. The man speaks from the pit of his stomach.
This whole song was my experience, I remember laying down in the bed as a teen in the 90’s listening to this in tears. I thought I was alone, me and my mom was beefing, got kicked out, dad I never murdered at the age of 19 in 1989 and I always made sure I took care of my mother no matter what. I only remember seeing my dad twice, when he was drunk and didn’t even acknowledge me then the 2nd time in a coffin. I was 4 but remember it like yesterday. Me and my mom beefed all through my teens because she was trying to figure it out herself, she was only in her 20’s when I was a teen. Had me at 13 yrs old, it was thought but we made it through the BS and grew closer now in my adult life. This song is one of my favorites of all time but I always skip it because of the memories.
Only PAC could bring that emotion out. That’s why he’s the goat
That's why he was tha greatest..
No worries! When it comes to discovering 2Pac for the first time, it's INEVITABLE, with NO age limit!
There are universities that teach his poetry.
“ there’s no way I can pay you back, but my plan is to show you that I understand You are appreciated ” powerful words that our mamas need to know I LOVE MY MAMA SO MUCH
"I wish I could take the pain away...if you can make it through the night, there's a brighter day!!" I lost my Mother 14 years ago. I miss her dearly. This was our song!! It's still a POWERFUL song!! I lost my Father at the age of 3, so all I knew was my Mother. My Mother held it down. We struggled for a while, but, I didn't know it. lol... I didn't realize it, until I was older and looked back....MY MOTHER!! Until the day she left this earth, I tried to show her that " I understand! You are appreciated"!! Great review....Great song!!
Regardless if people like pac or not. They can’t can’t argue he is one of if not the most influential artist of all time. Some recommendations
-Changes
-Only god can judge me
-keep ya head up
This song make grown azz Black, White, Mexican men cry. Tupac was only 25 years old when he died
He made some classic songs with meaning like "Changed" "Brenda's got a baby" "My unborn child" ect deep songs that'll make you think he was a true poet inspired a lot of rapper and people RIP Tupac
The few *#2Pac* songs that have videos you need to react to the video. Did you notice there were NO Curse words in this song? Another POWERFUL one you would really enjoy is *(Keep Your Head Up)*
I have loved this song for nearly 30 years, I can't imagine how fun it is to discover this masterpiece for the first time. I give you some sideeye for now knowing this song but I am just happy you finally found it!!
I love 2Pac. He was really the rap poet of our time!! His mom, Afeni Shakur, was arrested, tried, and acquitted on charges related to her being in the Black Panthers! She was a strong woman! This is a beautiful song and the chorus is a sample of the song, "Sadie" by The Spinners!💖💖
I never met my dad. I was told when I was 12 he died and I didn’t care, because like 2pac said my anger wouldn’t let me feel for a stranger
You Mamama Lied to you. your daddy was probably alive and well but your mamma din't tell you so.
The Remix ft Boyz to Men is Just as GOOD, In my Opinion ENHANCED this BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO his MOTHER. 54 YEAR OLD OG and I STILL TEAR UP EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO THIS SONG. RIP MOMMA
5:37 This lil voice cracked me up. “Let me get my kids’ wipesss”. 😆
The best reaction of 2pac I have ever seen. Thank you for listening and explaining every special verse ❤❤🎉
Brenda has a baby is another one of 2 Pac masterpiece
"Dear Mama" should be regarded as the official Mother's Day anthem, period.
Pac has been on my "stay list" since the early 90s. Without question,Tupac is a generational talent I am blessed to have been around during his career. Without question he is on my Mt. Rushmore of rappers. He is missed by many to this very day.... especially this 56 year old man.
2Pac is an extraordinary being. The track Dear Mama will pierce your soul. 2pac is a once in a lifetime kind of guy. You can't find another like him. He's the type that you come across, his positive impact will remain with you till eternity.
Pac wrote the verses to this song while he was on the toilet😂 then he called her, rapped it for her and see started crying.
U should stay in ur lane and not speak on sh!t u don't knw about about or have any connection to..

Keep your head up by Tupac! Definitely a heartfelt song.
And even as a crackfieeend, Mama, you al-ways was a black queeen, Mama! Such an iconic, beautiful song.
she had him at 17 and was a crackfieeeend does that sound like a good mamma to idolize as a queen?
West Coast rap is really brilliant as it's a blending of rap and R&B, so smooth to listen to. Beautiful song.
You are truly a mother that's y you could relate to this song emotionally, I feel you sister.
Girl, I just love you so much.💕Finally, I found someone who this song makes them cry as much as it makes ME CRY!! 😭
Love that you're being vulnerable and showing your emotions, i get emotional everytime i hear this song, thank you
Tupac - life goes on!
So to give a little explanation about the letter to mom...He was in prison at the time of writing this song while his mother was going through rehab for her drug use...So when the opportunity presented itself from Suge to get out of prison he ceased it to save his Mother as well as his self!! And the Hits poured in like a flood and the clubs were off the chain back then for us 26yrs old hustlers 💪🏾💙 Thug Life
I'm glad the people listen to Tupac today. I grew up listening to him. And I feel like Dick. It's almost like he understood everybody, so everything he said resident.
You right girl he was way ahead of his time my mom passed away dear Mama ❤ this was how I raised girl it almost makes me cry when I hear this
He is my favourite artist. Tupac is a legend. I will listen Jim even with 80 yrs
He had such a way with words. A shame the world lost him at only 25.
2pac - do for love
This song is eternal. I cry sk bad cos i never had the opportunity to show my mum how much i love and appreciatef her until she died.
Those of you who still have your mamas akive please show rhem love while thry still here.
Now all i do is tell my wife everyday how much i love her for being a mothe yo my kids.
Thats a consolation for my mum.
Ashley!!! You gotta do another reaction to the music video for this song 🔥🔥
Yesss i was screaming at the beginning "WHY ISNT SHE REACTING TO THE OFFICIAL VIDEO"
@@alexalvarez1843 Maaaan I was like God pls guide her to the video at some point lmao 🤣
Afeni talking in the beginning of the video and the visuals took that song to the stratosphere

So amped for you to go down this rabbit hole! Great job like always luv!
You’re just hitting the tip of the iceberg. Even from his earlier years with Digital Underground to the middle of his career to the end, a master, a lyrical genius. Quite simply the GOAT
This is a powerful song it takes alot to get thru this song without a tear drop. It seems alot of us can relate to this
2 pac " keep your head up"
If you have time please read The Rose that Grew From Concrete. Pac was so much more then a hip hop artist. There are dedicated classes at elite colleges on his contribution to society and music. He passed Septembe 13, 1996…..I was in my freshman year of high school. All of us students took a day of remembrance on the 14th for how he affected all of us. His catalog is deep, emotional and thought provoking.
Thank you for sharing this, I'm gonna look it up myself. I never knew.
Her genuine reaction 😢 I love that about her
They play this every mothers day til this day 2pac the goat he got a alot of songs like this
Thug poetry is what 2pac called it.
You gotta listen to Unconditional Love. It's my favorite song of his. It's simply beautiful, smooth and there's a good chance it'll make you cry too.
Tupac wasn't a rapper. He was a poet with amazing flow on the mic
Absolutely my brother point blank period.
I’m crying with you. Amazing reaction.
Pac still speaks to everyone's heart not ears. Great reactions
You already heard a lot of rappers and rap music TUPAC is what the realest Rap music sounds like
This is a beautiful ode and tribute to her. My mother’s birthday is in under a week. And I’ll be with her on that day.
You've got to react to his 1994 Exclusive Interview with Ed Gordan! He was a genius. Beautiful reaction as always!
It's a learning experience on many levels, respect and understand the learn, brother wasn't before his time, he was in time for me and you respect that, sister respect
Love the reaction!
Thank you to you mate! We absolutely love are mum's. And thank you.
Fun fact, before his murdering, 2pac was beginning to develop something he called "Ghetto Gospel"; which took aspects from Hip Hop, Blues, Gospel and Jazz, married them together to form music similar to "Dear Mama", "I wonder if Heavens Got a Ghetto" (Piano Version), "Unconditional Love" and "Tear Drops and Closed Caskets" to name a few.
Thing about this too, this was charting for weeks. This was the type of Hip-Hop that was on radio stations on the regular. Music that provokes thought and emotions. What top 10 song in just recent months alone can you compare to this. On repeat...on radio stations? Appreciate the raw reaction my "G". 😏😌👊🙏
Lil' Mama, I am so glad I watched this video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome reaction…Be blessed.
I'M EVEN EXCITED TO SEE YOUR REACTION. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A MAN A WOMAN ANYONE HEARING DEAR MAMA FOR THE VERY 1ST. TIME!!! LOVE AND PEACE TO YOU MY SISTA'!!! ❤️💐💃💯🫂
Gangsta poetry is EXACTLY right. Pac was say he was a thug poet You are just beginning an epic journey into the world of Tupac Shakur.
This song is considered so important. It was saved by the U.S. library of congress for future generations to enjoy
So happy you discovered Pac

That was emotional watching you hear this for the first time !! Salute

Differently ahead of his time, you see these special people every 100 years or so.
