It's basically a trophy but not out of pride for winning but out of respect for the great battle they shared and for Battle Beast. No hate for each other, actual respect.

The fact Battle Beast was able to make Thrag not only fight to near death but even pushed him so far he was forced to recognize Thok as his equal and even wore his coat as a symbol of honor and respect to his greatest adversary. Big ups to Thok. It took the most powerful Viltrimite 3 whole ass days to finally kill you and not to mention you purposely mortally wounded yourself to even the odds. A true BEAST.
Battle Beast is so badass. The best way I can describe Invincible is that it's almost like an American version of a Shonen anime somewhat like Dragon Ball Z or some shit.

I know nothing of BulletProof other than the trivia Amazon showed about the episode, which said he was cut from this season and thus Monster Girl took his place getting massacred along with Mark and Sampson. I can only assume that the _real_ answer is that Battle Beast brutalized him so hard, the annihilation resonated throughout all dimensions and iterations, including the show.
Lion-o walks by Battle Beasts Statue in a hall of great warriors: "Til the very end, Battle Beast was always about Honor before defeat. May his legend live on.!"
I love how he is first looked upon as fodder by the reader, like "haha, a lion man with weapons, oh no" and then "holy shit, OH NO!", and then it becomes apparent the he outclasses the others so much he is offended and leaves. Also, considering how he is able to go toe to toe against thragg, I never knew how was it that he was even remotely bothered by invincible during their first encounter.
Probably because he could tell he was part Viltromite. After all, he did eventually join the heroes against the empire. He probably didn't expect him to be that young though.
@aragot ra Let this sink in: You either need plot armor or reality warping powers in order to permanently kill Doomsday. You can kill him, but he'll just come back to life immune to how you kill him in the first place. He "killed" superman, superman being only saved by plot armor. Unless you literally erase him from existence, or rip him into literal individual atoms, he will keep coming back. If I remember correctly, one of the few ways to permanently stop him was *to send him to the end of time*. If Doomsday was in the Invincible universe he'd eventually kill everyone.
For those who are confused on how being unstoppable is considered a “curse” for someone like Battle Beast, think of it this way. For Battle Beast, combat is literally what he lives for. The art of fighting opponents who evenly match him is what gives his life purpose and meaning. But imagine someone who loves combat as much as he does suddenly being cursed with immeasurable strength and stamina and becoming basically unstoppable. It’s like someone who prefers playing a game on hard mode for the challenge now being forced to play on easy mode forever. It’s torture for him and it’s why he made it his life’s mission to one day find someone who could beat him in combat. When Thragg kills him, Battle Beast finally has peace knowing his quest to find the superior opponent was finally over.
Battle beast died as he lived: wrecking everyone's shit in combat then getting turned into a badass coat, and I don't think he would've had it any other way.

Battle Beast is actually a chad and a beast, pun intended, he lived his whole life trying to find another opponent and when he did they fought a worthy fight. So glad they included him in the 1st season
I saw it more of a bar being set early on, educating not just Invincible, but the audience that in this universe Viltrumites aren't the only powerful race of people to be feared. Which in the grand scheme of things makes total sense. The universe is infinite. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that part of the reason Viltrumites warred with themselves was not only to eliminate weak breeding warriors, but because they tried and failed to conquer other planets once already. *Hasn't read any of the comics*
@@SeraphimDragon There is only one *race* that seemed to be able to deal with Viltrumites maybe two with the first one being able to manhandle them in direct physical combat not general prowess and BB was an anomaly in his own if everyone that was the same race as BB was as strong them we wouldnt be following Nolan and Markyboy lol.
“He skinned him and wore him in honor of their great battle” Bruh, to me that sounds more like a massive disrespect😂 edit: omg, stop trying to explain why. it's similar to how the Maasai would hold contest for their warriors, tasking them with hunting and killing a lion only with their spears. @@isrealgolden1913 the cultures which ritualistically hunted the lion, did so out of respect for its power. They held lions in high regard and almost as sacred creatures, so a lone warrior defeating one was seen as a sign of greatness to his people. Last episode as in the last episode posted or last episode as in finale?
You know, I was actually pissed that he died and lost because I love Battle Beast but after looking back and understanding, it's actually quite noble for Thragg to wear Battle Beast alongside him in honor of their duel and respect for him. Not out of mockery or pride, but in celebration. That's really commendable. It's basically a trophy but not out of pride for winning but out of respect for the great battle they shared and for Battle Beast. No hate for each other, actual respect.
It's a powerful way to brag about being in a league of _two._
I feel like this was the best outcome for battle beast, he longed for a worthy opponent and I assume sought death
Battle Beast is by far my favourite character. He never cheats or finds a way to break A rule. Instead, he finds a way to even the odds, balance the fight by harming himself, and to encourage one of the best fights he's ever had. He lives by his name and he pushes himself to pursue his long lost achievement. He totally has my respect, and by far interesting as hell.

You either need plot armor or reality warping powers in order to permanently kill Doomsday.

Not to a warrior race, you wear the skin of a worthy foe to remind yourself to never become complacent.
it's similar to how the Maasai would hold contest for their warriors, tasking them with hunting and killing a lion only with their spears. The Maasai tribe saw lion hunting experience as a sign of bravery and personal achievement. The community usually encouraged solo lion hunts as well. The one who succeeded got the lion pelt as a trophy as well as a big boost in status/rank.

Please don't compare real culture to this thanks. The op point is a lion is a animal kill wear it. All who see it, say "oh wow, he wearing lion, cheetah, w/e". The lions in your example were not "true enemies ", battle breast was....
@@isrealgolden1913 the cultures which ritualistically hunted the lion, did so out of respect for its power. They held lions in high regard and almost as sacred creatures, so a lone warrior defeating one was seen as a sign of greatness to his people.
