I really wish the Immortal had a massive power boost to be on par with the stronger Viltrumites in power. And the more he dies, the more powerful and more durable he becomes. And with this new power boost, the Immortal finally becomes the most powerful superhero on earth and would be Earth's greatest protector.

Man I love immortal characters I feel like they have the best complex story arc when you take into account they don't die/stay dead, The immortal apathy towards love is a common theme for character that has immortality that you keep seeing your love ones come and go.
I'm excited to see how the animated show would play out this romance dynamic expecially that the given issues shows more screen time for the supporting cast, expecially Duplikate & Immortal.
I always imagined his body eventually adapts to weapons he never fought before. Guns were not around for the first 1000 years of his life so he didn’t build resistance to it and then afterwards he adapted, like that lizard from the SCPs, it’s body adapts to different weapons it never fought before.
You know, you'd think a corpse of a superhero would be closely guarded or at least be kept under surveillance in the unlikely event that some nut case might steal it and try to study his body and turn himself into a super villain who has the same powers. Well I guess even that would be too far fetched for this universe lmao.
Reversed Vandal Savage. Althought In "Young Justice" it was shown that Savage is indeed Earth's protector. He just uses any means necessary. His social darwinism isn't so cruel or bad after all. He always seeks the betterment of the human race, but he doesn't actively elimenate weaker individuals. He may support villains and murderers, but he isn't one of them and he uses both villains and heroes as tools. So he occassionally supports heroes too.
As far as the in-universe characters go, he is by far the most benevolent and altruistic, by far my favourite in the series. Never liked omniman or the MC myself. A bit sad that the deaths of the original guardians weren’t avenged seeing as they died in absolutely horrific ways in the show, but glad that he didn’t end up being a twist villain. That would be bad writing.
I realized just from looking at immortal in the comics, I think mark got inspiration for his suit from the immortal. it's clear they both have yellow and blue but with the exception of the immortal not wearing a mask and has white stripes on his suit.
Immortal probably has the most interesting history of all the characters in the comics, but it's unfortunate he is usually just part of a plot point and not a focus
I can only imagine how it would've been from the time of witnessing Abraham Lincoln to learning about him all the up to 1930 and seeing a human flying but also asking yourself "Is that Abraham Lincoln".

If Superman was in the Invicible univers, i think he would have get adopted by the Immortal and becoming his sidekick when he became a super hero.
@@stg4theglitchog768 Clark would destroy Omniman
@@MaidenlessScrub If Superman was the viltromite for Earth, Omni-man would have to go on Traxa or something because the viltromites only need one member of they're species for planet.
@@stg4theglitchog768 the Viltrumites don’t just send newborns to do their stuff so if Clark would probably be an outcast of Viltrum. But if his origin was still a Kryptonian, he’d take on Thragg and his army alone
Except that one time where Rex sees (only mentioned) that they did willy-nilly with Kate's clones on their base
the immortal is essentially what if vandal savage turned good.
Their both cavemen who got their powers from an accident, have lived through time and involved in numerous wars, and both are practically immortal. Hell, even their designs are similar.
I mean unless he finds somebody like Adam Eve, who is immortal as well.
Projekt Taku No, I thought her powers regenerate her, even from old age. It seems like she can do that, but I’m not sure.
so does The Doctor
@@pinoycartalk who?
Tbh, i would like to be immortal
Really hope they give immortal a bigger role in the show. Find his character super interesting.
Invincible has so many interesting characters that were killed off early so we didn’t get to learn about them. I would love to see a video about War Woman. Keep it up!!
I feel like after Invincible we should get a guardians of the globe and omni man spin off to see all the adventures they went on together
yeah
They already have that, it’s called Justice League
seeing omniman and the guardians hanging out like nothings going to happen would just crush me
Meh.. seems like it would be boring
Is there an arc like that in the comics?
I’m glade the poor guy gets a happy ending. This story is sad enough as it is.
I'm really glad the immortal gets one of the best endings in the series. Love his character, design and origins. Would really like to see the Mauler Twins next!
As someone who just finished the series and reading the comics, this series is so amazing. Thanks so much for the content man.
I think this guy is my favorite one , he prove that sometimes you just want to rest even if u are a superhuman
So crazy I was literally just searching his origins and boom you uploaded this!
So Immortal is like Vandal Savage mashed up with Superman... awesome
Basically
Vandal Savage's backstory with superman's power and personality
Wrong post to reply, sorry.
I wish he was a better match for Omni-Man, he can definitely hold his own tho.
Me too
@king_ Tesseract Psh! No way! You’re nowhere close to being a match for Omni Man. Get over yourself, buddy XD
@@andreassmed2255 I know. I need to hit the gym more. Maybe one day I could fly.
@@andreassmed2255 that why he said he wishes he was a better match... learn to read
@@scooty1003 Actually, he said that he was already capable of holding his own against Omni Man... Guess that means neither of us can read...
I really wish the Immortal had a massive power boost to be on par with the stronger Viltrumites in power. And the more he dies, the more powerful and more durable he becomes. And with this new power boost, the Immortal finally becomes the most powerful superhero on earth and would be Earth's greatest protector.
Most chracter of this series are mixture of more popular chracter but story is soo good
That’s the point
Yeah I was wondering, immortal is a mix of vandal savage and who else ? He reminds me of another character but I can't pinpoint exactly who.
The only character The immortal reminds me of is Vandal Savage.
Every character. Literally every character. Is a slightly changed marvel or DC character. EVERY ONE
@@Joe-Dirt579 Vandal Savage with a very weak version of supermans strength, speed, flight, durability
I dont know why but the immortal is my favorite character from invincible
Same, love how he still fights omniman even if he knows he is outmatched
Mines probably Battlebeast and Oliver
@@j.jonahjameson5729 Battle Beast is just pure awesomeness in physical form
This comic is brutal, literally kills anyone
I hope this show never loses momentum.
Man I love these story arcs you put together saving me the time and energy. I'm always busy with work. Look forward to more of these.
Immortal reminds me of Vandal Savage because of there similar origins
and Wolverine. Rage issues.
Most of Invincible’s characters are takes on other superheroes
This really seems to be a good series. Interesting that I knew nothing of it until the cartoon, which I am enjoying immensely. Great rundown. Thanks for doing this.
I’m prolly gonna read the series before a season 2 is announced.
The story is pretty dope.
There are actually enough differences between the show and the comic that it probably wouldn't matter. 🤷
@@noided9381 I mean the only the show does differently is rearrange some characters and changes the story a slight bit but Robert said he was going to adapt the comic but just a few changes
I enjoy it when heroes and their significant others have a good life.
Its a shame the immortal doesnt have a more established background. Id love to see more about his accident and the years following
I think that your next invincible history video should be on Cecil Stedman he seems pretty interesting.
I really like how Omni-Man and The Guardians we're friends and actually kind of liked each other before Omni-Man wiped most of them out. It just adds more weight and meaning to the situation at least in my opinion.
Man I love immortal characters I feel like they have the best complex story arc when you take into account they don't die/stay dead, The immortal apathy towards love is a common theme for character that has immortality that you keep seeing your love ones come and go.
I can't believe the first thing I noticed was you using the same background music as Trash Taste.
I’m pretty much watching the same video over and over again...and i’m not complaining
Immortal everytime he gets killed: "I'm alive but I'm dead"
You know to be honest, I'm so happy for immortal (I wish he didn't get killed so many times however). I really liked him as a character.
"He is not called Immortal for nothing"
Mauler Twins
I'm excited to see how the animated show would play out this romance dynamic expecially that the given issues shows more screen time for the supporting cast, expecially Duplikate & Immortal.
Your videos are really good. High quality, your effort is noticable.
Thank you for your videos. Always wanted to read invincible but either didn't have time or the money
Getcomics has free online comics if u really want to read Invincible
Vandal not so Savage.
Lmaoo
Nice play 😂
Vandal Civilized
@@howdycrusader355 Sophisticated Civilian
Seeing as how he got 'killed' by a bullet, I think he gets stronger over time. Like how muscles grow back stronger
I always imagined his body eventually adapts to weapons he never fought before.
Guns were not around for the first 1000 years of his life so he didn’t build resistance to it and then afterwards he adapted, like that lizard from the SCPs, it’s body adapts to different weapons it never fought before.
Great video. Very entertaining. The work required to produce something like this must be beyond
I love immortal he’s really awesome
Wow, I’m early. Nice video and wondering can you do Rex next.
An Immortal comic would be so fuckin sick
I like the background theme music, the same one Trash Taste uses lol, its so chill.
Loving the TT Podcast BGM XD
Glad he got a good ending, a lot of characters don't get that in this series
The Immortal has to be the most intresting character in the series imo.
So non of the doctors tried sewing the Immortal head back to his body?
Well he never died before. So how should they know? :D The Mauler twins where the first to try it.
Bravo to the editing and presenting it, there is something calming about your vids bro ;)
For someone who’s immortal this vid is short but still a great video
The immortal's theme song:
Well the years start comin, and they don't stop comin, and they don't stop comin, and they don't stop comin...
Make a story about "Conquest", the strong Viltrumite that almost killed Invincible.
Immortal is the vandal savage of image comics
Immortal is trying to break the record of Loki's deaths.
The Immortal: He cut my head off and bisected me!
Crowd: He did all that?!?
The Immortal: .....................I got better.
Awesome vids! It's bout time to cover my man Cecil now!!
I realized just from looking at immortal in the comics, I think mark got inspiration for his suit from the immortal. it's clear they both have yellow and blue but with the exception of the immortal not wearing a mask and has white stripes on his suit.
Immortal probably has the most interesting history of all the characters in the comics, but it's unfortunate he is usually just part of a plot point and not a focus
hehehe OMNI-MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN *ragecrashes into him* :D
I thought the immortal *was* abraham lincoln. Where do you get that he "replaced" him
I can only imagine how it would've been from the time of witnessing Abraham Lincoln to learning about him all the up to 1930 and seeing a human flying but also asking yourself "Is that Abraham Lincoln".
We need an Immortal tv show
Goodmorning everyone, have a good weekend
