Who the hell is thumbs downing this?? Great story. I'm am elementary school Custodian and we do so much that no one sees. People think it's an easy job but it's definitely not. Especially with Covid. I was always told, the principal, secretary and custodian are the three most important people in school.

Man, I miss Washington Middle School. Felix is such an amazing person. I would walk by him everyday and he would greet me with a smile. My brothers and mom knew him. Everyone knew him. He is such a friendly guy. He would come up to me and give me loads of helpful advice. We would speak to eachother in Spanish as well. Super, super proud of him.
Felix is the best! We were happy to be able to share a day in the life of Felix. As the Asst. Principal said, "Felix is the hardest working guy on the campus." Such a kind, gentle, loving soul and who daily strives for excellence in his job. We all love Felix!
yeah iam the only janitor and maintence guy at the school I work at its hard to do every thing by your self with the teachers asking where I was they should try doing it

i was a school custodian 40+ years at Grand Blanc Schools in Michigan. so i know a little about it. People don't realize there are a few tricks to the trade in this job. you go Felix!
I am glad you have a great person working hard for you all and don't take it for granted . I myself started as a janitor and it is hard work but I have my reasons , lot of people would tell me why a janitor . I don't know what this people think about this job .

Some of these teachers at most of these schools let their students trash the classrooms and eat in the classrooms and have a lot of spills and want the custodians to mop their floors everyday they should start mopping their own floors and then they would see how custodians feel that have to mop everyday.
He's doing way more than what a custodian should be doing. Like leaving the building to pick up trash etc that's a different departments job, the groundskeeper and so on.

Never work for a private company doing this kind of work make sure you work for the school not a private company especially Pritchard Industries they treat you horrible

Yes. I worked for a private cleaning company for 4 years and another one for 2 years and never had paid personal time off or any vacation time. Not to mention unreasonable time constraints at each location.
It’s a nasty job cleaning people bathroom at the the job I really hate doing this stuff Disgusting people shitting on the floor people don’t wash their hands believe it or not when I see the shit on the ground I just ignore it so when the next night crew came I let them clean it off on the floor honestly stuck in shitty job and people are disgusting seriously specially at retail stores we doing the shit for three years and it’s nasty sometimes when I see shit on the ground I don’t even clean it i’d like the next day or next girl clean it off

I go to that school and I saw him in person and today is the day that I found out that he's in a video

I do maintenance/custodian work in my school and the pay is good and i get benefits and a retirement pension

I remember when asst. Principal Eric Gothold, was our art teacher back in '99 & '00.
