Oh, these two. I love reading body language, and believe they reconnected during the reunion tour. They were on the high of new found success again, and sold out stadiums. You're singing songs you wrote about the other, and look at them as you are singing them, opening that emotional door to get the tone in your voice right for the audience you are performing for. It's a tricky thing that line of work. You have your life that you have, and a wife and kids, the house, your circle of friends. It's trickier when your job is you performing on stage with someone who is like it or not your soul mate and you are opening these doors over and over again, where in your personal life you suppress all these feelings toward that person. Up there on that stage, you don't have to pretend, or suppress anymore, part of the job is relaying this to the audience, so the relief they must feel for those 3 hours of just being honest to themselves, and each other, and not having to pretend, and I think during this time it spilled over into the time they traveled on the road. I've seen them many times where I could tell they resented each other, but would carry on with the act, but not like it. Then there are times like this, where it's genuine, and it's reciprocal, and as always, it's a complicated mess.

honestly whether you think the interaction is scripted or not.and it may be that doesn't negate the fact that they have a very powerful and painful history that they are reminded of every time they perform...it has to be emotional. If they chose to channel that emotion like they do I'd prefer it than ripping each other's head off. Lindsey and Stevie talked to each other on at least four occasions between 1987 and 1997: (1) at Mick Fleetwood's wedding in 1988, (2) before and after the last two gigs of Fleetwood Mac's 1990 tour, (3) before and after Fleetwood Mac's performance at Bill Clinton's inauguration ball in 1993, and (4) during the recording of their duet "Twisted" in 1996.
Lindsey just found out Kristen was pregnant. He and Stevie had been working toward something during this tour. Wasn't in the cards. This was the final show of the tour. A year later, Stevie wrote Thrown Down, Fall From Grace and Smile At You.... The lyrics of those songs fill in the blanks.

I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert 6 times! Sadly, we will never hear that chorus of Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, & Stevie Nicks, ever again! Christine left our world on November 30, 2022. She has joined that band in heaven that is beyond gorgeous! On November 25, 2022, Lindsey was rushed to the hospital & underwent emergency open-heart surgery. Sadly the haste of the surgery badly damaged Lindsay's vocal chords! According to his wife, they do not know if the damaged was temporary or permanent. Lindsey was living on borrowed time, as he lost his dad & his brother to heart disease & when he started having problems on 11/25, they immediately rushed him into surgery to safe his life.

I think it's both an act and also not. They obviously have a deep connection for each other, but they also play it up on stage. I don't think they act like that in private. Also, this was performed before Lindsey was married with kids yet they still do the same stuff on stage today. If it were 100% genuine I think the wife might have a problem with it.

A little clarification on S & L; Long story short is Stevie was not only the reason they broke up but also the reason they never got back together. When she said “we’re done” that was the end of it. So while she went on having several relationships one of them being Mick Fleetwood, I mean come on, I love Mick but that was low of them to carry-on in front of Lindsey pouring salt into his already wounded heart. His best way of coping was to find someone else to love him; I’m sure he loves his wife too, but I doubt there’s anyone that could break this bond.

Each one has a different truth. Fleetwood Mac is no more and Christine no longer feels pain. We mourn her passing. We mourn a group of very talented artists.

Lindsey just found out Kristen was pregnant. He and Stevie had been working toward something during this tour. Wasn't in the cards. This was the final show of the tour. A year later, Stevie wrote Thrown Down, Fall From Grace and Smile At You....

Christine left our world on November 30, 2022. She has joined that band in heaven that is beyond gorgeous!
On November 25, 2022, Lindsey was rushed to the hospital & underwent emergency open-heart surgery. Sadly the haste of the surgery badly damaged Lindsay's vocal chords! According to his wife, they do not know if the damaged was temporary or permanent.
Lindsey was living on borrowed time, as he lost his dad & his brother to heart disease & when he started having problems on 11/25, they immediately rushed him into surgery to safe his life.
was this the same concert where Lindsey surprisingly kissed Stevie while Go Your Own way, and she didn't look amuse by it..seems like if at the end here he was trying to apologize or something? I think she did! Love their never ending love story..

Stevie found the man in him to LOL just because she met him as a teenager really don’t mean nothing she grew with him they struggled together and they also became successful together she stated that he was the love of her life and I’m sure she was the love of his life as well and apparently -So.In The late 90s they both were trying to be lovers again and give their relationship a try another try until the girlfriend which is now his wife stated to him that she was pregnant with his child.Lindsey decided That the honorable thing to do Would be to stay with the girlfriend instead trying to work things out with the love of his life????
I read somewhere that Lindsey's wife said the "The Stevie thing " was stronger than she imagined. I think it's just something you accept and go on with your life but Stevie & Lindsey are forever connected. 💙

I think it's both an act and also not. They obviously have a deep connection for each other, but they also play it up on stage. I don't think they act like that in private. Also, this was performed before Lindsey was married with kids yet they still do the same stuff on stage today. If it were 100% genuine I think the wife might have a problem with it.

Wow! Is he actually crying? Damn! That’s heavy! Buckingham’s wife must really love him to be able to tolerate this bond that he & Stevie have. I don’t think I’m equipped to be in her shoes. A little clarification on S & L; Long story short is Stevie was not only the reason they broke up but also the reason they never got back together. When she said “we’re done” that was the end of it. So while she went on having several relationships one of them being Mick Fleetwood, I mean come on, I love Mick but that was low of them to carry-on in front of Lindsey pouring salt into his already wounded heart. His best way of coping was to find someone else to love him; I’m sure he loves his wife too, but I doubt there’s anyone that could break this bond.
That’s incredibly one-sided of you. Silver Springs was written during Rumors, but Lindsey vetoed putting it on the album. And it was about him and Carol Anne, the woman he was dating at the time. They have both hurt each other over and over again. Lindsey isn’t some innocent lamb.

Its their own act they've created over the yrs, if not there wouldn't be any drama that was the way of Fleetwood Mac. It did play out with Buckingham's exit, did he leave, did Buckinghams wife call it, did Stevie tire of the act, did Mick Fleetwood let him go. You see we will never know. Each one has a different truth. Fleetwood Mac is no more and Christine no longer feels pain. We mourn her passing. We mourn a group of very talented artists.
