I was standing right in front of her during this song and it was heartbreaking. She was trying to desperately not to break down. You could just see it in her eyes. It was raw emotion.
@@Chewi863 I hope it had more to do with her mother passing, though her mother died in 2011, and while it hurts to see her sad, any reason would be preferable to carrying a torch for Lindsey. It literally sickens me to see such a beautiful soul be still torn up by that petulant man-child with the pinched up little rat face. Let's just say I am NOT a Lindsey fan in any way, and I hope he never comes back to Fleetwood Mac. That said this is truly a lovely song it's just a shame and a pity that Buckingham had to be involved in it and share the stage with her.

That's a real tear jerker for sure. It's really amazing that after all these decades, people STILL want Stevie and Lindsey to be together. I don't know if there is any other famous ex-couple that brings out the sadness that their parting does even today. She's a class act, Lindsey is a killer guitar player and all of Fleetwood Mac is one of the best bands ever. I wish I could see them one day. Thank you all of Fleetwood Mac for your gift of great music for so many years.
+Suzanne Hedderly I missed FM in their recent tour this year, I have been listening to them all my short life (17) with my dad loving them, and recently got into them and now can't say I love another band quite as much as FM. I hope you swell as myself are able to see them one day before they stop touring and end up with the other greats in heaven.
lachiereyno345 ... I’m 63 and my 21 yr old granddaughter send each other music videos via text. She’s in St Augustine (Florida) and I’m in Atlanta. She has a great music soul and loves my old music. Her birthday is in June and I already have her birthday card. It’s got a drawing of a young Stevie Nicks on front saying Rumour has it.... its your birthday. It’s so her. So happy you are loving FM. 🌺✌🏻🦋
there’s definitely people in my life that if i sang a song like this to, i would cry. it must be a wild experience to be stevie or lindsey and have had played music like this right next to one another. even years after their relationship ended. that shit doesn’t just disappear.
Their love for each other is beautiful and heartbreaking. You can definitely see the history between them. They came up from the bottom together and fought for everything they have. This is what true soul mates look like. Soul mates aren't always romantic, they are two peoples souls that just clash better than anyone else possibly could with them, even if their personalities don't. Stevie and Lindsey are soul mates.
She definitely still has love for him ,it is written all over her face. There is always that one person in life that has your heart to the end no matter what the circumstances.
She swears that Joe Walsh was the love of her life but I don’t believe it for one minute Dallas was the love of her life he swears he found his soulmate and his wife but I don’t believe him Stevie was his soulmate you can see it written all over both of his faces wonder together
I find these two people so fascinating. They have known each other for almost 50 years now. Sad that it didn't last but thank goodness it didn't. Without their love and subsequent break up, we wouldn't have the soundtrack of a lot of our lives. Very touching to see despite it all, the love is there.
I can't stop watching this video of Stevie.....this is exactly why we love & adore her so much. She's so real, no pretenses....And not afraid to show her vulnerability......she'll always be my only #1
And it's wonderful to watch the emotions from an authentic, graceful beauty. Seeing her here, she looked fragile, vulnerable and oh so anguished. It was amazingly beautiful because it's real. Botox shows no emotions, Stevie bares it all.
***** Definitely Philip Philips. Did you see Stevie on Idol when she told him that if he'd been with her and Lindsey when they were invited to join FM, he would have been also? And then Jimmy Iovine, who's worked with her for years, pointed out that he even resembles a young Lindsey; did you see her face? She turned totally red, and fumbled for words. I wouldn't be surprised if they reshot part of that. But the big question is, who in the world could possibly do justice to her? Even if they dub the singing, I can't imagine anyone as strikingly beautiful, as petite, and even IF they dubbed the singing, even her speaking voice is so distinctive. I think it would be a search much like the one for Scarlett O'Hara. In fact, I think it would be easier to find someone who can portray Janis Joplin than it would be to be Stevie Nicks.
And I pray daily that they get back together before it is too late because they and their story deserve the best ending possible and I am not sure I can accept any alternate ending!
+angelofmydreams 26 You put it in the most beautiful way I have ever heard. I also pray daily that they get back together before it is too late. And I also am not sure I can accept any alternative ending! Some miracle of fate has to bring them back to each other forever. Like Stevie always says, if enough people put a wish out in the universe, the universe conspires to make it happen. There are so many of us that want them back in each other's arms, I hope all of those wishes can make that happen. I mostly wish that for Stevie and Lindsey. It is so obvious Stevie will always be "his Stevie" and will always be his first choice and true love. It is also obvious Stevie will always love Lindsey, and was probably hoping her and Lindsey would find their way back to each other later in life. It seemed like that might have happened until fate tore them apart again. So yes, you are so right, they and their story deserve the best ending possible. What I would give to know what Lindsey said to Stevie after the song ended, as he held her and comforted her. The whole video made me cry so much, and that ending especially, it broke my heart!
Debby Chuk , thank you so much for your sweet comments and it is so nice to know that there are others out there that feel as I do. As for the video- being that Stevie is pretty emotional by the end and Lindsey is demonstrating care, concern, and reassurance- when I watch this (every time that I watch this) I get a very strong vibe that he is reassuring her that he will never say goodbye to her again, that he can never really say goodbye to her!!!
Very moving. True love never dies and Stevie and Lindsay are so obviously soul mates, as this poignant and beautiful duet clearly shows. Despite their very public estrangement in the '70's, Lindsay has always 'worn his heart on his sleeve' with regards to his feelings for Stevie, but this very emotional reaction from her, allows us to really know her true feelings for him. I am sure the romantic in all of us would like to see them end up together, but that kind of love transcends all boundaries, even lifetimes, so one day in the future, who knows when, they will surely be together again.
This absolutely broke my heart. Its very clear that they still love each other even after all these years, all the songs, the drugs and the fights. They really are each others soul mates. I haven't cried like this in a long while. Thank you so much for posting it
+Kristen Dubois Stevie and Lindsey's love for each other is something I can't put to words, it's something i've never experienced or seen and just breaks my heart, I hadn't cried swell in a longtime until I read into their past relationship, the lyrics of their songs, and the live performances where it's just so clear they love each other :(
+Kristen Dubois Ignore that last troll! This is clearly genuine emotion! You can't fake misty, sad-eyes like that unless you're an Oscar-winning actress, which Miss Nicks clearly is not. They have buckets of money! They'd never have done "Tusk," if they just wanted cash. They were clearly each other's 'big love," and being in a band together delayed closure for them both after their break-up, so, of course, there is going to be some lingering sadness. If it's real love, you don't forget!
+Werner Voss I was not talking to you, Herr Troll, now was I? Anyone with any ounce of emotional intelligence can tell that the tears welling up in Ms. Nicks' eyes were not fake, nor was her melancholy countenance. If Nicks had wanted to make big bucks, she would have dressed up in barely-there outfits, the way so many of her female counterparts have (and nothing wrong with that, if it fits their style). You can move on, you MUST move on, and still hold a torch for someone that can always be sparked in the right circumstances. The sooner you learn this, the sooner you'll have a chance at leaving the chains of trolldom (-dumb). P.S., L.B. wrote this song THREE YEARS after he married his current wife, and five years after the birth of his first child with her!
+Werner Voss I understand exactly what your saying and I do agree with you to an extent, but what I'm saying is that in this moment all the bullshit has washed away, they are each others soul mates and you cant fake emotion like that. They do love each other just in a different kind of way now, that's all.
Even though Stevie is happy with her life without a partner or children, I do not believe that she has absolutely no regrets about not having that. I think here she was thinking of what could've been and how things are now. They were together then ended it, always had that chemistry even in hard times but now he is happy with his own children and spouse. She knows it's over. Really over. Not saying she WANTED to get back together, but it's still very sad. This was a beautiful moment. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I love you Stevie.
Pity though that she wasted so much on such a total jerk, I am NOT an LB fan at all and I wish that Stevie could just erase him entirely from her mind but I guess it isn't possible, though hopefully he is fading into some dusty corner.
Arla Abrell - Stevie did the breaking up & screwing around real quick with Mick then moved onto other male rock stars.. I took off my ‘rosy-colored glasses’ concerning her.. maybe you should too..
How much he truly always loved her, and the mixed explosion of emotion in her eyes, this kills me, I feel both of their emotions so strong right here and it's incredible, mind blowing, and certainly heart wrenching
Stevie looks world weary here. Its an emotional song too, when you know the story of them being together pre rumours, you realise how emotional it is, and im sure there are many of us watching this who miss that special someone from our past too. The one you let go of because you made a wrong decision and you never found that 'thing' with anyone else, and you cant go back because circumstances hav changed. Very emotional song
Stevie is crying through this whole song. 😢 A love that could not hold.....She is thinking of Lindsay...and what could of been? 😭 Both their hearts are breaking. 💔😢💔😭
This epitomizes the absolute heartbreak of what could have been, encapsulating Stevie and Lindsay's relationship through the years. When you're young, life is so sweet and even heartache is not as raw as when you grow older and only have memories. Reminiscing when you have many more years behind you than in front can be a hard and bitter pill to swallow. 😢😢😢😢😢
This song REALLY rips at my heart, clear down to where my soul is. I believe it was written based on a lot of personal life experiences, a lot of pain, that brought about a profound understanding of life and relationships. This song, TO ME, represents a lot of hard learned life lessons that causes appreciation, often too late, for those you left behind, those you lost, and the times that it was YOU who was left behind, and the times we did not realize what we had, and maybe the times someone else didn't comprehend what THEY had! Hearing this song and seeing the pain on Stevie and Lindsey's faces, hearing it in their voices, is almost more than I can bear, and sometimes I wish to never hear this, ever again. That, my friends, speaks to just what great poets, song writers and musicians they really are.
I was thinking the same thing, I just wasn't able to state it as you have. This song rips me to the very fiber of my being, and the scars are there to prove it. Thank you.
Every time they look at one another it's just there, the love never stops, it can change, but never stops. I think for their fans we will always see them as "together" because they made such an impact on each other and made their indelible mark on music which transitioned to their ever-loving fans. It's official, we love them, for their ups as well as their downs; for their youth and naivety to their maturity and wisdom. He has known her since she was 17 years old; that's a long time to spend with someone in any type of relationship, which leads to the never-ending and endearing heartfelt emotions they feel for one another. They do have a respect for one another and rightly so.
If your a fan of FM, you know that a lot of the songs are songs written to each other through their lyrics, you really feel part of that if you've followed them for a long time. It's not just about the music with them, there's so many layers and I can't think of any other band that does that. Legends in every way. Love them.
+johnyasmin13 I agree. I think Lindsey dedicated the song "To the beautiful Stevie" before it began. I suppose while the song was playing, memories were flooding back to her, it definitely has heartbreaking lyrics, and to know they're aimed at you, must be hard to hear, let alone sing harmony with him.
UA-cam won't let me give this video a thousand stars, but that's what it truly deserves. I've never cried so much in ages. I don't think I've ever seen Stevie completely lose it like that and it just broke my heart. Her beautiful, eloquent speech at the end was sheer magic. What an enchantress. She's captured my heart. And, is it just me, or does Mick have the luckiest daughters in the world?
One of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Lindsey and Stevie have a love/hate relationship, can't stay together, but are emotionally attached forever.
I love Stevie, have said many times she is the most beautiful fragile girl ever and I was lucky to see her with the band at the Cotton Bowl Dallas in 1978. She also broke down that afternoon during the show and was taken off stage, oh I love this woman and she is still the most beautiful I've ever seen.
+heaintloveu Fleetwood Mac. were massive then and the pressures were intense so yes, but what a tremendous singer of great songs ?.Still love her stuff these days and she is still the most beautiful woman I ever saw.
They are both brilliant and overflowing with talent. Together - what they can do escalates exponentially. I LOVE their Buckingham Nicks album - good grief it is a joy. In the years since BN, you can see how they feed off of each other and draw each others' talents out. Are they good performing without each other?? Absolutely. Are they better together ?? YES, in my simple opinion. I'm happy that he is happy - and I am also sad as I had tickets to see him in concert (which was COVID rescheduled and cancelled). Darn, I was sad and mad. I did get to see FM on tour (sans Lindsey) and it was a great show - but I felt the void. There was a spot on the stage that was empty. I wish the whole band would get their shit together, put their differences aside and perform together - for now a drive-in concert would be amazing. They have a magic together - and none of them can be replaced when they perform as FM. (His acoustic talents (wow), her vocals and stage presence AND the electricity you feel when they are together cannot be reproduced.)
It’s heartbreaking seeing what real connection they had together! Hope what’s going on in the world just now will make them realise life’s too short and mend their friendship!
It's a deep love they have that will always be there. But their personalities are too strong for it to ever have worked in the long run. Of course there are regrets, but only in their later years have they even been able to be civil to each other. As much as we don't want it to be, it is what it is. He's married with children, something she evidently didn't want due to her gypsy lifestyle. She chose to dance across the stages of the world instead. But damn, their heartbreak has given us some of the best music of our lives.
Sharing such deeply held genuine life experience with the audience sets true artists apart. Somewhere in the 80’s pretentious and shallow music began to take over. Thank God for people like this making the sacrifices necessary to tell their stories and share their gifts.
I love how humble they are and it just seems they become more and more so as the years pass. I myself love to talk, tell a story and share good, exciting and interesting news with whoever will listen!
I can relate to Stevie's urge to stay after the encore, after the curtain, after the bow and all other members have exited (she is usually the last one standing) to be not only intimate but giving with her fans but at her age, the number of years she has been performing for us, the number of songs she sings over the course of ta concert night, not to mention the same songs night after night for months on end, also taking into consideration her status as a celebrity, a respected wealthy, talented and stylish individual, a rock and roll icon and all her dues well and truly paid, even with a dedicated, loyal often obsessed fan base that will continue to grow for years to come even if Stevie chose to never sing or record again - Yet with all of this she gives us more, she goes above and beyond, she goes the extra mile and carries us with her. I don't know of any other artist who can compare in that act of selflessness. I have seen her with Mac and solo a total of 13 times live in concert and not only have I never been disappointed but each consecutive performance between 1989 AND 2009 IN 7 cities between USA and Australia and Stevie was noticeably better each time. Stronger vocally, even though I cherish many of her wild moments, some of which Mick has likened to an exorcism, which are wide in range and emotion from poignant and fragile to violently intense and captivating. For as many years as she put that extreme performane out there, had she continued without refining her technique and polishing the sound, she would not be physically capable of completeing a concert and probably not even a decent rendition of a song. We still enjoy a songstress with talent who offers a sound raw, unique and passionate, rich in character and expression and I feel at times otherworldly and always recognizable. Stevie Nick's voice and song fill a very unique place in my being. I would not know or understand that part of myself or existence without the beauty I am bleesed with in my personal experience of that music, her voice and her spirit which shines through it all. Thank you again Stevie AND Fleetwood Mac. You complete me! LOL
That song is magical. And magically strange. I don’t know how you can mix that intense picking with such sweet gentle emotions. Somehow it blends into this baring of souls. Wow.
..... Its a very intense and emotional song ,when you know the story of them being together pre rumours, you realise how it is, and im sure there are many of us watching this who miss that one person from our past too? The one you let go of because you made a wrong decision, because you had issues, because you weren't mature enough and you have never found that 'thing' with anyone else, and you cant go back because circumstances have changed. Very emotional song
i was there from NH, she had many of her fans choked up almost like (she had capes pulled around them tight) crying for the nightbirds. So raw and true emotions a vegas night I will never forget. May god bless this woman
It's been said she was so emotional because she was thinking of her mom...who she was very close to & had died 2 yrs before this. Either way...heartbreaking. And I want to acknowledge Lindsey's excellent guitar work in this. His talent is so exceptional.
I simply can't watch this video again without crying. Even if Stevie's tears weren't entirely a reaction to the sadness of the song, which she's sung with Lindsay many times before (I don't know how. I'm a strong person but I know I couldn't do it), whether they're also tears for the recent loss of her mother, and the bout of pneumonia she'd had, which I had also in spring of 2013, and know well how drained and depressed it can leave one; still, her tears, along with the lyrics and the brilliance of Lindsay's guitar solo accompanying their harmonies breaks my heart, and I can't take it. So I wish Stevie all the love in the world, and Bright Blessings. Maybe someday I'll be able to watch this without feeling like my heart is being torn from my chest. But until then, I have to "Say Goodbye" to it.
The raw emotion in this performance is beautiful. The love between Stevie and Lindsey will always be there. Stevie explained it so eloquently at the end. Pure love for Fleetwood Mac and their music 🥰
There Will Absolutely Never Be Anyone like Stevie Ever Again. No One But Her Can Sing and Show Real True Raw Emotion, She is The Most Beautiful Magnificent Woman Ever and She Always Will Be. I Love Her with My Heart and Soul Forever💖💖💖
Thank you for uploading this vid. If anyone can watch this without getting emotional they have no soul. Every time I see them perform this song my heart aches for them. Sometimes, no matter how deeply you love someone, things don't or can't work out. This is a beautiful song of closure.
Goodness me I cried all they way thru that! i have been so lucky to have experienced them live 2 times last year and i am forever changed x love this song and love Stevie and the Mac
Dealing with emotions of feeling old things bubbling up, having people “cheer your love” on, knowing it will probably never ever be again, that it really is goodbye, that must be incredibly hard. How she got through the song at all 🙇🏽♀️ she’s one tough cookie 👌🏽
Stevie Nicks, well what can I say, you are truly a deep and caring artist who has dedicated your whole life to music both solo and with the Mac an fd been at it for such a long time and I must say still captivating audiences around the world. We love you Stevie and Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!
Thank you so much for posting this! It literally made me cry. I have loved FM since I was a little girl in the 70's. Stevie was, is, and always will be my all time favorite. She's my idol. Their songs, both FM and SN solo stuff are literally the soundtracks of my life. My kids grew up listening to them. Her songs got me through some of the hardest times in my life and were the background music to many celebrations in my life as well. It's funny how listening to a song can take you right back to the past memories of whatever was going on at the time when you first heard it, like when it first came out on the radio and when the album was released etc. I can only imagine how she feels singing them, considering she wrote them about her life. I've been following the ongoing Stevie-Lindsey saga all these years, as many of their fans do and I always hoped one day they would get back together. I know a lot of the back story that's been written and taped, interviews, books, etc. I've probably seen just about everything that's out about them. Their songs themselves are like a diary into their history, the drama, the love and the fights etc. I have seen them in concert/live many times (both FM & SN solo) and their ongoing feelings and chemistry are always so obvious when they're on stage. I think one of the hardest parts of aging is seeing your idols aging also. I think this footage was perhaps Stevie finally coming to grips with the fact that it's too late for them to ever get back together, the dream is gone he finally moved on. Even though she always said they both know they can't be together that it would never work, I can't help but think she was waiting for him to change. Waiting for him to maybe love her more than his past jealousy of her would allow, for him to get over the resentment and competitive feelings and all the negativity he had from back in the beginning when she unknowingly stood out, rising to the forefront of FM, her rising fame and popularity and her solo success. Now he's married to a younger woman and has 3 kids. Stevie chose her music over marriage and kids, as she's stated many times. I can't help but wonder if she regrets that decision sometimes. But her music has brought happiness and joy to so many people like me and I hope she continues to write and perform because I'll never get tired of her music!
Ohhh God please stop the pain for yourselves & all & PLEASE JUST BE TOGETHER!! A Love like this is once in a life time, STOP FIGHTING IT, GET OVER THE PAST & SPEND WHAT TIME YOU HAVE LEFT TOGETHER! LIFE IS WAAAAY TO SHORT- STOP TORTURING YOURSELVES- LOVE EACHOTHER TENDERLY NOW!!! ❤ BEAUTIFUL SOULS BEAUTIFUL MUSIC BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES FLEETWOOD MAC! THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR ICONIC RAW BEAUTIFUL TALENT WITH THE WORLD ALL OF THESE YEARS! XX
I went to the same concert tour in Chicago, and I remember them singing this song. Thanks for sharing. We didn't have great seats but just being there was a thrill for me. Had a few tears. I was able to see Stevie when she did her solo tour and I was 2 rows back. Thanks again.
What a GREAT SONG! It fits so many relationships ..... So you face yesterday Thinking on the days of old And the price that we paid For a love we couldn't hold I let you slip away There was nothing I could do That was so long ago, yeah Still I often think of you I fall down, I get up And I've always had to fight Everything that was wrong For the things that were right Now I finally found my way Now I know just what to do Once you said goodbye to me, yeah Now I say goodbye to you It's so hard to find your way When the lies come around Still it happens everyday So don't let it get you down Just a time within a time Just a scheme within a scheme A little world within a world Yes, a dream, just a dream Now…
You truly grabbed a moment in time. I saw them perform this in Tampa 1st row in June & while it was emotional, not this emotional! Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Pulls the heart to the core; I must admit I like them both, their music and their talent, wish they could have a good discussion and resolve their differences.
I Love them so much. I am crying like a baby right now. I need help as I live in the past and suffer from severe depression. For those who believe in Jesus, prayers would be welcome. Thank you Stevie and Fleetwood Mac, my favorite female artists of ALL time and my favorite band. so many memories, but sooooo many tears. God bless you and everyone watching this. someone is going to make a movie out of Fleetwood Mac one day. They are part of our American/ British lore now.
What a story.
Tom Davie I hope so.
You said that beautifully
She still loves him, it's very obvious. Also, LB's guitar playing is truly amazing
They never really break up! they always togethers wanever he was married with anothers women! NICKS she the reason why Lindsey divorced!
@@maggie4396 I believe they canceled the divorce.
+Werner Voss Nah - they're clearly not actors. You cannot fake that.
Wow that's a beautiful way to look at it. It totally makes sense too.

"Great American Love Stories"
Beautifully said. I totally agree. And I hope Stevie knows she is always loved, truly.
stardusth2o - It was her choice to blindside Lindsey with her leaving him.. after him making sure she was included in the band..
This type of love seems like something only found once in a lifetime...
@@jayannakelley9051 Lindsey cheated first, they both said it in a documentary.
Jen Hernandez - ok.. didn’t see that one I guess.. ahh well.. that’s been what 50 years ago? Who cares at this point..
When will they finally realize they belong together? If they don't, Lyndsey - I'm available. 😘
Yes so true in their case.
This makes the tears flow, but they never said goodbye, they are a spiritual couple that will go into eternity on the wings of their song.
My biggest regret in life is not going to see them during this tour. I hope Lindsey finds his way back and we get another chance. 😭
One of the most beautiful moments of this show, luckily I was there.
Omfg cry so hard every time I watch this! Need to stop watching this at work ahha
same
It's very hard to watch Stephanie! I know how you feel. I'm sure you're a big fan also of FM and SN.
If tears could speak...this hits to the inner core of your soul...Rock on Stevie,Lindsey & Fleetwood Mac...
"The timeless face of a Rock n Roll woman, while her heart breaks..."
I agree her most vulnerable moment on stage. Unbelievable beauty and talent
the connection between them is heartbreaking and beautiful
When you love someone truly love someone you never stop loving them.
Love them.
He wrote that song just for her!! There love was a one in a life time love ❤️🥀I couldn’t have done it well done Stevie and Buck
Stevie is such a true artist. Cries and bleeds her lyrics and melodies.
Linsey and Stevie always manage to create such great harmonies.
I JUST WANNA GIVE HER A HUG RN AWWW DONT CRY STEVIE
I as there and cried during this performance. So did a woman next to me. Great show!
Brings tears to my eyes. Don't know how she does it.
I was feeling this so hard. When you have loved someone so long and so deeply and you know you will never find another like it ever again😭
Stevie, dear Stevie, i cried right along with you!
The "epitome" of aging gracefully..love these two forever!
this is love. this is pain disguised as a dream? memories! are garunteed to break your heart.💔
The history between them is untouchable. The love they have for another touches my heart. Love Fleetwood Mac always n forever ❤
What did she say at the end? I know it’s been a while, but would love to know.
One of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Lindsey and Stevie have a love/hate relationship, can't stay together, but are emotionally attached forever.
I think these had something so deep that they will always have it in their hearts xx
That moved me to tears. So emotional heartfelt and sad
+Alan Bodell I was also at that show, Alan. It was quite an afternoon -- thanks for reminding me how special it was.
She was crying and upset?
+heaintloveu Fleetwood Mac. were massive then and the pressures were intense so yes, but what a tremendous singer of great songs ?.Still love her stuff these days and she is still the most beautiful woman I ever saw.
Alan Bodell: she is definitely a very strong feeling woman and a very lovely soul.
Do they have any videos on here from the 78 show you are talking about?
Seen it before, very very TOUCHING, these two will never ever get over eachother .. .. Sad and profound.
Welshwitch her biggest regret was not having children.
Correction: her biggest regret is not having children with him. She's said before she would've wanted it all, but with him..
Welshwitch very true!!! Freakin sad!!!!!
Soulmates. When life separates you, but the love is always there.
Sharing such deeply held genuine life experience with the audience sets true artists apart. Somewhere in the 80’s pretentious and shallow music began to take over. Thank God for people like this making the sacrifices necessary to tell their stories and share their gifts.
I think for her, it was only her and Lindsey there.
I feel like they still LOVE each other and it will never go away
LOL
nice
This is so beautiful & heartbreaking! If this doesn't affect someone watching this, they have never been in love..they should be together ❤️
Damn. He went from writing go your own way to this.
That song is magical. And magically strange. I don’t know how you can mix that intense picking with such sweet gentle emotions. Somehow it blends into this baring of souls. Wow.
That was the saddest damn thing I've seen in a long time! Heart wrenching!
The raw emotion of love. So beautifully written & performed. I wonder what he said to her after the song. Stevie & Lindsey forever.
it always breaks my heart to see these two together and you can see how much she suffers
Awwww....Stevie, you are so loved by your fans!! What you felt in this song, we felt. Love you sweet lady!
This is very emotional to watch, cannot hold my tears
This is such a beautiful, emotionally packed song,...and an incredible live performance by Stevie and Lindsey!!!💔
"A little world within a world
Yes, a dream, just a dream"
soul mates never die u.u
True love never ever dies and memories are garunteed to break your heart 💔
This video punches me in the gut every time. Thank you for capturing this moment.
It's been said she was so emotional because she was thinking of her mom...who she was very close to & had died 2 yrs before this. Either way...heartbreaking. And I want to acknowledge Lindsey's excellent guitar work in this. His talent is so exceptional.
I just read that her mother died one year before this video.
If you have a dry eyes after watching this, you have no heart. This is so beautiful, and seeing Stevie cry is so sad. What a beautiful love story.
This is the shit!!!!!!!! You captured a truly special moment!!!!!!!!! I just wanna hug her.
***** You're so right. What a fan her mother must be (if that's her real name. And even if not.)
*****.....dude "this is the shit" is a good thing not a bad thing.
Sara Rhiannon
Leigh Barth Sounds like it was probably a combination of many things. Such an emotional time for her from the sounds of it.
The raw emotion in this performance is beautiful. The love between Stevie and Lindsey will always be there. Stevie explained it so eloquently at the end. Pure love for Fleetwood Mac and their music 🥰
This Is Not Prefabricated, THIS IS REAL
There Will Absolutely Never Be Anyone like Stevie Ever Again. No One But Her Can Sing and Show Real True Raw Emotion, She is The Most Beautiful Magnificent Woman Ever and She Always Will Be. I Love Her with My Heart and Soul Forever💖💖💖
Thank you for uploading this vid. If anyone can watch this without getting emotional they have no soul. Every time I see them perform this song my heart aches for them. Sometimes, no matter how deeply you love someone, things don't or can't work out. This is a beautiful song of closure.
They really belong together, but i think she realises there is no turning back. So many regrets.
AGREE
Goodness me I cried all they way thru that! i have been so lucky to have experienced them live 2 times last year and i am forever changed x love this song and love Stevie and the Mac
2 beautiful people and great musicians! What a band!
I love Fleetwood Mac I have since the 70's.
Dealing with emotions of feeling old things bubbling up, having people “cheer your love” on, knowing it will probably never ever be again, that it really is goodbye, that must be incredibly hard. How she got through the song at all 🙇🏽♀️ she’s one tough cookie 👌🏽
a very private...public moment.
Well put!
Ahw this is a beautiful moment. Thank you for putting this up.
It's beautiful to watch this. So thanks a lot!
I cry every single time I watch this... If you know there past this song will make you weep.
So heartbreaking yet beautiful.
They deserve a docu series and Broadway
Ohhh God please stop the pain for yourselves & all & PLEASE JUST BE TOGETHER!! A Love like this is once in a life time, STOP FIGHTING IT, GET OVER THE PAST & SPEND WHAT TIME YOU HAVE LEFT TOGETHER!

im just cryin, this song is so powerful and timeless
I went to the same concert tour in Chicago, and I remember them singing this song. Thanks for sharing. We didn't have great seats but just being there was a thrill for me. Had a few tears. I was able to see Stevie when she did her solo tour and I was 2 rows back. Thanks again.
Sad to see her cry. Got me crying too.
I cry every time watching this ugh!!!! what a women
What a GREAT SONG! It fits so many relationships .....
So you face yesterday
Thinking on the days of old
And the price that we paid
For a love we couldn't hold
I let you slip away
There was nothing I could do
That was so long ago, yeah
Still I often think of you
I fall down, I get up
And I've always had to fight
Everything that was wrong
For the things that were right
Now I finally found my way
Now I know just what to do
Once you said goodbye to me, yeah
Now I say goodbye to you
It's so hard to find your way
When the lies come around
Still it happens everyday
So don't let it get you down
Just a time within a time
Just a scheme within a scheme
A little world within a world
Yes, a dream, just a dream
Now…
You truly grabbed a moment in time. I saw them perform this in Tampa 1st row in June & while it was emotional, not this emotional! Great video. Thanks for sharing.
OMG I have CHILLS !! they loved each other and it shows in her face
Amazingly, what we thought we wanted when we were younger only to know our heart tells us differently. It's bittersweet.
