Had figured Sam might not be a bike rider but good on him for engaging in your (and everybody here's) passion for bikes!!! Really enjoy your updates and adventures Juliet. 😀😀
Hey Juliet. Don't worry about the loss in power in this TT event as it(power) will come back. I had a crash a few years back (on vacation in Hawaii) that required an emergency total hip replacement and I was off the bike about 1 month before I got back on the bike. Currently, I'm at where I used to be from an FTP standpoint. I also continue doing physio and off the bike things like yoga and strength training, but not at the gym. Best of luck on your recovery. BTW I found your channel when you did the Sufferfest 4DP test. LOL
Juliet, I've had the pleasure of following your cycling life on the UA-cam videos for many a year and it's been a real pleasure sharing your experiences along the way. Particularly uplifting to see you back on a bike after your crash, well done kiddo! Also it's jolly good to see you looking so happy too, your kids really look such a bundle of energy and fun......I wonder where they get that from? Thanks for providing a real 'pick me up' tonic in the midst of winter on a wet n' miserable Sunday morning ....Interesting to hear that your other half is a sailing man...brings back memories from the early 1980's when I too sailed and windsurfed, so here;s wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2025, keep the videos coming.
I seen a guy fall on his MTB and got dirt in his eyes because he had the magnet eye goggles too. They look cool but won't help if you fall. Good to see you riding again, the suit is awesome.
I am happy to see that your recovery is going well. I hope you get back to as near to 100% as possible. I just love the way you Brits pronounce vitamins. In America, we pronounce I as a long I, as in I hope the best for you.
How many watts does it take to have fun? Perhaps that is the parameters we should all concentrate upon!?🤔 Kudos for including the kids in your adventures, they'll remember it..always!😊 Glad your injury seems to be less intrusive, and you seem happier. Never done any TTs, not really my thing. It looked interesting though. Can't wait for the nice weather, to get out and do some bikepacking. Take care Juliet!😊
Glad to see you back in the saddle again. I didn't finish the "festive 500" this Holiday season, but would like to offer several workarounds. 1) Extend the "Festive 500" to the full 12 days of Christmas. 2) Covert the "Festive 500 to the metric system to equal 500KM (310 miles). 3) Combine 1 & 2 to equal a happy holiday riding schedule! Happy Trails
kudos for the skinsuit TT style & in winter :) most of us struggle to get them on when we havent just broken bones in our arms only weeks ago and are still recovering, it looked like you had fun though, and was a good fun club event, so thats the main thing Id say and the watts will come back for sure.
Hey Juliet. You have been missed. I’ve watched you do track crits and other races in the past. I’ve learned how to train better because of your videos. I’m glad that you are better now. Injuries suck. Also Idk about the scam thing people are talking about in the comments, I hope this does not discourage you from showing us your world. You’re a strong woman and I admire your drive to keep on keeping on. Happy New Year 🎉to you and your loved ones.
Really nice to see your recovery is going well but can’t help be a bit worried you might fall and further damage your elbow 😬 (totally your choice though 😊)
Real shame AG1 has forced its way onto most fitness tubers, and they accepted the deal for $. Its shady as hell. C Ashenden, founder has just resigned as his criminal past has caught up with him, that left many people homeless and out of pocket that were caught up in his scams in NZ.
That was a pretty good ride, especially after what you've been through. Well done! It brought back warm memories from a very cold day, back in 1964, IIRC. It was possibly the very first New Forest CC Boxing Day Ten. The overnight temperature was down to 17F (-8C). My only concession to the cold was to wear a string vest under my club jersey. 🥶 It took me about three miles to warm up, and then I didn't feel the cold. I can't imagine doing that now.
Knee cap broken, 2 operations in half a year later still lost 30% power. Probably won't get that back before another operation next year... They put a cable around me knee cap which hurts already with climbing stairs.
Any PAs out there for Juliet: Right, your head is screwed on, you've got a bike, tyres pumped up, accessories charged, lights on, rego bibs done ... ready to go 😅
Juliet, you are welcome to borrow my TT bike if 56cm size suits you, and I live only a few miles from Exeter. Oh wait, that's Exeter, New Hampshire in the US so I guess that won't work, but you would be welcome otherwise.
Nooo, not AG1. Credibility lost I’m afraid. I understand the compelling 30% ongoing commission from every £100 per month referral sale, but it’s been absolutely debunked as snake oil by pretty much every credible nutritionist on the internet who’s looked at it…. Sorry, subscriber lost.
I am so glad NOT to see hand held video from the ride. I fret every time I see you holding your phone/camera while you're ridding. Stay well, get better, and good going!
Sniffing like an addict.AG1 really works hey? Why do people devalue their brand by endorsing this absolutely unproven garbage. Literally every single you tuber spews the bile.I guess Blueetti next ......
Great to see you back and recovering well Juliet🚴♀👍
Many thanks!
Had figured Sam might not be a bike rider but good on him for engaging in your (and everybody here's) passion for bikes!!! Really enjoy your updates and adventures Juliet. 😀😀
You look genuinely happy these days-love the new vibe🤙🏽
Well Done Juliet.❤ You’ll get there. All of your priorities are very nicely balanced and safety first has to be a priority going forward.❤
Miss Juliet, It is grand to have you back and you seem so happy. Glad your rehab has come along well. Always look forward to your updates.
Thank you so much!
I am really glad to see you back at it again.
Thanks so much

I just love the enthusiasm you have even when you just see someone riding a bike past you 👍

Well done, enjoy watching and good to see you back on the mend.
I loved seeing you in family mode, looks like fun 😊

Good to see you back again. I don’t bother with cycling in December or January. Too dark and too cold

Great job. Heck it's just scary getting on the bike after a bad crash, and the road conditions were not optimal at all. You are a trooper!
Thank you 🙏

Considering your recent injury and the course that was pretty good going. Well done.
Thank you
I love the Teign Valley road, will have to look out for TTs that use it!
6:17 sams rolling his eyes! i think you look great ..... although when you said road racers club i really didnt expect any super aero helmets
Winter pipe opener ! Save your pb for the warmer months 😊
Well done Juliet welcome to my World. ‘The Race of Truth’ are hard so again well done especially after your recent accident 😎
10s are great fun, and now CTT do a road bike category you don't need a TT setup. Just race yourself endlessly!
Thanks Juliet I always enjoy your vidoes
You look BADASS!!! And the helmet isn't that pointy. We had much longer ones in the 00s. Looks modest in comparison.
Love the helmet! Nothing silly about it at all. You should use it more often, and it actually looks like it might be better in the cold weather.
RB TT are my thing, have you considered the nationals in April? It's up in Yorkshire, plenty of great riding. Well done
Really nice to see your recovery is going well but can’t help be a bit worried you might fall and further damage your elbow 😬 (totally your choice though 😊)

Love your smile😁😁

7 minutes in.... **Laughing** "This is going to be a disaster" . I love it. I feel that way often!
Oh no Juliet! What have you done getting on this AG1 over priced marketing scam! 😢
Worrying about time and watts is for the kids. Did you enjoy the ride? Yes? Then you win! Stay safe, keep riding.
Last time you wore a skinsuit someone wanted to buy it! How long ago was that?
you've defo got yer mojo back! Great to see.
Bit Primoz Roglic with that timetrial helmet!!
Knee cap broken, 2 operations in half a year later still lost 30% power.
Probably won't get that back before another operation next year...
They put a cable around me knee cap which hurts already with climbing stairs.
Well done good job.
I have a Smith, but it's far from aero. Of course, I'm far from aero as well.
Any PAs out there for Juliet: Right, your head is screwed on, you've got a bike, tyres pumped up, accessories charged, lights on, rego bibs done ... ready to go 😅
Super je doet het maar weer 🎉🎉🎉
you looked awesome!
Happy New Year 🤣
M o r n i n g !
This was a fun video.
Ha, he confused skin suit with Birthday suit!
Just get out and ride ….Well Done Juliet
Certainly looked the part 8:20 ish
AG1 is a sketchy company.
The protein “ingredient” used to chirp like Jimanni 😂
“Eat Zee Bugs!”
For sure.

Oh Juliet please not ag1 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
Look at you in a skin suit again.
Spiked tyres for winter rock

And? Which place of how many riders did you achieve?
General?
Females?
Females of your age group? 😉
It’s a club Boxing Day TT so not really the point 😅
