Human flag with your size, and making it looking so easy... That's some crazy core strenght.
I work hard at it man. i think everyone can do it if they dedicate themselves
never seen a dude that size do that. too crazy. gives me hope lol
Most people who could do it are actually really muscular
@@Joe-os2dd hundreds of thousand skinny street work out kids do that the world ovee
@@AbesamisM Check out a couple of top strongmen. Rauno Heinla does flags over 300lbs and wsm Martins Licis has done them too. Plus a few others.
Solid video Brian, you're putting good work in the youtube fitness community keep it up brother
AlphaDestiny Alex!!
Thanks brother, i really appreciate you saying that!
You two should collab sometime.
I'm willing man, but I am the more small time guy, so they don't have a lot to gain from doing it.
Brian Alsruhe With quality content like yours, you ain't going to be a small time guy for too long.
most underrated fitness channel for sure.
Thanks for saying that man!
Brian Alsruhe hey Brian whats a good routine/program for Who can only workout 3 days/week? and want to get jacked like you lol
I write personalized programs brother, but if you don't want to pay for one look into 5/3/1 or the cube method
Brian Alsruhe thank you
Happy to help man!
You should rename all powerlifting/strogmen exercises.
stone picky-uppy.
cable pushy-downy.
front sitty-downy getty-uppys.
Hahaha I'm trying man!
Pretty sure brian was the guy who named the walkie talkie
Man you deserve so many more subs
best unknown fitness channel.
Thanks man, hopefully they will come in time!
Brian Alsruhe I'm sure it will. Hey do you have any grip training videos?
MonsterBeastFitness true
I am getting ready to do the grip training one and it should be out very soon!
You're like a giant ninja strongman with the way you move and have good control of those movements! It's awesome! I'm a little guy and can't move like that...time to start trying...
Just gotta work at it man! Baby steps, it will come!
love those black and white cuts
Glad you like them man!
This channel is absolutely what i ve been searching for a long time! Thanks man!!! Keep it up!!!
I came back to this post hysterectomy surgery. Lets get some core strength going again!!!
The first exercise/que/tip is the best thing I've heard regarding abdominal training. Been doing this for month or so and started incorporating it in other ab exercises like scissors or crunches. This stuff feels really good. Thanks Brian!
Dude, I just started watching your videos and this is like one of the best youtube lifting channels ever! I'm really binge watching here, need to walk my dog soon.
Really loved your overhead press programming video!
That is great man, i am glad you are liking them!
Wow. Just found this channel and I'm happy I did. Quality, no nonsense lifting advice and quality footage of heavy lifting.
Loving it.
Thanks!
That's great, I am glad you found it man!
The best, most useful channel I have ever viewed. I'm about to turn 44 and I am retiring from the navy this year. After 20+ years of dieting and maintaining my weight below 200 lbs at 6' tall, I'm embarking on a journey. I want to start powerlifting/strongman. I want to put in the time, food and training to get big, massive and strong. This channel is the first place I go to for learning the best practices. I know none of this will happen overnight but I'm driven and patient. Thanks Brian for the motivation you provide me.
Just subscribed to this channel, great videos and I love the positive atmosphere. Years of hard work and you're sharing your knowledge for free, thanks for the generosity. I will recommend it wherever I can.
That is so awesome man, i can tell you how much I appreciate you spreading the word!
thank you so much Brian, as always! bringing them into our team training this Friday 😀
That is awesome Liza!
love your videos man keep up the good work huge inspiration for me I recently started lifting doing some power lifting with the goal of getting my strength up to do strongman
Awesome job yours and Alan's channels are gems in the saturated fitness section of UA-cam,but you guys set yourselves apart because of your down to earth, easy to understand, and follow advice, keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for saying that man!
Just came across your channel because of Omar. Man, love your videos. Subscribed!
Just found this channel
loving it. Dude u are are great talker. This channel should blow up
I'm honored to be one of your first subscribers that followed you since the beginning, and I wished on every video that you could gain more subscribers and views and hopefully make a full time living out of that, you truly deserve it brother, now i know that it's just a metter of time, thank you Brian.
Wish you the best to you and your family.
That would make me so happy man! Hopefully it will happen in time!
Yesssss I've really needed something to do besides dumbbell side bends for my obliques. This video is gold. Thanks, Brian!
Glad it is helpful brother!
AWESOME !!! Really like the variations !
Another great one. Really appreciate these videos. Keep up the insanely awesome work
Thanks so much Mike!
Brian, love your passion and enthusiasm. Very few people can convey this through a video and you do it very well. keep it up! Your channel is gonna be huge.
This is some great content....nice work Brian
Great stuff Brian! Found you through Alan. Been at the gym for 6 years, first weight loss, than cardio endurance, now trying to get stronger. First two were easy, but getting stronger is a really really tough grind for me. Cannot even pull 315 yet. Saw a guy my size doing 405+ with a trap bar. Got me even more motivated to go at it.
Anyways, keep up the awesome work! Subbed :)
You're the man, Brian. Thanks for all the great content!
I am on a watch spree and i am enjoying every second of you videos, man. BIG LOVE.
Thanks so much man!
thank you so much for all those tips, I really needed to watch the video a couple of times, there are just so much excersises to choose from and give them a try.
That is awesome man, i am glad it was helpful!
Very helpfully. The ab pushy outty at the beginning was the one I found the most unique . I've never heard of them but I be they work great.
I thought hollow rocks would be easy. Halfway through that tabata, my core felt like literal hell. Thank you so much for continually giving me new ways to haze myself.
Hahah they are SOOO much harder than they look!
Nice to see a guy as big as you doing ab rollouts and even some gymnastics oriented exercises. I subscribed because you are very diverse in your workouts and I can definitely see myself applying your practical knowledge to my workouts as well, even though I am into gymnastics rings training.
That is awesome man, I really appreciate you doing that and thank you for the kind words!
Amazing advices/ channel, keep it up man
great tips! Thanks Brian! Happy new year!
Thanks brother and Happy new Year to you as well!
great video - as always
I agree! Squats will do wonders for the mid section.
Seriously man. You put out good stuff into the world. I'm always stoked and ready to go hard on my lifts everytime I see your videos. You're an inspiration for guys like me beat up with injuries to still push and get strong. Keep up the good work! Greetings from India
Thank you so much or saying so man, I can't tell you how much i appreciate that!
I feel honored that I think I came in when you had about 2000 SUBSCRIBERS and you did the video with Alan Thrall, Now you are over 10,000. Won't be long you will be over 50,000.
Man, that would be absolutely amazing!
Awesome video man, some really creative exercises and great to see some stuff besides the usual.
That's great man, i am glad it was helpful!
I especially like the ab pushy outy things and (APOTs) and the bandy twisty things (BTTs)
Hahaha yea...I like to make up words...
+Brian Alsruhe we call that personal style. ;-)
Hahaha!
Yes great way to crush your lower disc in your spine. What a silly exercise. You should stick with strongman stuff the stuff you know. Your advice on the stuff you don't know about is injuring people.
@@Singletracklover lol
Hey Brian, the OHP is a great compound movement for the core, too. Since you're leaning back to press the bar straight up, your core is working hard to hold that weight in place.
Huge fan of your videos, been watching since Alan Thrall's shout out. Cheers.
Great stuff!!
Fantastic video!!
Thanks Randy!
Brian you keep me motivated to lift. between you and Alan I have learned a lot and added so much new stuff to my lifting routine. added farmers walk and after 2 months consistently doing them it's starting to show. just added the circus dumb bell and that is so much harder than it looks. only downside is people sometimes look at you strangely. sadly I go to a commercial gym.
Hahaha yea man, but screw them...Soon they will be mimicking what you are doing, I guarantee it
nice video and perfect in timing! A friend and I were just running out of new ab exercises to do after training haha
Glad it will be helpful man!
dude! I've been doing wipers from the bar ever since I saw you do em in another video. I gotta pull my knees in but it still looks pretty badass! LOVE the oblique variations. cable twist and Russian twist were getting kinda old. the tip on core position is a total game changer. you da man!
Thanks man, i really appreciate that!
Your core strength is insane .... I will try incorporating some of them in my program!!!
Hi Brian, i started today the overhead side bend with barbell, i lov them! PS: i love u and alan, best coach on youtube
Love this channel dude, hope its gonna blow up soon. You deserve it
Man, that would be amazing, thank you!
Good stuff Brian......
My favorite "core" exercise are heavy squats-beltless. Seriously I have had to cut my squat session short because of how sore my abs were. That said I do like doing some russian twists or some oblique crunches, and leg raises, but these are all done at the end of a workout NOT as the main exercises. Great suggestions in this video Brian.
More great tips -- although a couple were waaaay outside my ability at this time! Lol! Rocky movies (except Rocky V -which I pretend never happened) are thee best. I would say they are my all-time favorite. Looking forward to the new shirts! The hoodie looks great!!
Thank you and yea, Rocky V should be scratched from the record!
awsome video. knowledge is outstanding!
That is awesome to say, thank you!
Bandy twisty things... you have the best words lol. You definitely gave me some interesting ideas to work with here brother, thanks again for the great content. Stay strong, stay awesome, I'm definitely looking forward to more to come.
That s awesome, thank you so much Timothy!
Great list. Thanks
Thanks for watching brother!
I really REALLY needed this video! Thanks man!
Happy to help brother!
This was great and informative. Definitely gonna implement them.
That's awesome , man, i hope they help!
This video was great. Thanks Brian. Subbed.
Thanks so Much man!
Fat, twisting handle things...PHRASING! I pulled a back muscle doing the windshield wipers once...still don't know how that happened. Seriously, I had to take notes on this one. I usually can memorize content, but this one was a doozy. Name and description was necessary. THANK YOU so much for taking time to inform and entertain us. You're the best!
Hahaha glad it was helpful man!
Brian, great call on those "Bandy Twisty Things!!" Just tried them today. Very difficult, very effective! Certainly will become a staple of my core routine.
That is awesome man, thanks!
brian your ability to put your own experience into words is amazing most people will struggle a life time with the messes in their heads.
would you consider doing a video about how to aproach a PR lift day(main 4 ) I am getting really close to hiting 2\3\4\5 on the 4 main lifts and noticed that the right set-up , warm-up and working up to the PR weight can make all the difference. hope you understood what im getting at :)
awesome channel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely, that is actually one i am looking forward to making in the very near future!
UR CHANNEL IS GROWING!
Hahah slowly but surely!
Awesome Video Bro and Excellant Excersises. Look foward to ordering A NEVERstate shirt friday.
That would be awesome man, thank you!
As ever fucking awesome video. I watch a few, but your channel is one of the best. 👍
How does this guy only have 73k subs? He deserves at least 300k!
Came here from Alan's channel, glad i did, great video
That's awesome man, thanks for doing that!
Thank you posting this video, I've implemented some of the exercises into my slow cardio and core day!
That's great man, glad it was helpful!
It also got me to look you up on instagram! Nice to see you posting there too.
That's awesome man, thank you!
Incredible knowledge. Tons of jokes here and there. Straight to the point. Alright you got yourself a new subscriber!
Thanks man, I really appreciate that!
HOLY HELL I KNEW IT! BRIAN IS A POLEDANCER! that intro 10/10.
Hahaha...I have been caught...
Love the subtle ...and unsubtle ...humor!! Great video. Windshield wipers are the devil!!!!
Hahaha yes!
Very good!!!
These are some great ideas. I like the idea of standard core on leg day and obliques on upper body days. I some how never noticed. and I am SO STOKED on the shirts. I saw that on instagram.
That is awesome man and I am really glad you found the video helpful!
Finally core workout on youtube not abs aka crunches thanks man
Excellent video
Finallyyyyy. Thanks Brian!
Thanks for watching man!
This "series" is really excellent. A "how to Squat" series (like bench and deadlift) would be great - especially talking about sticking points. My PR went up significantly on both bench and deadlift after watching your series and using your pointers.
It has already been made man! it is 3 parts and was the first one of those I did so hit may be back a little bit
fantastic video great exersices
Thanks for watching ti man!
Amazing stuff
Thanks for uploading

You are so easy to watch... subbed!
not only is the information really fucking useful but damn youre entertaining to watch with your black and grey commentary lolol
Athlean X
Yo Elliott
Thenx
Scott Herman Fitness
Omar Isuf
AlanThrall
Mark Rippetoe
Buff Dudes
All channels that I have learned a lot from over the years and I still love these guys
But Brian's channel reigns supreme over all of them in my opinion. I learned a TON from Mike Mathew's book, 'Bigger, Leaner, Stronger,' but I have never seen more increases in strength gains than under the advice of Brian Alsruhe. He definitely deserves hundreds of thousands of more subs.
Man that is so cool! Thank you so much brother!
this answers a loootttt of questions..
thanks Brian!!!👌
Thanks for watching it man!
Ur content is best on the internet which really works and is unbiased..
Ur sample free strength program is the best.. I can feel the pains and gains than the conventional workout plans..
Thanks for ur efforts Brian..👍
That is so awesome man, thank you for all that you said!
Great vid,
Thanks man!
Awesome 👍🏼
Thnx man this is interesting
Great video Brian. The only problem with your channel is that you are so ridiculously strong that you are a little beyond inspiring to "that's just not possible for normal people"
Black and white Brian gets me through the day
Hahaha glad you like it man!
Same, lol
for super grip and core stabilization I do one arm hangs from bare of granade leg rises . thanks for great video I will try few other veriations and defiantly farmers walks one hand as I have only one bar 😊
That is awesome man, great suggestion!
Another great video. I got to start doing planks again!
They definitely help out man!
Nice man, rock solid advices I was looking for. I'll implement 70% of those excercises into my ab work( 30% already doing % 😅 ) and next week starting with overhead day on cube method as well as testing it with my friends with different variations. Thanks brother 💪
That is awesome man, I am glad it gave you some new ideas!
Brian Alsruhe Glad I recieve them 😆
Happy to help man!
great video content. can't neglect power development on the mid section.Talking about apparel, the logo on your hat is an old school olympic snatch stand I think?
Yea man, it is a rogue hat. I just like the colors and style
Dude this guys hilarious love this fitness channel
Thanks man, i really appreciate you checking the videos out!
Great VID! Brian! Those "aside's" you do to emphasize a thought crack me up! Great work man! Also my old ass will definitely be trying some of these! I will need an address to send the medical bills to! Kidding I'm kidding! No really!
Hahaha send you can send them to john Cena's house...people think i am him anyway!
LMAO
Hahaha!
11k subs, seems like you're making it happen, bro.
Hahaha slowly but surely my friend!
I always called those band pully twisty things the "why won't this lawnmower start" because that is the closest action I could associate with that movement, and I also never knew what these where called.
Great stuff man! Just Subbed! You should do one on "Diet" for Powerlifing/Crossfit/ETC!
Thanks for doing that man and I already did, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/PV95dgbQW30/v-deo.html
1:53 had me dead man. Also ab pushy out thingy is pretty cool but I think I'll have to do them when my gym is empty to avoid attention (my gyms really judgmental). I know you said yoke is powerful way to work the core so if you don't have that would walking around with a barbel in your back work? Or maybe walking around with the barbell overhead? Also have you tried the Otis up? And the band twisty thingy as you called it I honk they're called woodchops
Nah man, i wouldn't do that simply because if you tripped while doing that and went head first, you literally may die. Dangerous games my friend
Wow.. only 3 dislikes and even still they are not at all deserved. Great video!
Thank you so much!
I got winded just watching this :) awesome content
