His music was both Black & White & resonated with all Americans for that reason. It was a reflection of our true diversity. It was just truly American Music.
Either you liked him or not, you can't deny he was a true genius : he played piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums, wrote all his songs, note by note, he was a great dancer and singer as well...Yes, i call it genius. RIP Prince.
There was a rivalry between Prince and Michael Jackson as they were the pop superstars in the 80s and early 90s. Michael Jackson had alot of help getting to were he was. As in starting out with the Jackson 5 and his Dad as pushing for there success. Anyway when it comes to Jackson and Prince i have much more respect for Prince. He came up by himself unlike Michael. Michael was a talented singer and frontman with all the dance moves. But Prince could sing and could dance too!! Plus he could play the strings of a guitar. He could tickle the keys on a piano very well. He was also a great drummer. He was a master of multiple instruments. Instruments. Now thats what I call mega talent. I am also a Jackson fan but as far as an all around talent artist. I definitely give it to Prince!! One of my favorite Prince memories burned in my brain when he preformed with Tom Petty and others. They preformed While my guitar gently weeps. While Prince didnt sing but he stole the show while taking over with a guitar solo. Then at the very end of the song he tossed up his guitar to the heavens lol. It was awesome. The guitar he was playing is a knock off brand of a fender telecaster called a Mad Cat. Before that performance you could buy one for a very reasonable price. But after the performance Prince himself made that guitar jump up in price on par with the costs of a real fender Tele. Lol.
Why would you keep bringing up this every time you have like four documentaries on him doesn't make sense you keep bringing up this part about him and the bad things that he's done in his life how many wishes some of y'all would just leave him alone let him rest he's been resting for a long time what good are y'all getting out of keep showing this please let my brother rest we all love him we all wish you were still here

The talent of Prince was astonishing, so was the number of instruments he could play proficiently.
The 1980's is my Home.
Legendary 💜
When regular old white folks from Minnesota show up to Paisley Park in tears speaking of the legend of Prince shows you how great he was.
The word genius is used too often. He was a genius. Did think the ideas had run dry by the end though

I forgot to mention that you could watch that performance here on UA-cam. If you haven't seen it please do!!
Prince Rogers Nelson definitely could play any kind of instrument! But Michael Jackson could 🤔only sing and dance 🕺 🤔 😄!

He was so beautiful. His music passed me by at the time but never will again. His death smacked me in the face, truly special and in God’s arms
