As far as I’m concerned, there are no dark secrets about Sade. She’s human just like all the rest of us. I love her. I have always loved her. I named my firstborn daughter after her. She showed me how to be a lady. Sophisticated melodramatic, and sultry all at the same time. There is no one in the music industry like her. I met her when I was 12 years old. She was on her way to Zomba recording studios in Willesden. She was in a car and I spotted her and she called me and my sister over. She told us to come down to the studio and hear her recording. My grandmother wouldn't let us go. Sade was lovely gorgeous looking so young then and gave me and my sister time and signed photos by the side of the road that day. This was 1982. I'll never forget that moment.

She probably didn't want to compromise her music for the industry like Madonna did. After Madonna signed that new deal in 2009 with interscope she never sounded as good as she did in the past. She sounded like everyone else, she no longer had complete control over her albums and how they came out. Her album out put has been minimal since she left because I think she realize she was ruining her legacy. He newer material did not match her age when her older material did. People will make you disappear, Sade is one of the smartest artist out there enjoy the fruits of your labor. You can't go on forever anyway eventually people will stop listening or you will run out. She will never be forgotten she left on a high note and left us with some masterpieces.
Boy do I remember her first album Diamond Life came out in 1984..if ever I had a stressful day..put her songs on and just relax..I'm in my 60's now..and still I relax to her music..(had mad crush on her too)..but I was in my 20's back then..still love all her music..too bad she isn't making more of it.

I’ve never been captured by an artist or band to that capacity. It took me back to the 80’s when dreams were new and I had the whole world ahead of me. I immediately regretted not having the experience of seeing Sade in concert ever…. And so…I dove deep and have been obsessed with watching all the many years of live Sade concert performances ever since. Sade is timeless, unique and so beautiful. WOW! Sade’s, soulful, smooth, voice/music, just transported me to my youth . Coming home late at night with her music playing on a cassette tape in the car. I regret not taking the opportunity to see her in concert when she came to Sydney, all those years ago. My friend had gone and loved it. Seeing her in this video has renewed my enthusiasm to listen to her sultry music again. She certainly had a presence on stage and is a timeless talent.

Sade was a mistery to me because she used tradicional Spanish clothes, as elegant as her voice and talents. I'm from Spain and I heard she was with a Spanish guy who didn't treat her well...no surprise but at that time I wasn't a teeanger any longer and I was in survival mode. Wife and I saw her in St. Louis. Hard to believe it was 13 years ago already - one of the finest concerts we’ve ever seen in in our lives. John Legend was the opening band, who was wonderful in his own right. Her commanding presence and vocals were mesmerizing. And after their last number, when she walked off the stage barefoot, we were missing her already. 😢

Sade is such a jewel to behold. I had the opportunity to see her on her Love Deluxe tour at the Beacon Theater in NYC. A very classy and beautiful individual who cherish her private life immensely. I love you Sade and your music is timeless and authentic.
I have been a fan of Sade (the band and the woman) since the first record. She is the pinnacle example of remaining true to self and living the best life unapologetically. I eagerly await when the next eclipse (new Sade album) happens. Her music is like a natural occurrence and always worth the wait. If you have not seen Sade in concert, you should catch them if/when they tour again. She creates the ultimate vibe, unlike any other artist.

Wife and I saw her in St. Louis. Hard to believe it was 13 years ago already - one of the finest concerts we’ve ever seen in in our lives. John Legend was the opening band, who was wonderful in his own right. Her commanding presence and vocals were mesmerizing. And after their last number, when she walked off the stage barefoot, we were missing her already. 😢

I am a musician from Falmouth Jamaica, I love her music, it relaxes me especially when I am driving alone at night, she's one of my favorite artists in the world of music....about her little problem with the law in Montego bay Jamaica, she can come back here now because the police, judge and Clerk of court, and everybody else who are involved in the case are all dead, she has nothing to worry about.
It's hard not to be in awe of this woman; she is so gorgeous and her voice is a dream. My teenage son was the one who introduced her to me, he was madly in love.

I was 15 when I bought her first album Diamond Life in 1986. She influenced me musically but also her style of fashion and her cool. I just loved her! And I still do.
Restored Sade's first three releases to my collection last month! ("Stronger Than Pride" has always been my fav!)This queen rules, 'cause these tracks are still fresh. They relax & inspire me.
