Man, I went to the ends and almost gave up with other tutorials but your video was incredible, very well explained, congratulations and thank you very much for the content ;D
Thanks a lot for the tutorial. This is my first time messing around with simulations in Houdini, and I was wondering if it's possible to create a loop out of this? I wanted to bake the simulation on a vertex animation texture and I think it makes sense to make it loop somehow. Thanks so much :)
It's possible to loop it. Generate a cache of few frames. Then create a freeze timeshift and a blendshape nodo. Then just animate the cached one to the timeshift with the blendshape. Don't know if I explained well hahaha
Sure! the challenging part is to transfer the data between the different software but every day it's getting easier. The point is to use the best from each program 😉
Thanks man! So you can do the vellum stuff and father the cache you can create a RBD sim. You can Shatter the tree branches and then you can define i@active or not in order o make them fall
omg. youre too good and explained it so simply. awesome!
@@SandhuSurajveer thanks dude!
Oh man, I wish I found your tut earlier! Very well explained and easy to follow 🙌 Thanks mate!

Thanks so much for the answer :) I will try it out in the next days, I'll let you know
houdini is in my opinion the best 3D software ,i think that unreal and blender with houdini is the best combination

Dude are you The VFX School - Houdini Renascence Program guy? familiar voice :)
hahaha noo but I have some friends there
Thanks a lot! It was very useful. How could you solve to break the branches with a dynamic simulation?

@@marcdomvfx Thanks for your quick reply. I will try it. Maybe, if you have time, you could make a tutorial on this as well?
nice tutorial
Thanks dude!
can we use this for games any method
Hola Marc! De donde puedo sacar modelos como esos de arboles?
Hola! Yo siempre utilizo sketchfab o Cgtrader Te dejo los links: sketchfab.com/feed (en filter pon "downloable") y www.cgtrader.com/
How can I make that with several trees in one scenario?
You have to create the setup for each tree variant and then time offset the sim to get variations in the simulation
