- Doing a muffler delete on my old car! Replacing the muffler with two 3 inch sections of pipe on a e46 325xi wagon!

I have an e46 325i wagon, not x drive though, just cut off the muffler but wasn't sure what's next, thank you!
Mines the same way it's honestly not loud enough for my liking. I just sold my completely straight piped 545i and after that the amount of noise is very underwhelming
i think his voltage was too low. welds looked like they werent pooling properly

What are the size adapters im thinking bout doing 3inch
On this car we used 2” to 2 1/2” adapters to 2 1/2” to 3” inside diameter

Not much, you don’t even have to yell to talk to your passengers

Yes! Everything was completely stock. We only removed the muffler!

Yes! It’s really not that loud in the cabin
why do some burble and some dont
I’m sure it comes down to tuning and what other engine/ exhaust mods have been done to the car

Still sounds meh, you need to change the cat as well which is still standard and muffles too.
