    Lmao to infinity and beyond. Personally after watching a ton of sound tests from different mods and exhaust I think the muffler and res delete is the best sounding on the base e46's

      @@armandosky might wanna get that sorted. All your gonna due is damange the crank and rod. more and more. Main bearings aren’t too hard to do on these cars. Pull the front subframe and oil pan and they are right there

    The rear muffler should always stay in place IMO. Changed for a cheap-ish sport one, like the TA Technix and then just remove the resonators. Makes the car sound much nicer.

    Which resonator do I delete? I like the muffler delete but it’s too quiet for me. Thank you 🙏

    • @armandosky
      @armandosky  2 роки тому +1

      I personally went with the resonator delete closest to the engine bay instead of the one near the muffler. It’s not super loud but it’s not quiet either, it’s right in the middle 👌

    Can you pass emissions with the resonator (close to the engine bay) and muffler delete ? And also would it turn on a check engine light?

    • @Zoinkinator
      @Zoinkinator 5 місяців тому

      it will only give an engine light if the cats are being deleted and stuff

    That poor car,, lol sounds good tho I have a 328ci I’m trying to decide between which resonator to delete, with the muffle delete

    • @armandosky
      @armandosky  2 роки тому +1

      I’d say the resonator closest to the engine bay if you want it a bit louder. There’s no drone in mine so I don’t think you’ll have any drone issues if you go with the one closest to the engine bay.

      @@armandosky Facts. Got an 04 myself and did a delete on the first resonator closest to the engine, and the muffler. Absolutely zero drone or change in mpg. Here’s a tip: If your E46 is an auto try driving it in manual. It sounds waaaay better that way. I never drive mine in auto since I discovered the sound improvements manual mode delivers. Thank me later!👊🏽💯

    How’s the drone, I have a muffler delete rn but wanna take off the big resonator to get some more sound and pops

      I honestly don’t even notice the drone, I highly recommend it it’s insane 🔥👌

  • @abolysh
    @abolysh 2 роки тому +3

    So how did it affect your fuel economy? I'm thinking if I do straight pipe it all the way should I tune it or not

    • @armandosky
      @armandosky  2 роки тому +1

      I didn’t notice any changes in fuel economy however if you want some loud pops then tuning it is the way to go

  • @2fast4ubby
    @2fast4ubby 2 роки тому

    Is it obnoxiously loud? I have the same car and been wanting to do this for a while.

    • @armandosky
      @armandosky  2 роки тому +2

      It’s not too loud or too low in my opinion, it’s the perfect pitch 👌. You should start with a muffler delete first and work your way up to the resonator. Trust me it sounds good in person
