A very poignant one - there are some parallels with Bowie’s last album - they knew that their days were numbered, and some of the songs touch on the last great human taboo - mortality. I’m glad that Jeff Lynne and Dhani finished the project off for us........

So many reasons Why George Harrison connected so well with Jeff...Some facts about Jeff Lynne (ELO)...First, he is a very humble man, simply because this Music Genius is not interested in fame, the limelight, and money, he just loves to create great music. Jeff Lynne is one of the most versatile musicians ever, this is why he is considered by his peers to be among the greatest. He didn't stick to one style of music because, after decades, it gets boring. Jeff has done progressive Rock, Symphonic Rock - Pop, New wave, and Disco. Everything he does turns to gold. During Jeff Lynne's ELO 2019 Tour, many reviews agreed in saying they are the best live Classic Rock Band in the world still touring and Jeff Lynne is a Music Genius( From Forbes Magazine and the Washington Post). ELO is in the Rock Hall of Fame. Lynne is on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and Birmingham Walk OF Fame. Jeff Lynne’s ELO won the Best Classic Rock Band plus Lynne won the best Songwriter award ( ASCAP ) in 2019 for his fantastic contribution over the years. In October of 2020, Jeff Lynne has been made an officer of The Order Of The British Empire for his extraordinary contribution to music. He created the best Super Group of all time with his best friend George Harrison, The Traveling Wilburys. The release of Now And Then last OCT certainly made it seem almost true. It's a bizarre thing to hear such a familiar voice echoing back across the years with such relevance and immediacy. I think for me George's music is going to continue to do that too. Despite loving John & Pau's writing and voices, George has always been guilty favourite in a way that is quite hard to fully explain. I listened the Early Takes Vol 1 CD from the Scorcese movie last weekend and then the demo at the end of my Gone Troppo CD. It's like George is in the room with you at times. So, so beautiful. His solo acoustic work is truly as soulful as his slide work.
I remember being 12 years old standing on a chair in the front row at the Cow Palace looking straight into George's eyes. I saw the sadness of the situation of seeing young girls being handed over head to the ambulances because they had passed out from screaming so much. Well I wasn't hearing much of the Beatles even standing on the first chair of the front row. But I knew George didn't like it either. The girls were screaming so loudly nobody could hear the Beatles. Still it was great to actually see them. And to stare into George's eyes and wonder if he was pissed off too at the screaming mess. I always loved George's playing and singing. He lit up the people who knew how to listen. I have changed for the better because of George. I was amazed with All Things Must Pass. And that made life greater. I won't forget.
What a kind, gentle and spiritual man. Definitely the musicians, musician. A talent no one could teach, there will never be anyone like him. I truly miss him dearly.
George was always my favorite. His soul lives on to teach us to be conscious and mindful in our lives ... and much more. "All Things Must Pass" was an orgasmic explosion of great music played by great musicians who were drawn to George's spirit and nature. And it showed in the music he produced. Viewed through that prism, the breakup of The Beatles allowed George to show the world all the music in his soul.

For Dahni, as a father and as a son of a man who loved me immeasurably, I love my own son more than I can say. One can try to teach but all that one can really do is nurture. And when you realize that that is what you must do, the pride that you feel is immeasurable.

Brainwashed was my breakup album when the relationship with my first girlfriend ended. Made me feel better listening to it. Now it's the last week of my current job after 6 and a half years and I'm a bit scared. Listening to it again and I feel better. Any Road will take me to where I'm going! Thanks George! ❤

A thoughtful and soulful man. I appreciate all his collaborators as they seemed to truly want to express his vision with music. Thanks to all who helped produce George's themes.
George Harrison has been in his many incarnations one of the greatest composers & performers I have known for a VERY long time now. I much admire how Dhani and Jeff Lynne were able to ensure that "Brainwashed" was brought to the level it was, and I am sure that George would have been pleased And, I believe, this short video details that. George's music, and his engaging & loving personality, is always there to remind us about all the important "stuff". Friends: Look into your hearts and souls... and find a way to let go of the rest of the crap that surrounds us, way too often focused on living in the Material World.
The world is a poorer place without George.
A friend. A guitar player. A Beatle. A legend.

@@asphaltcowboy7567 dude you can love someone without meeting or knowing them in person, but george and all the beatles were so well known and spoken of that he and many of us in a way love them, Do you think all these christians knew jesus personally? like met him in person? no, but it feels like they did and they say they love him.
Spin around (like a whirling dervish) clockwise(yang northern hemisphere/yin southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise (yin northern hemisphere/yang southern hemisphere) (torus spinning). Chant any of these mantras 3 times each while facing east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northernhemisphere): "ieouams", "a-u-m", and "om". Sleep with your head placed east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northern hemisphere). Perform the 5 Tibetan rites. Play music at 528 hz.
Miss you George.🎼🎶🌹🥰
Jeff Lynne has such a great soul, no wonder why he was a great friend of George. Jeff is a music Genius and a fantastic producer. George and Jeff you can't ask for a better combination. So glad they work on several music projects together.
Sound is a life force
Just a great "look back" on George! I remember back in the day when The Beatles "broke" on the world stage. Suddenly, there was this exciting new "force" in the world. It was electric. And it was positive and hopeful. And George was a big part of that. Forever missed!
George has the power to go from looking really old to young again
Lovely to see you George your kindness
All George's songs are imbued with a higher vibration.

Cloud 9 and Brainwashed both my happy place sometimes get in the car and drive with both albums going nowhere but everywhere because of the joy George's music gives me.
Still missed ❤️
My dad RIP always said!"IF YOUR TALKING YOUR NOT LEARNING "
Brainwashed was my breakup album when the relationship with my first girlfriend ended. Made me feel better listening to it. Now it's the last week of my current job after 6 and a half years and I'm a bit scared. Listening to it again and I feel better. Any Road will take me to where I'm going! Thanks George! ❤
george had the best singing voice of all the beatles
One of my favorite albums of all time. What an amazing parting gift from George. I miss George deeply but am happy to know he is now healthy and in a better place. Peace and love.

Such a great album.
A thoughtful and soulful man. I appreciate all his collaborators as they seemed to truly want to express his vision with music. Thanks to all who helped produce George's themes.

I wish George could have lived to see this album finished. RIP George..
Truly one of the greats ! His music will last forever.
Thanks George immortal !!!!
A triumph of an album and beautifully fitting last album
Wow. First time I’ve ever seen Ray Cooper playing drums seated and with brushes. Awesome.
As a matter of fact Mr. Lynne, George did write a song all about "I love you," and it's called "You"
Thank you , that was beautiful. ...
3:52 looks like a smile that turns to pain. I know how much I miss George. Has to pale in comparison to how much Dhani misses him. RIP George.
aaww bless you george harrison and freinds and family x
The good young. I miss you George 💐
I bought it when it was released and still enjoy playing it!!❤❤❤❤
