🎼🥁 George Harrison left us a legacy in the world of the Hare Kṛṣṇa people for sure. We dote on him, even got a friend who offers him prayer. With huge financial gifts he published the literature that came from the Lord Krishna through the pen of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and thus the Vedic wisdom is now translated in to English as well as 80+ foreign languages. MY SWEET LORD!!. (20K for printing from George was just the beginning. Then he purchased an estate with surrounding acres in UK for the occasion of gatherings to hear & chant the Holy Name, for sacred food distribution, for cow protection, and for worship with fresh flowers, incense, decorations and singing for the beautiful Deities there. Thousands are attracted every year to visit, learn, love and experience the highest pleasure. Without George this couldn't have been as glorious as it is still to this day. Beautiful bottleneck slide guitar playing, George: right in the pocket, melodic, assured, distinct, idiosyncratic, unique: a weeping guitar turned to smiling in the face of mortality. "Dig it." When asked about George Harrison's contributions, Jeff Beck stated, "Now THERE'S the guy." I'll say...
A wonderful artist who left us a lot of phenomenal amount of music to enjoy (both as a Beatle and as a solo artist), a smile, and a tongue-in-cheek comment about something. The world was robbed of much more music from him when he passed away from cancer and I’m sure he would’ve enjoyed helping Ringo and maybe Paul on a song or two (either with writing or playing a nice guitar piece) while being out of the spotlight himself.

George's music is beyond beautiful.I absolutely believe that his guitar sounds are even better than on the Beatle tracks.Thank you George, Olivia and Dhani for keeping the love, peace and happiness flowing♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
George always had a quality of sincerity about him and you knew who and what you saw was real. Agree that his guitar playing got better, just like his singing and songwriting because he had more freedom to be himself. He seemed to love learning.

This is No. 1 of all the albums released in the last 20 years. To me it is a perfect record. It flows like a river, open like the sky and a Deep as the bottom of the ocean. Did I mention pure beauty?
George's son Dhani said that while he and his father were in Hawaii, they walked by a beach and saw a sign that read, "If the wind blows, you can always adjust your sails, but, if you don't know where you're going, then any road will take you there." The sign was the inspiration for the song. This is also a quote borrowed from Lewis Carroll: "Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat. "I don't much care where-" said Alice. "Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat. "-so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough." Either way, George rocked, cheers.
What a wise soul George was....and handsome to match....how sad that we had to lose him at such a young age....the world is so much sadder without him, I know I am 💜: (((((((((((((((
I don't care about quantity. That song was released after he was dead, so there was no promotion, no TV appearances, no live concerts. It is only for fans like me
Without George The Beatles would have never made it! He kept his head on! Serious about music! Thanks George!

ANY ROAD one of his best, if not the best, song in his catalog. Great video as well.
love that song, and the video.

You can tell by this record that George could've made some of his best music had he lived longer. So good.
Well, it had been a huge 15-year hiatus since Cloud Nine, but who knows...
My favorite Beatle. The things he had to say really matter. Always.

He will always be remembered as an incredible human being!
RiP sweet George. 🕉
It was Piscean humanity Leia; perhaps you are one yourself.
Leia Mary What does that symbol mean? I've always been curious 🕉️
@@anabanana62787 it's one of the most important spiritual symbols that signifies the essence of the ultimate reality and consciousness. (I wish I had actually wrote it hahahah but I dunno how to explain with my own words tbh)
Ana Oliva its a symbol of om from hindu and buddhist religion. It is about finding the inner peace by chanting the word. You can learn more about it on internet or someday visiting around south asia :) 🕉
Thank you George for taking away my blues
George's music is beyond beautiful.I absolutely believe that his guitar sounds are even better than on the Beatle tracks.Thank you George, Olivia and Dhani for keeping the love, peace and happiness flowing♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
George always had a quality of sincerity about him and you knew who and what you saw was real. Agree that his guitar playing got better, just like his singing and songwriting because he had more freedom to be himself. He seemed to love learning.
I can’t help but smile when he smiles
Thank you George...
George always was my favourite Beatle and always will be my favourite singer
Very beautiful song. One of my favs ever!
The most spiritual one of the four and my favourite beatle. Play on in heaven George, you were a beautiful human being and dearly missed!
Anyone can read from this library, no cost now online, although the beautiful paintings are missing, and one has to get the books either paperback or hardback for those.
George wrote in the Kṛṣṇa Book... 😁✔️ vedabase.io
what a beautiful human
Today 25/02/2021. Happy birthday, dear George! Thank God that you were in this world, thanks for the Music, we will always remember you...
If you don’t know where your going, any road can take you there.
What a lyric!!!
this song is so inspirational.
george himself was inspirational.
What a fantastic video. George never fails to make me grin, no matter the year.
This is No. 1 of all the albums released in the last 20 years. To me it is a perfect record. It flows like a river, open like the sky and a Deep as the bottom of the ocean. Did I mention pure beauty?
it's a good record I love him very much here how are you doing?
We miss you George. Amazing song😭❤️
He certainly packed a lot of living into his time with us...
he's my dude. this is what's up. whatta great chord progressh
George's son Dhani said that while he and his father were in Hawaii, they walked by a beach and saw a sign that read, "If the wind blows, you can always adjust your sails, but, if you don't know where you're going, then any road will take you there." The sign was the inspiration for the song.

Oh I've been traveling on a boat and a plane
In a car on a bike with a bus and a train
Traveling there and traveling here
Everywhere in every gear
But oh Lord we pay the price with a
Spin of a wheel with the roll of a dice
Ah yeah you pay your fare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there
And I've been traveling through the dirt and the grime
From the past to the future through the space and the time
Traveling deep beneath the waves
In wattery grottoes and mountainous caves
But oh Lord we've got to fight
With the thoughts in the head with the dark and the light
No use to stop and stare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there
You may not know where you came from
May not know who you are
May not even wondered how
You got this far
I've been traveling on a wing and a prayer
By the skin of my teeth by the breadth of a hair
Traveling where the four winds blow
With the sun on my face, in the ice and the snow
But ooee it's a game
Sometimes you're cool, sometimes you're lame
Ah yea it's somewhere
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there
But oh Lord we pay the price
With the spin of a wheel, with the roll of a dice
Ah yea, you pay your fare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there
I keep traveling around the bend
There was no beginning, there is no end
It wasn't born and never dies
There are no edges, there is no sides
Oh yea, you just don't win
It's so far out - the way out is in
Bow to God and call him Sir
But if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

cool
@@valkor73 Waste of Google and copy and paste lol
This is also a quote borrowed from Lewis Carroll:
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where-" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"-so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."
Either way, George rocked, cheers.
This has to be one of the best music videos of all time.
I just have to believe that when George arrived in Heaven (or Nirvana), John was there waiting with a big smile, a hug, and a "Welcome home, Brother".
I love George Harrison
Keep coming back, seems like I have been on that road most of my life, oh well get there someday...
Magic as always.
He is so handsome
I love you and miss you everyday George .Wish you a great time in heaven with John.
Happy 80th Birthday George, wherever you are.....💜☮
What a wise soul George was....and handsome to match....how sad that we had to lose him at such a young age....the world is so much sadder without him, I know I am 💜: (((((((((((((((
IMO Best lyrics by George of all his songs, sounds so much like a Wilbury's track. LOVE IT!
I can´t stand why this has so little of views! It is fantastic. Miss George!
I don't care about quantity. That song was released after he was dead, so there was no promotion, no TV appearances, no live concerts. It is only for fans like me
as he left us, wot a beautiful gift this album was, to us all. listen to the words of the title song !!! LOUD!!!!
This is the quintessential George Harrison music video. This shows the whole side of George :"3
