Q: Why don't you bag the grass?
A: No need, the heat, humidity, and bugs break down the clippings into free nitrogen fertilizer over a few days. Plus, University of Florida recommends doing what I am, so if you have a complaint take it up with them (gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.e...)
Q: What equipment are you using?
A: See timestamps below. Not mentioned are DJI Spark for drone shots and STIHL BR800 to blow off.
Q: Why don't you stripe lawns?
A: Striping lawns is not a common local practice. Most lawns here are cut too short to stripe, with yards this small or this full of stuff you don't get many chances to, and also because my main goal is to film which means filming in smaller sections rather than long back and forth.
Q: Why do you work by yourself?
A: I mow three days a week. I am mainly a stay at home dad. The amount it would cost to legally hire someone (workers compensation, social security/Medicare taxes, etc) is not worth the extra productivity they would bring.
Q: Is the new Bobcat mower yours?
A: I am currently in the middle of a several month demo from Bobcat. I was not paid to feature the Bobcat mower, am not obligated to say anything about it one way or another, and as this video shows am allowed to put it through absolutely ANYTHING I want to! :D
Q: How much did you charge for this yard?
A: Not quite $30 this time, but still less than a normal initial service would have been. I really wanted to make a video on it. For one reason to test the Bobcat ZS4000 mower, for another to make some great footage for you, and lastly to make that sweet UA-cam cheddar( • $30 Mow Made Me $28,81... )
Q: Why are you using electric lawn care equipment?
A: I was sent them to test, so they didn't cost me anything. I like saving on fuel, but the biggest reason is because when I film I have to move the camera so much. It is nice to not have a gas engine constantly running, making noise, fumes, and wasting a little bit of money every time I set it down to move the camera.
Q: What was all that stuff in the yard?
A: Mainly kid stuff, lots of abandoned gardening boxes and a fence that looks like it kept the garden separate from the rest of the backyard. Maybe to keep dogs or kids out?

realistically, they have a responsibility to get that junk out of your way if they're expecting you to come work in their yard.

he mowed your yard?
Randy Friend- if that was your yard- he absolutely did a fantastic job! Maybe you might consider having him mow it regularly. It’s a nice big yard!
I believe this is what is known as a joke.
@@themustardtiger6468 Always a tough crowd at this joint.
No no no, not my yard. I will mow in the rain before mine gets anywhere near that overgrown. Was speaking hypothetically (note the quotes around the text)
Hey Brad some advice on moving play sets and trampolines. We simply don’t do it for liability reasons. Here’s why, there are many stories out there that a contractor moved a trampoline to mow. Later when a child was bouncing on it, the trampoline collapsed and cause serious injury. Homeowner sued contractor and won. Be aware, your insurance may not cover that type of injury. Just some friendly advice and keep up the good work!!
Well he videos the move and probably asked if he is allowed to move items that are in the way. I used to do yard work as a sideline business and that is what we did ( well not filming it) You be surprised at some things we could and couldn't do. Most allowed us to move things around as long as we placed them back in the area. Swing sets, kiddy pools, plant pots. I am pretty sure he asked them if he is allowed to move items.
Absolute absurdity, that's just how ridiculous our society has become these days. Everyone looking for a settlement to cash in on.
He did not had to mive the play set, that's why we use the weed eater, but he was to lazy to do it that way

I did string trimming for 3 summers in high school. I really respect the skill when going around the wire for the AC and that spindly lawn ornament.
this is what happens when people dont know how to be decent to one another if you live next to someone that doesn't have a mower or isn't able to cut thier own yard be a decent neighbor and ask them if they'd like you to run over their yard while your mowing your own. This way the yard doesn't get over gorwn while they try to find some one to mow it for them or until they are able to buy a mower for themselves I do my neighbors lawn for her she's a nurse with barely any time to rest so when i mow my lawn I run across the road and mow hers as well it takes me three hours to cut my own yard but I still do hers it's called being a decent neighbor when times are hard.
I agree. I have many times cut the grass on vacant houses in my neighborhood, even though it means walking my mower down the street. I can never understand why the neighbors don't just mow the lawns.

@@bokolle definitely a lot of houses go through this
Yeag its probably yuck bc their parents are nor responsable for them and kids
Considering they had a lot of toys, I thought maybe they just didn’t own a lawn mower and it got out of control. I live in the suburbs and a lot of people near me hire people to cut their grass for them. But yeah, when those people retire, pass away, etc. and you’ve been having them cut your grass the last 20 years, it probably throws you off. You go from paying someone on a schedule to cut your grass, to having to find a new company that’s not on any particular schedule and your lawn gets out of control.
Either that or they were lazy. Idk, I like to think of both sides lol
YUCK??? THIS IS OK FOR ME!!! IVE SEEN BACKYARDS 100 TIMES WORSE THAN THIS!!!
