I personally think Tim's using this as a way to allow his mind to process things , good and not so good, happening in his chosen work.

I am completely gobsmacked at how much grass clippings you got up from that front lawn. The electric mower did a good job on that back yard. Bravo for a mighty fine job.
Tim I'm a 69 yr old and wish you were her in then states. It is a wonderful thing you do to help people that can't do this, and helping so many! Well Done Tim!!!! Just think how much better the world would be if we all helped each other out.

My family almost moved to Australia back in the 1960's from the U.S. My Dad was a firefighter and even had a sponsor. The pay would have been more, but at the 11th hour they realized that the cost of living was much higher than in the U.S. and Dad would actually end up making less money. It was exciting while it lasted. I was around 10 yrs old and over the moon about the idea. Looking at how beautiful your country is, I wish it would have happened. Would have been a great experience. With all the brochures and maps, etc. we had collected, I was able to make a wonderful presentation a couple years later for Social Studies class where we got to pick a country of our choosing to write about. I hope to be able to visit one day, at least. The people seem so nice and genuine.
Keep doing what you do Tim! Need more like you! We have quite a few here in the States doing this, with that number growing consistently. Like I said, Al Bladez told about you on one of his videos and I hope it helps. He is just as particular as you are. Some do better than others, but the idea is the same. They all help those in need for whatever reason. There are guys in almost every state doing this. It's even started neighbors helping each other out again, as it should be.
Sounds like you are cleaning up the neighbourhood single handed and unearthing pathways. Really good job and a well done job.

SOME people with 'bad backs' would benefit from exercise per modern medicine, but this yard is waaaay too much for her to handle with a push mower in one or two days anyway. She'd have to cut it in sections at best over the week to keep up.
And before anyone starts typing, I came back from a major disability event pushing a mower while using a walker...had people driving by stop and offer to help, or send their family down with their mower to help! First time I cut it like that it took me 9 DAYS for all of 2,940 sq ft. (House is about 780 sq ft, lot is 3,720 total). By the end of lawn season some 5 months I got it down to 3 days, and got rid of the walker along the way. By the end of season the following year I was down to 1-2 days depending on how I felt.
I know how she feels I have 6 bulging disks in my back and also arthritis in my shoulders spine and knees it takes me 3 day's to do my lawn
Wow, that cleanup was really past due. The homeowner had to be thrilled with the results. The new mower looked like it can handle tall grass with ease. Tim, you do such good job always . Admire you going the extra mile to bag the clippings. Looks so tidy and the house just knocked off 10 years.

Birds add so much to our surroundings. Love how they show up to eat bugs after the lawn is mowed, cute. Good job🙂
I know it’s an old comment, but I couldn’t believe it when I read it. This is exactly what I love about mowing my lawn. The myna birds usually get in early to get the bugs, but the resident magpies really make me smile when they swoop in an grab a garden lizard in their beak and fly off to enjoy it. They patiently sit & watch, until the perfect moment to score a tasty snack.
@@commodorenutI have to wait sometimes for my magpies to move out of the way, ride on mower so no problem.

I don’t know about the homeowner & neighbors but the birds certainly love Free Mow Friday. You barely get one swipe done & they are there!! 😂😂😂 That mower seems to do very well. Makes me think about getting one. Arthritis doesn’t like me to lift & hold gas cans anymore.
awesome job, feel sorry for people on NDIS, always hear of horror stories with people that can never get anyone to do anything for them when they are on NDIS, these people need help and thats exactly what you did for them. Hats off to you Tim.
I believe I saw two young men walk into the house in the background that looked capable of mowing the lawn. I mowed two lawns a week for years- my lawn and my mothers lawn until she passed away.
@@dalefluegel9228 Lol quick check of the dining room table probs reveal the ol' hong kong and a stack of dole paperwork. If that's the lawn I can't imagine the laundry or kitchen sink are in too much better condition 😂

Incredible job!!! You always clean up clippings and your attention to detail is so refreshing. When you're finished with a job, it's pretty well perfect . I'm sure this lady was more than pleased.

OK after that unfortunate fall, its a hazzard to the job, you never know whats underfoot. I have had similar falls and the first thing I do is get up and look to see if anyone saw it, if nobody saw

😂 you forgot the part that when you realize that no one saw it, you give that item a good kick as if it somehow moved itself and purposely tripped you. At least, that's what I do 😅 yelling at inanimate objects is a specialty of mine!
great cleanup job, glad to see you even went over the boundary line onto the neighbour's overgrown lawn. flip the 2 pallets over, turn the one to fit next to the driveway, put the bins on top of them.

Can do no more than add to the comments of, job well done. The good part about it was that there wasnt rubbish laying everywhere around the yard, which surely must make mowing easier and quicker. A pleasure to see the transformation.

You not only mow over a yard several times if needed but you also use a push mower to pick up all the clippings.....plus perfect weedeating and edging! You are just a wonderful and caring man. All our tools here are Greenworks, so we were wondering about the mower. We look at it at the store a lot. It did great on that yard and you gave it a work out! Yard looks so good! - watching from Lake Wales, Florida

Yea, the reduced noise factor of the electric mower is a BIG sales point for most homeowners, especially those with homeowner associations breathing down their backs. Neighbors HATE noise.

The Greenworks mower did an amazing job! I see power technology is advancing quite a ways. I've seen Greenworks products in the local Ace Hardware, they have mowers and blowers, string trimmers and hedge trimmers. Good job!

What really matters is the quality of the product. Right now it is hard to find commercial grade, high quality battery equipment, but if someone invested in it and made the right stuff, it'd be more reliable and better than anything gas powered. I'm still not convinced by this brand, but they seem to have put a lot more effort into it than most

This was another beautiful one! The houses look so much nicer with freshly mowed lawns. I'm shocked that the NDIS doesn't do it for her, but maybe the local council could do it for her.

That's really nice that you pick up the grass cuttings. The videos in America that I've watched no one does that. They leave a big mess everywhere. I know they're doing it for free but it sure makes a difference. So it doesn't go unnoticed the nice job you do.
They just blow it around everywhere, often the same stuff multiple times. Never see them with a catcher.

You did a beaut job, even that strip that was technically on the neighbours' side. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when you tripped over that pallet! Wonder why they've got them there?! It really looked so much nicer and I have to say, you're a good guy for doing that. I was quietly seething when I saw those guys who would have been more than capable of pushing a mower around for a while.

Very impressive job with a battery powered ride on!. You've put all the contractors that refused the job to shame.. It's a shame though, thart you didn't have one of your battery trimmers as well to make the whole job done on battery.

That really is an impressive mower. Not sluggish, cuts close (as the laundry pole), doesn't even sound like it was complaining about the extra-tall back area. That house has clean lines, when you did the driveway, and added the extra touch of blowing off the metal fence panels, it looked really good. Liked the logic of cleaning under the pallets as well, made sure it was all neat. The back patio is ready for use, and just in time for summer. It was almost startling when at 24:53 I remembered the contrast of the overgrown back lawn to the neat and edged one you were now smoothing. The mailbox path refind added to the area out front. Nice work done.

Great job! Like the way you collect all the grass clippings afterwards. The northern hemisphere guys don't always do that. We certainly do in Cape Town otherwise the southeaster would blow it all over the place. Electric mower certainly does well and nice and quiet.
