Jnil gt oh no!! I know this can be so so painful. I ended up going to urgent care and getting a prescription for steroid ear drops. It cleared up the swimmer’s ears after about 4-6 days. The name of the drops if Ciprodex.

Gloria, I had same problem w/dr instructions. NEVER did he tell me of this procedure. I have chronic ear problems. Now one ear is heavily blocked where Dr cannot see canal. You'd think he'd know about this simple move to get the wasted drops in in the canal! Of which I've wasted many needed drops because I've been doing it all wrong! It's ridiculous and incredible to me that doctors don't explain the correct way to put in ear drops like this. It's absolutely useless without pumping that cartridge part of the ear. Having your canal up close is very scary because you don’t know if your hearing is coming back, especially when you’re sleep and you wake up with your canal shut. I cannot lay down in a dark room and not being able too hear anything that would drive me fu***** crazy . Mines closed up a few times while I was driving, it was a scary moment for me

I got swimmers ear already, it was painful. I was in excruiciating pain. It was so painful i was crying constantly and i needed to take strong pain killers to stop the pain. I was overdosing on pain killers because i didnt want to feel that pain any longer.

I’ll leave it for 5 minutes ( I’ll rub the outside of my ears and push down on it) then get up, but my mom gets mad that the whole amount didn’t go down my ears. Am I doing it wrong? Yeah after two days of putting the drops in, the stuffiness went away. I suggest an oral antibiotic along with the drops just in case. But if your ear is stuffy for more than two days, I suggest going back to doctor and a different doctor just in case lol.
I think that's ok if it happens. You've given the drops some time to work before sitting up. On a leaflet I read with some drops, it said to wipe away fluid that comes out with some tissue. Make sure to bin the tissue, then wash your hands.
I have ear cough, I have used the ear drops which doctor suggested. But cough comes more and more in ear so I stopped using and now it comes dry and my ear pains

The next morning realized I couldn't hear in my right ear. Went to the pharmacy and was given ear drops to do twice a day. The infection started to slowly clear up, along with the ringing. Eventually went to the doctor who increased the ear drops. Now I'm okay.

I had the same problem. It is from earwax being pushed down from q-tips or having to much ear wax and blocking your ear drum. When i would enter the shower my ears would be completly blocked and it sounds like you are under water. You should go to your local Pharmacy (im from britan so thats what i call a place where you buy medication or stuff) and get ear drops wax softener (look into it) and i get the extra virgin olive oil one. Look more into it but i hoped i helped you🤗
I had the same and thought that my ear was blocked due to ear wax.I tried to remove the earwax using q-tips,which in turn lead to ear infection.So be careful while using q-tips.It's better if you could consult an ENT specialist.

Never push your tragal cartilage after inserting ear drops. It'll cause severe pain if done wrong. I'm suffering with the same. Please DON'T EVER PUSH TRAGAL CARTILAGE after dropping ear drops. I couldn't sleep whole night yesterday and it's still hurting while I'm typing this comment. Just keep your affected ear upwards and put the number of drops recommended by your doctor. Keep lying in the same position for a few minutes then turn around. Use a tissue to collect excess drops from your ear. Please don't ever push the tragal cartilage as the drops can cause severe pain if inserted forcefully. 🙏🏻

If you've tragal tenderness I think you might have some pathology.. such as furunculosis ( it's a localized otitis externa) you may go further for otoscopic examination

@@WOLFPack.12459 Yes, off and on. That was the first thing I noticed. I'm diabetic, my blood sugar had shot up, shortly after a loud ringing in my ear. The next morning realized I couldn't hear in my right ear. Went to the pharmacy and was given ear drops to do twice a day. The infection started to slowly clear up, along with the ringing. Eventually went to the doctor who increased the ear drops. Now I'm okay.
@@caregiverinitaly I got a face massage In which he used water and then vibrated it to clear my ear I went to the ENT doctor and she said in 7-8 days it will clear....... I am just tensed about ringing......... I also don't listen to loud music..... Can u plz tell that if will also go in my case
edit : Hearing is ok in both ears and ringing is only in right ear it also decreases and increases..... I am non diabetic also. ...... And it will be 4 days in afternoon today. ... PLZ REPLY ASAP thank you🙏

any 'ear experts' here?.......a lot of the time (especially in the morning or late at night) Im semi-deaf in one ear.......its like theres water in my left ear, I can hear but very muffled. Dont know how I worked this out but if I pull my ear lobe down the block up feeling goes away and I can hear properly again........this has also coincided with intermittent buzzing sounds. Any help apreciated.
I had the same problem. It is from earwax being pushed down from q-tips or having to much ear wax and blocking your ear drum.
When i would enter the shower my ears would be completly blocked and it sounds like you are under water.
You should go to your local Pharmacy (im from britan so thats what i call a place where you buy medication or stuff) and get ear drops wax softener (look into it) and i get the extra virgin olive oil one. Look more into it but i hoped i helped you🤗
I had the same and thought that my ear was blocked due to ear wax.I tried to remove the earwax using q-tips,which in turn lead to ear infection.So be careful while using q-tips.It's better if you could consult an ENT specialist.

THANK YOU! FINALLY SOMEONE whose going through EXACTLY what I am going through! When I push my left earlobe down not only can o hear but it pops as well. I scratched the inside of my ear and think of hit the eardrum because it had an earbud stuck in it so I used my pinky nail to remove it which In addition, scratched SOMETHING inside my ear. The muffling wasn't as bad as it is NOW and it's worse every morning so PLEASE help SOMEONE please. I'll cash app ANYONE with helpful advice PLEASE

Never push your tragal cartilage after inserting ear drops. It'll cause severe pain if done wrong. I'm suffering with the same. Please DON'T EVER PUSH TRAGAL CARTILAGE after dropping ear drops. I couldn't sleep whole night yesterday and it's still hurting while I'm typing this comment. Just keep your affected ear upwards and put the number of drops recommended by your doctor. Keep lying in the same position for a few minutes then turn around. Use a tissue to collect excess drops from your ear. Please don't ever push the tragal cartilage as the drops can cause severe pain if inserted forcefully. 🙏🏻

I think its true.. when I followed this demonstration i feel pain in my ear… than before just letting the antibiotics in my ear without pushing its been all good..
If you've tragal tenderness I think you might have some pathology.. such as furunculosis ( it's a localized otitis externa) you may go further for otoscopic examination
my local dr recommend clarizol ear drop ( clotrimazole 1 ) 10 ml. 2 yrs ago. But I was forgotten to use that...now lockdown going on. And now felling again pain ear always wet with water. I want to use that drop.is it safe for me? Pls reply. My ear has no another problem.
