here's a few suggestions to try
buy a saline rinse - this is a good way to keep your nose clear
eat chili peppers - these contain a chemical which helps shrink nose polyps naturally.
Use Tea Tree Oil - dilute it and swab the polyps with it - this can shrink polpys and reduce symptoms.
Eat foods with high levels of anioxidants - broccoli, citrus fruits etc - these help cure nose polyps naturally.

I've been living with (what I think is) chronic sinusitis for like 7 years. I got punched in the nose as a sophomore in highschool. Felt a crack and got a bloody nose, but my nose didn't feel awful, I got no bruises, and it wasn't crooked, so I figured after cracking it once it wasn't broken and I was fine. Every day after that I was able to crack my nose like a knuckle for 5 years. If I *didn't* crack my nose every few hours I would feel a lot of pressure build up. 2ish years ago my nose stopped being able to full crack, and I have to find new ways to crack it, which is less effective. And over the last 3 years I've developed other symptoms of chronic sinusitis that basically accumulate to severe gum and tooth pain, clogged nose, and extreme, EXTREME facial pressure. I definitely need this procedure done for me.
i’ve had 3 sinus infections in the last 8 weeks. i NEED this
Aah, delightful, lying on bed and watching random medical procedures on UA-cam. That's the good stuff.
I just got this surgery 2 days ago. Lots of pressure during the procedure. But it did not last long. It felt like it lasted like 30 mins. Anesthesia didn’t allow me to feel pain but I felt lots of pressure at certain points. Recovery has been MUCH better than I expected. Pain killers have worked wonders for the pain these last 2 days. Overall, a piece of cake compared to child birth.
How has everything been 2 weeks later?
Did you get the procedure with the balloon or the bone removal?
@@jamesosteen09 Amazing. I’ve been breathing SO clear. No more congestion every day/night. When it rained I would get extremely congested and sneezing nonstop etc. But not since the surgery. Been suffering from almost non stop congestion myself and having trouble breathing through my nose for a few years now. Since childhood ive also had problems with sinus infections/head colds. It even effects my sleep, not being able to wake up refreshed and feeling super groggy/foggy headed. As for the balloon Sinuplasty, I also had that done for my Eustachian tubes (to help with scuba diving) and I had my right sinus enlarged (with balloon sinuplasty plus cutting away tissue from the opening, so it’ll drain easier in future).

I stopped having sinus infections after using nasal irrigation with salt water. Is that recommended before progressing to ballon insertion or surgery? It solved my problems with no medical cost or surgery. I doubt it would help the worst cases but it certainly solved my issue. I haven’t had a sinus infection in over ten years now. When I get stopped up, I uses nasal irrigation several times a day and it really works well. I just use a bulb syringe, one cup of warm water, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a pinch of baking soda.

I had this procedure done today. Mine was extremely infected I was told. And the procedure definitely was painful. My ENT did tell me that could be possible. But I've had a bloody nose since 10 this morning. Saw the doctor and was told it's a normal process. Our body's way of healing. Which surgeon should we consult?
Omg thats looks like it would feel good to have that drained i love it whe. Your nose ramdomly drains it makes that popping feeling
I read a story about a woman regaining her sense of smell after 35years when she had this surgery.
So how does it ensure that the sinuses sta open? Is it similar to an ablation
I had a surgery done four years ago to my sinuses, specifically on the inferior turbinates. Because of that operation I received Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS). I suffer from daily nerve pain, dry nose, anxiety from the paradoxical feeling that I don't get enough air to my nose. Think carefully before you do any operation to your nose (on turbinates and near them) , you can be at risk for ENS!!
I was thinking about the procedure a few years ago but a ENT at Johns Hopkins told me that they are more hesitant now in conducting the procedure because of many led to ENS. I decided not to do it. Been able to manage without it.
@@curiouzrunners You made the right decision. Exhaust first all possibilities, like your allergies and such before you make a surgery that can cause ENS. You don't want to live in that condition. (I'm still managing it somehow because of strict daily rituals).

I have chronic headaches that sometimes go away for a week or two and come back and may last a month or more, Often wake up with a headache that seems to diminish a little once I stand up and walk around. I don't have any mucus discharges, but often have itchy sinus sometimes migrating to my ear canal. I have to take three 325 milligram aspirin and sometimes it takes more to stop the headache that usually comes back after the aspirin wears off. Saw a neurologist for a year and just told to take CoQ10, stay off aspirin and keep blood pressure checked. One doc said I had a deviated septum, and he wanted to operate, but he wouldn't say if that would stop the headaches. For sure I have sinus infections that cause itching and sneezing, but not sure if that is connected to the headaches. Hate to have an operation, but about ready to roll the dice and go under the knife. Any shade tree doctors out there with any suggestions? The professionals don't seem to have much.
I've have chronic sinus infections all year that have evolved into upper respiratory infections and now I have asthma. The past week I changed my environment and it seems like it's still persistent. No matter where I go the infections remain the same. Well now It's really started to get to me waking up to use hot compresses, rescue enhaler, and other otc remedies. I've been on cycles of antibiotics and nothing seems to work. I'm really considering this I need relief.
Be careful with antibiotics, hopefully your situation gets better.

after many years suffering from sinusitis, I healed myself using hot water, sea salt and eucalyptus oil.
put boiling water in a small bowl put the sea salt and eucalyptus oil, sit in front of the bowl and put a towel on your head close your eyes and breathe the steam that comes from the bowl for about a 30 minutes, breathing through the nose and mouth at the same time.
do this for 3/4 weeks every night before going to bed and prepare yourself for a deep not pleasant cleansing but it will bring relief and comfort to you.
it will be a life change.
do not take anything cold during this time, drink tea and stop with all milk derived products during the treatment.
Obs: The towel is supposed to cover your head and the bowl at the same time so that all the steam comes directed to your face.
If you feel too hot, do intervals every 5/10 minutes during the process.
Back here and tell me how it works for you.

Kann eine Sinusitis auch Nasenbluten auslösen?
if you're clogged like this would that bother your eyesight?
My sister had this done back in 2003-4 (before she passed away). She had it done under anesthesia, but she said this was very painful, and she hurt for weeks after. I have chronic nasal inflammation and am having to use nose spray constantly just to breathe. It's a vicious cycle because the nose spray causes rebound inflammation. I am interested in looking into this, but a little hesitant just based on what my sister went through.
I just use saline nasal spray to clean sinus and it helps me. It's basically just clean salt water, so it shouldn't do much besides flushing my sinuses.
All Nasal surgeries hurt, I've had a polypectomy and a deviated Septum surgery which did pretty much nothing. I want to have this procedure because it's the most thorough nasal surgery and I've heard stories about a woman regaining her sense of smell after 35years 2 weeks after she had this surgery
I've had FESS on all of my sinuses, including frontal, and deviated septum as well.
I had almost zero pain at all during my entire treatment.
It depends on the surgeon and aftercare.
