I watched the video on tinnitus about a week ago. Yesterday I woke up and had the running in my right ear. I remembered the video and thought “let’s give it a try”! I followed the instructions from memory and after 8 pulls the ringing stopped ! So happy for the doc and me that it works!!

I've had Meniere's disease for about 4 yrs now with constant nonstop tinnitus. As of the last few months the ringing has been the worst, to the point I couldn't hear at all out of my right ear. The ringing is so loud it's truly driving me crazy. I watched this video and the exercise of using your index finger to flick at the back of your head helped so so much. It hasn't completely stopped but it's certainly much quieter. I'm sitting in tears that for a moment in 4 yrs my life seems so much quieter. Thank you for this blessing ♡

3:12 - To add to this exercise I also tried placing my thumbs on the tragus on both ears, gently pushed them inward blocking yr ear canals, (essentially the same thing he does with his palms, just with yr thumbs) & moving them counter clockwise while hearing/ feeling a “popping” sound/ sensation, in conjunction with his exercise has really made a significant impact of relief of the ringing noise! It was almost euphoric I might add. I could see how most people would automatically assume this is all “gimmicky”, & while it doesn’t provide a “long term” solution, it does provide a significant amount of relief! Especially when yr ear has been ringing for a few days, receiving even a few minutes of relief is worth it 110%‼️

Great tips! I tried, sadly it didn’t work, but it helped release pressure and what you were describing interestingly is exactly what’s happening to me. I have pain in my jaw and this ringing started while I was really stressed 2 days ago on my computer. I noticed when using a q-tip, and clean out wax I felt my ear get muffled like sticky closed as I think I push some wax by accident (does that come back out naturally?). @@VideoGammerMan Thank you very much for making this comment. Mine last for about five minutes. But, my right ear isn't as loud anymore, I think.
I believe that the truth is that something in my diet makes the big difference. I don't know what it is, but on some days I have almost no ringing in my ears and some days it's really loud. No other factors seem to control this and I really think that it is diet.

@@NorthPoleJeff Thank you for your answer. It's the same for me, it really depends on days or moments of days. Sometimes it randomly stops for a few minutes. I never thought about diet though, my theory is more regarding stress or tension in the cervicals or in the jaw. I think about it because I noticed very hot water often calms it down, and visiting an osteopath helped for a time, then it came back. As of now the mystery remains.

@@VideoGammerMan I never thought about it being stress. I'm a senior citizen and at times, a severely disabled veteran. In my disabled times I can do nothing at all, not even talk on the phone for more than a few minutes. Then when I'm feeling better, I have to catch up with all of the stress things that have accumulated over the months that I have been down. The stress may be the cause, I will start following that thought, you may be absolutely right. Thank you and have a nice day.

Thank you! I will give this a try. Good to find a video addressing the pain I've been dealing with since the 70's when diagnosed with TMJ. I'm used to the ringing in my ears at this point, but can always hear it over everything else, and at times it gets pretty strong.

Good luck! It can, especially combined with TMJ, be really disabling!

Wow! This worked wonders for me right now. I had this sudden drumming sound in my ear and I felt like I was going crazy. I tried all the steps in this video and the drumming is all gone! I am very grateful to you for this video❤

Thank you doc. I tried for the first time and received relief in my affected ear. Especially the two fingers taping behind my head. Will continue with the rest of the instructions.

Dr Rowe; whether or not these exercises work, one thing is for sure, you do an excellent job of keeping a terrific instructional pace and explaining thoroughly the techniques involved in the exercises. Kudos to you! I will be trying these exercises, and I thank you for offering them here.
