Look at the love and support they got once they were announced. Em stood up, Will smith turned around and looked genuinely happy for them, Limp Bizkit stood up for them, tons of other people. Awesome to see.
Jesus I remember back in the late 90’s they were stupid huge. I mean competing with any pop or radio reliant bs music. And stayed strong 30 years later. Especially their live shows, omg. Amazing if you’ve never seen live. Do it
Listen, I'm only 15. I know u say that is because the bands who are at the VMAS now are gay BTS, Billie, and Taylor Swift, etc. Back then you had The Offspring, Korn, and Limp, etc. I feel you!
@@Trevorhollis21 we did have all those awesome bands. Its nostalgic for us. Like one day it will be for you. It's all about what's relatable to you during those impressionable sometimes tough teenage years and what gets you through it. Also there's time periods before me that I wish I could of experienced as well.
I was 14 when i first saw korn & Em. They both blew my mind and we're my favs from then on out, still are. This type of music, lyrics, imagery and video just busted on to the scene as nothing we've never seen before. So rebellious, so raw and in your face, so real and truthful, no more hiding. It was a release. It got so many kids through these years cause the kids weren't okay, it just looked that way.
@@idontknowanyofyoupeople Epic in the 90's was one of the best record labels in music. They made a metal band (Korn) dominate the charts, and decade (90s) in terms of popularity. David left the band in 2006 after SYOTOS because of a feud within the band that caused him to leave. The band would eventually get brought to court in 2019 for false accusations made by Silveria, but none were true.

Thats factual. They were at the top of the industry in 99!
And there's Christina like "...oh!" 😔

I have seen them live before! But I would want to grab a time machine and see them back in 1999 during their prime and peak
Man these were the days of music
God I'm old. I remember watching this just like it was yesterday.

Idk if you noticed or not but Em makes an unannounced Cameo in the Video for “Got The Life” which was before My Name is came out
99 was not a good year for will smith boxoffice wise
Guy thanked the record label. Pft.
How many times have you gone multi platinum?
@@Trevorhollis21 im just saying labels treat their artist like trash. Probably why he left the band.
