Hopefully all of the residents that were injured make a full and quick recovery.
That fire was really blowing out of the basement windows, till they got a line open, and knocked it down fast ( great job guys).
Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

Any idea what the mechanical bell sounds are? Is it something on the truck or the actual box alarm? I don't think my city ever had box alarms so it's interesting how long they've been around

They took forever to get two the window, brought inadequate water and none of them had masks on. Yep! That's USA fireplaying for yah!

First of all they’re outside, explain what IDLH atmosphere they are in? Save the air for when your interior. Secondly they don’t generally hit it hard from the yard, probably only did to reset it so it didn’t get to floor 2.
And third USA fireplay? American firefighters especially Detroit fight more fires than you could dream of, in conditions that would appall you, easy to armchair QB from a computer screen.

@christianhaupt2637 Quantity does not guarantee quality. As far as them not wearing masks with that smoke belching into their faces, go learn something before you make ignorant comments. As far as exterior extinguishmennt, get yourself educated from ISFSI. Common sense and logic should do also.

@@christianhaupt2637 Your comment about an IDLH atmosphere shows your extreme lack of understanding of what a dangerous atmosphere really is. Is that some kind of special non-carcinogenic smoke those firefighters stuck their heads in? No it isn't. In ten years (or less) when these firefighters file their claims for occupational cancer treatment, the City of Detroit will be able to use videos like this as justification of their denial. If you aren't going to use the personal protective equipment you're provided, you are on your own for paying for your treatment.

@@JB91710 ISFSI is just like NFPA useless crap put out by people who haven’t fought a fire in 25 years or by people completely out of touch with the actual realities of firefighting. Since all you do is troll American fire videos why don’t you mind your own business and stay on your side of the pond. Worry about your own fires, I’d suggest you start on highrise fires the last big one you lads had only took 60 hours to extinguish.
