- Detroit Fire Engine 9 Stretched On A Occupied 2 Story Dwelling Going In The 1St Battalion. Ladder 6 Reports Heavy Smoke Showing. More Videos Are On The Way!
Thank You For Watching. - Розваги
A typical Detroit fire, all smoke and flames and NO water!!
Let it burn policy, Many cities are doing this now. If the house is abandoned, squatters, homeless live in or you have not paid your taxes or are evicted, let it burn and only protect the structures around if there not in the same situation.
Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident.
Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.
Got to love the way Detroit handles its urban renewal program. No demo cost to the taxpayer.
AND everyone goes home safely.
Why it take so long for them to put water on it an just standing there
Nice footage yesterday was busy so many fires
Why didn’t take so long to get the tower ladder set up
Why did they ever send that ladder truck if they weren’t going to set up a ,ladder pipe off of it.
Controlled burn is better for the City of Detroit than having to go through the hassle of a demolition. I assume the house was abandoned. Squatters, Preservationists and legal issues averted.
Maps shows them both occupied in 2019. The yellow house seems to be in pretty decent shape.
good stuff joshfire
It seems to me like those twin nozzles on that tower ladder should of made short work of that fire. If they are vacants, maybe the DFD wanted to let them burn? I’m not sure of the strategy here…….
Detroit has been doing this for years. If the house has been vacant for a period of time they let it burn. Eventually it'll cut down on arson when there's no more unoccupied houses left to burn.
😂😂😂😂 saving the foundation in Detroit
Unfortunately it is so typical for DFD, but they call it urban renewal! Fire Protection is a priority in Detroit! Burn down the old tenements for new homes. 😂
What new homes ! Nobody wants to live in that crap hole .
Job = get in the firetruck, go to the fire, stand back and watch it burn
That house didn’t stand a chance
Help me here? If it’s policy/sog to let vacant burn, what happened to exposure 1? Is this rural Detroit. Long response distance?
First arriving should have protected exposure , it does look to have lights on..
I have yet to see any aggressive interior .. or is this channel slow to get to scene and only arrives after the crews are pulled out?
Just looking for some insight.
Hi Josh new name for this show "FIRE KING" and you need to explain to your followers exactly what the fireman are doing
This fire could easily take off burning other things. Where's the water?
It’s Detroit lol
Hellfire!
What gets me is thay all stand a round watching burne 😂
It's called defensive firefighting
It’s called Detroit style fire”fighting”….

So I'm not sure if the fire department had no water, or just didn't feel like putting any on the actual fire? No hose lines all around the perimeter? If there were water issues, usually the person making the video says so. So lacking that I can only assume they decided to just stand around and watch it burn. A burning house on a hill, you'd think their tower ladder would have been in the air. You'd think they would want to keep the surrounding property from going up even if the house was already a total loss. Looks like they eventually got one line in the front door.... for what?
Did fireworks start this fire 🔥
It's sad.but, that house was doomed before the first truck arrived and there was no stopping it. Protect surrounding buildings and let it burn.
Put out the fire ????
What was the cause of this home to go up???
Parking Lot in the Making
I get it because I have been in the firefighting occupation for over 30 years but do you ever ask the question why some cities even have a fire department? I understand Detroit including DFD has its challenges -- but whatever happened with quickly establishing a water supply and at least get water on a fire/exposure(s). I am afraid firefighters in many large cities are simply burnt out (no pun intended) and are caught between a rock and hard-spot awaiting retirement age??? This is sad for those that depend on a rapid responding and reacting fire department to respond and do the job!!!
my first Detroit video, dose Detroit not have water??
@@stevevezaeu4936 Yes
Suspicious??? Dozer bait.

this is not a 1/34 fire 2/12 now
Ça vous prends dont bien du temps pour arroser. Au nombre de camions sur place... vous laisser brûler?
what the fuck you need a lot of water
I do not get the strategy of dumping a tank using a pipe without having a water supply established??? Do they really think it is going to stave off the fire of this magnitude??? Frustrating to watch! Now they lay reverse lay out to the hydrant after wasting time dumping 500 gpm through a 250-300 gpm pipe tip???
Wouldn’t an objective be to put water on the fire ?
Not in Detroit
for 1 thing detroit is broke n has many fd trucks broke down n cant fix them....and if its a vacant house they let it burn down so they dont have to come back when it burns again.....
🤔🤷🏼♂️
why did it take so long to get water flowing must have been a water shortage got 25 years in fire service just saying
somethings wrong here
wtf
Duh
Looks like you guys have no morale or somebody's not running the show right I can't believe I hope you guys get help bye
