Watching this video about international couples made me realize how diverse my family is-it's like our own United Nations! I'm half Chinese and half Vietnamese, and my wife is Indian from the Fiji Islands. One of my brothers-in-law is half Black, 1/4 Swedish, and 1/4 British, while another is white. My niece's husband is Mexican, my son's girlfriend is Filipino, and my daughter's boyfriend is Italian. Despite our different backgrounds, we're incredibly close and get along so well. Love truly knows no borders!

The first couple were very attractive and they seem like a good match, but the second couple, I really liked how the British man was so considerate of his girlfriend and after speaking he would turn to her and say, “What was it like for you ?” He was genuinely nice and kind., he was very polite and wanting to allow her to express herself and her opinions. It shows mutual respect and understanding for her as a woman.
If you can interview Chinese couples and other mono-racial foreign couples as well that'd be great. It's all about love and perspective in the end. Different people view love differently which is fascinating.
Western parents are also depend on where they come from. Some westerners they live in villages since they were Born ,they may never go to other countries. They are also very tradition.

AFWM definitely face discrimination in China though. Even in the US, although not outwardly. We live in a patriarchal society. Women tend to marry up, and men tend to marry down. If a woman from a less desirable social economic background marries a man from a traditionally more desirable background, it generally means it’s a loser-loser combo.
