Only the Japanese can manage to learn Chinese that way by learning to write the hanzi from day 1. In fact their ability to pick up tones is so terrible that some of them simply start composing sentences writing in Chinese by hand even as a beginner a feat that is impossible for any other foreigner who is just starting at the same level but not being able to speak it well.

exactly. chinese teach english the same way they teach foreigners chinese. it starts with writing. so without hearing the sound of a language one starts writing it. it does not follow the natural order of how humans learn. i hope no country teaches english like that. no infant in this world learns a language by writing it at 1 or 2 or 3 years old. it is backward. it is wrong. it is not natural. it is akward and it doesnt work well. and it is fake learning. it is not human. in china, teaching becomes forcing. not only do chinese dont know how to teach chinese. they dont know how to teach anything i feel! the whole educational system of china is forcing not teaching. just so many wrong things in china that need to be improved. that doesnt work. i bet no country can become great in a short period of time and china is a great example of that. even though its economic growth is shocking and its top but other aspects are disappointing. there are so many so many things that are wrong that need to be corrected changed imrpoved even invented. so many things that just dont work! i hope US doesnt feel threatened by china because china is just like a teenager with a hot head thinking it can do anything without knowing how reality works and its own capability. teenager need to grow up and mature before thinking and functioning like an adult! all eyes on china. yes. but china is not that great. thats why people should come to china to make it better. china definitely needs that. in general what i feel about chinese is that chinese are fake humans. they dont know the natural order of things. they dont understand the beginning and end of things. they dont really think. they are not mindless but kinda brainless. so they dont really form a complex and thorough view of things. they dont have independent thinking abilities or its not that strong in my opinion. they can be friendly and nice but they are kinda stupid. thats why most products from china just broke down after a while and cars phones washing machines ACs you name it just broke down after a little while. especially machineries. because they dont originate in china so they got to learn from afar and its not easy. chinese are not that developed especially with science. when it comes with mechanical things and science you can see china is like infant trying to walk. its really just at an emerging state. science in china is just like the way they teach foreigners chinese or the way chinese learn a foreign language. its all wrong and its not how things naturally work. any subjects in fact from the west is learned in a backward akward and some times wrong way in china. its so misleading and confusing. china is not just the beautiful tall buidlings at all. it might look developed on the outside. but when you look inside, its messy. its immature. its childlike. it hasnt got enough time to develop into a wellrounded society yet. sorry! i am chinese myself. also china used to be a great country having developed for thousands of years but after the world wars it was murdered and was reborned as a baby. an ancient civilization turned into a baby. yes. i think its a pity. it got smashed into pieces and all of the precious parts of china was lost. do you still think china is great?? china used to be a wise and mature civilization but it got reincarnated. now its just a baby learning to talk and walk. it got the same name but man its not the same person. and who murdered china? look at hong kong macau and taiwan, why they dont got murdered? because either they got the smart chinese or they were managed by the west. yes the west didnt murder these regions even if it might have been easy. only mainland china got murdered. china murdered itself. no western countries were present. so why an ancient civilization has to learn to walk and talk again? is it because of the west's invasion? or is it because of the stupidity of some people with the same blood and flesh as you and me? i know i am crazy. so sory

I went vegetarian for about 4 years when I was trying to heal my body from a sports injury, and my chiropractor recommended cutting down on animal protein to help with the inflammation. I became very lean, but still quite strong. However, I stopped being vegetarian 2 years ago as my aim was to build muscle after healing from my injury. I notice that I have put on weight and my waist line is not as trim as it was when I was eating vegetarian. As a result, for the new year I will reduce animal protein and increase my fruit and vegetable intake again, but I won’t totally cut out animal protein from my diet. For me a good balance is best.
