I’ve been an ethical vegan and whole food plant based eater for over 33 years and I’ve never used a cookbook or recipes. And I’m poor. Ppl need to understand that you don’t need expensive products or complicated recipes with a ton of ingredients. I eat simply - but I eat well. My breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal soaked in soymilk with flax and pumpkin seeds, walnuts, raisins and blueberries, my lunch is a peanut butter sandwich and fruit, and my dinner is generally a large bowl of greens, potato, hummus and/or beans, avocado, red pepper and sauerkraut, topped with nutritional yeast and Braggs amino acids. Desert is more fruit. Eating well and ethically doesn’t have to be complicated. 😊✌️🌱
@@ScreamingDucksShotMyMother different people have different preferences so yeah. sounds great to me tho! oatmeal and peanut butter sandwich with fruit? YES PLEASE ❤

Here are some other suuuuuuper simple but tasty things that you either didn’t know were vegan, or can make as a quick dinner: Refried bean tostadas ( just buy some cheap tostadas, canned refried beans, veggies and microwave the beans. Assemble and I’m not kidding, it’s so delicious, comforting, easy, and healthy to) Peanut rice noodles ( combine ginger, peanut butter, soy sauce, hot sesame oil. Rice noodles cook really quickly, so just add the cooked noodles to the sauce, stir, top with tofu, veggies, and green onions, then voila a delicious and noutricious meal in ten minutes with barely any dishes Vegan dessert: Coconuts chocolate mousse (heat up coconut milk, whip into vegan dark chocolate, chill, and then you have a great vegan dessert) Oreos Biscoff cookies Hope this helped anyone who was considering making the switch to Veganism 😊

@@andreasiven21No they do not “do it on purpose.” Processed junk food, because it tends to contain a lot of preservatives, is a lot cheaper to transport and store than fresh food. Fresh vegetables have a relatively short shelf-life, so inevitably some product is going to spoil before it reaches stores, and even in stores, some is not going to sell before its sell-by date. That product loss drives up costs. Plus, fresh food needs to be refrigerated during transport and in stores, which of course costs money. The cost difference is not some sort of supervillain conspiracy; it’s basic economics.

maybe do it little by little maybe think of meals you like and think of how you can make it more vegan/vegetarian or maybe go veggie first and see how you like it and maybe in the future you could go vegan don't rush into anything it needs to work around you e.g. lifestyle, dietary requirements, money wise, etc do it little by little Ive been veggie for 6years Hope this helps
i really appreciate your approach to cooking, food, and veganism!! you make it easy, non judgmental and approachable and you’re just too cute :-) i’m a vegetarian but i’m gonna be incorporating lots more fully vegan recipes thanks to you :-)

You are absolutely delightful and your recipes are delicious! This old Nana and Opa wish you continued success and blessings. 😋🌱🩷
The best part of being vegan is not only the taste but is stopping all those evil deaths of farm animals by those who think only dogs & cats need kindness. Edit- my family ate few mangoes & tomatoes today- for those who feel highly intellectual- pl do observe that those plants & trees Aren't affected, hurt or even 'killed'...!
I want to tell you one thing if you are against to kill animals so don't hurt and kill trees also they also have life they just can't express it to your thought is totaly pointless 😂
I agree with the part that vegan recipes are common and cheap in india, but most population is not vegan. Around 30% population is vegetarian not vegan. Rest eats meat
