Thank you, I will do an update in about 6-12 month. It will take a while to break them in 😁

Beautiful denim! Just wish they had button fly instead of zipper. That's a real turn off for me. The let to breaking them in us to luke warm soak them before you wear them to get sun of the extra starch out. They'll still be stiff and you don't lose any color because, selvedge denim is dyed very well. You'll lose singer of they top dye that rubs off on everything but, three color won't change at all. I do this to all my selvedge denim and it always held with the break in. Special my 21 & 22oz. jeans. Keep on selvedging! Hope you post your progress with them. Turn them inside out before you soak them.

Yes, I did initial soak first and now trying to break them in, wearing every day....no fading whatsoever yet :(( I will do an update post in a few month. Thank you for watching.

Thank you for the review. Can you tell me what the rear rise is for this jean? And also the rear rise for the 100s? Thank you!

101z 21oz pre washed Rear Rise 16 1/4" after the first 45min old water soak Rear Rise is: 16 1/8" As for 101s.....unfortunately I don't have them any longer it was to tight to my taste especially low Front Rise (it was 10") Sorry totally forgot to measure Rear rise in my review. Hope it helps. Thank you for watching.

They are wider at the tops of the thigh simply because you’re meant to wear them sitting astride a horse. Also remember that there are many Chinese factories located in Italy . However I like these jeans . I’ve got a pair of ‘ Lee Rough Riders Silver Star ‘ and they are excellent . Tougher than Levi’s 501xx

They shrunk a little after initial soak, and actually fit very nice right now, beautiful denim. As far as for Chinese factories located in Italy....you could argue that you can locate Chinese factories anywhere in the world including US. Thank you for watching.

I wish they did button fly but still great jeans.

Totally agree about the button fly, but the quality is exceptional...equal to Iron Heart for a lot less money.
