Fun fact: if you stand at the tip of nekoti rock, you can see the very edge of the map. Rockstar didn’t do a good job to cover it up as they have in rdr2
I remember standing at the tip of the map and staring into the land across the water, wondering what was over there. Needless to say I was quite hyped for RDR2, but this is also very cool to finally see
I actually made it across to the RDR2 portion of the map in RDR once., I actually hit an invisible barrier. I Jumped on a fast travel wagon, (you can only do it on this specific stage coach)as I went in the river and glitched on top as the curent moved the wagon. After many attempts I actually made it and ran into an invisible wall across the river.
Before RDR3 I'd love to see a remaster of RDR1 that seamlessly blends into the ending of RDR2. If they played their cards right they could include the 3rd installment at the same time continuing the story of Jack Marston at the end of the Remaster. It would be sick to explore the map of RD1&2 all together as one in all three games with the addition of new areas. They would have to update RDR2 to include some of the new locations too tho
OP has to start what the 'remaster' means in essence especially, knowing that RDR3 is completely unnecessary unless you'll make it like Red Dead Revolver which isn't directly connected to both the 'Redemption' Red Dead games...
That part of the map is unconssitant in both games in rdr1 it goes like it goes a little curve to the left but in rdr2 curve goes very much to the right 🤔
You used to be able to cross the river to this area in RDR 1 Online by taking the Stagecoach from the Mine and backing it into the water. Then you jump on it and float to the other side.
@@RDRPlayer. that's amazing ! This place is where i think, some of Red Dead Revolver event happen. Continue like this, you can still show us lots of places, and secrets !
Even what already existed was redone from scratch, but they already had a basis for it, which is the RDR1 map. And so we could see a very basic version of New Austin and even Nuevo Paraíso reformulated in the RDR2 engine. I say basic because many interiors that could exist, such as the chapels, are not present in RDR2.
A lot was rebuild from scratch but, some things show up from both games. The same canyon where Josiah plays dead or something while saving Sean can be explored in both games. A small divot in runs in the middle of both games that is in the same play as hawk eyed creek. But, the environment is different, the eastern side of big valley in the first game was more open, had less trees and resembled Great Plains. If you get more west towards Cochiany the landscape looks like the gap between Manzanita and Beechers hope (Kinda dark green grass, birch, maple and oak trees.) Once you go north near the map stop rendering it looks more like typical Tall Trees (Little snow, tall pine trees and just dirt😂) a lot of that isn’t shown in 2. Not only that but the treasure located in undead nightmare north of McFarlane ranch isn’t even there. The whole canyon like area nowhere. Not out of the map or nothing. And Tall trees alone was redesigned, it had ugly rust colored dirt and tall redwood trees that weren’t there in the first game. And the layout is not as open.
Yes, there are several official situations where we see cars in RDR1. Right at the opening of the game, when John arrives in Blackwater on the ferry with the agents. There is also just a decoration for the scene, such a car destroyed in a location in Blackwater. There is a mission with Agent Ross in which we ride in this car, but as a passenger. To drive, only possible with mods.
